We booked this villa as we are considering moving to the Costa Brave. The location is North West of Lloret de Mar, so good access to restaurants and the general area. The house is mainly white, inside and out so is light and bright. The owner is an artist and this is evident by the artistic details in ornaments and things like mirrors and furniture , small touches that make it more of a home than a rental home.. We both need a good bed to sleep in as we have both had major back operation, we are happy to say the bed we used was very good, king size. The interior is good quality, well finished so it looks clean and is easy to keep clean, tiled kitchen and bathrooms etc. It is well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. There are ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms which were useful. We took our two small dogs and were happy to let them run in the garden and it is fenced. The garden is pleasant with Mediterranean plants. Although there is nowhere by the house to walk our dogs, we found a small lake 5 minutes away where they could roam freely.
Traveling with a group of 6 friends and this particular rental was our worst on the trip. The house has a very strong odor and some of the blankets/pillows on beds and couches smelled of cat urine (feral cats are common in the region), there was also an ant problem which ruined much of our fresh food. The furniture was also quite old and uncomfortable and while there were enough beds to sleep 6 there was not enough seating in the living/dining area for us.
All that said, the property manager, Isabelle, went out of her way to find us another rental location nearby that was clean and lovely! We were very grateful for her assistance even on the local holiday weekend.
