It was a wonderful get-away retreat from the hustle and bustle of sight seeing and touring around the Okanagan. The cottage is quaint and cozy, well equipped for anything you may need, and very quiet and cozy. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend. Frankie (the cat), loves to say “hi” and greet you as he toodles the yard outside.

A very nice place to stay near Oyama. It is close to Pebble Beach near the Salty Caramel Cafe. The main bedroom has a wonderful view of the lake. The kitchen is well appointed and supplied. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful Canada Day long weekend stay

We stayed at Pixie Bay on a girls trip to Lake Country to explore the wineries and beautiful area. This is a lovely cottage and location! Communication with the host was fantastic and smooth and our time was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you Heidi and Steve for a wonderful long weekend getaway!

Amazing vacation

Wy wife and spent a week in the Kelowna area and Heidi and Stevea pixie bay Vrbo was our home base. The place itself was clean, spacious and well stocked with anything you would need. I can’t say enough about how well I slept in that bed!!! Heidi and Steve were available to answer any questions and provided some great recommendations for places to go some of their favourite restaurants and winery’s. The beach was a short walk and we spent some down time enjoying the beach and views. The location was perfect for us exploring the okenagan area and Heidi and Steve were great hosts. I would not hesitate to recommend their VRBO and I know we will be back!

A Hidden Gem on Pixton !

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pixton Cottage it was well equipped with kitchen supplies, dishes and utensils! Our first impression was “wow” so clean, bright, spacious and newly renovated! The girls were so excited to choose a bedroom when they are decorated so beautifully with such a talented artistic touch ! Heidi and Steve were very helpful and live upstairs. The stay was quiet and they respected our privacy but if we needed them by text they responded promptly ! The suite is air conditioned and we were provided extra fans if needed, but the temperature was perfect. The beds have memory foam and were very comfortable so we could get a good rest each night. We will definitely stay again and recommend this cottage to other friends. The cottage is 15 minutes from the Kelowna airport and close to shopping, groceries, gas stations, and restaurants. The cottage is just up the walk way from a tiny public rocky beach access with a log bench for enjoying your morning coffee! Thank you so much to the both of you for sharing a little piece of your Okanagan paradise with others ! This suite is a hidden gem !

This suite is very clean, nicely decorated and really well appointed. Everything you need for preparing your own meals but close enough to some lovely restaurants if you’d rather not cook. Amazing vacation accommodation!!

This was an amazing holiday for our family. We fell more and more in love with it the longer our trip went on! I recommend this as a fantastic area to explore in the Okanagan and a beautiful spot close to many beaches and amenities with out the hustle and bustle. Heidi and Steve are great!

Heidi, thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home! This was our first time staying in a VRBO, we’ve always stayed in a hotel, not anymore, completely converted! Your home is very homey, inviting, the views are stunning, the smell out the front door are intoxicating, the sounds of the crickets and owls were amazing! A Heaven on Earth

A wonderful, peaceful place, clean, well equipped with beautiful views of the lake and the mountains, close to several good restaurants and many orchards and wineries. The hosts are extremely friendly. We went back for the second time this year and enjoyed every single day of the entire week we stayed there. God willing we will go back next year.

Family visit to Kelowna

This suite and location location are excellent, and a great value for the price. The pictures of the suite are exactly as shown. It is beautifully decorated, with lots of nice added touches. We were very comfortable for our week long stay, and Heidi and Steve were pleasant, and very accommodating. We loved the location, with a short walk to the beach, and nice markets and restaurants close by. And our hosts provided some great information on nearby attractions and hiking trails. Some of this houses exterior could be freshend up with a coat of paint, but don’t let the exteriors curb appeal deter you when you drive up

Comfortable stay in Lake Country for a Wedding

We chose this VRBO primarily for its proximity to the wedding venue (5km away). My mother and I were attending my sister’s wedding in Lake Country and we just needed a place to stay for 5 nights. Shortly after arrival Heidi stepped out to say hello and to let us know that she’s around if we needed anything which I appreciated. The rental unit, located on the ground level, consists of an entryway area, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a large kitchen/dining/living room area. While there’s no bathtub the shower stall is very spacious (72” by 36” by my estimation) which felt like a treat after years of using a 30” by 30” shower stall at home. The handheld shower head and water pressure also deserve a shout-out. Moving on, the kitchen contains a 2 burner electric stove and all the cooking ware you could need for any home cooking. The complimentary coffee was fantastic (I didn’t miss a single morning). The dining table can also serve as a work desk if you brought a desktop computer. No complaints about the bedrooms – the beds were large and on the firmer side which I prefer. I slept very well. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

we enjoyed our stay at the house, the property owners were very friendly, they took care of all our needs. The house is very clean, located close to the beach in a very quiet and peaceful area of the Lake Country, close to restaurants and wineries . We will go again......

The perfect summer retreat!

Heidi and Steve are amazing hosts! Their newly renovated cottage is beautifully decorated and very comfortable! The quiet location is private and steps from Okanagan Lake. We were so grateful for AC in the +40 degree heat. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Thank you!

Relaxing spot by the lake

A pristine fully equipped two bedroom suite that is steps from the lake, beautiful view, orchards within walking distance
 this place was all the good things you hope for and more. When we arrived we were first taken by the view of the lake. Everything is decorated in a chic country style with one of a kind art pieces (which we later found out Heidi, the host, made!). The beds were so comfortable. The kitchenette is the most fully equipped stylish kitchenette we’ve every seen. This place has everything you need to spend a few days or even weeks resting with all you need to store and cook a few meals or if you’d rather eat out - the host provided an excellent list of options for local cafes/ restaurants. Heidi and Steve are welcoming and were available if we needed anything or had questions.

We are Heidi and Steve and it would be a pleasure to welcome you to our little piece of the Okanagan Valley in one of Canada's most popular vacation destinations. We have travelled and lived abroad extensively and appreciate how important it is to ensure our guests are comfortable while staying with us. We love to meet new people and would be happy to spend some time getting to know you, but we also appreciate that some folk like their privacy and quiet space. We will take our cue from you as to your preferences. We both speak English and Spanish and Heidi also speaks German.
You will likely meet Inspector Frankie, our well-loved cat who does a great job keeping our property free of intruders. We want to maintain a cat-free zone in your unit for future guests so we ask you not invite him in. As his name suggests, he is curious and may even jump into your car without your consent. He isn't the cuddly type, but will say hello and welcome you in his own way.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have a hard time leaving the Okanagan ourselves for vacation, because this is the place we would want to come to for our vacation! We love the weather and the scenery and we love our 70's cottage. We fell in love with the view and bought the house for the that reason and the access to Okanagan Lake. Now that our children have moved on, we are excited to share this place with our guests at Pixie Bay Cottage. We look forward to making their stay as comfortable as possible.

You will enjoy spectacular views, sunsets, sun-showers over the lake, stargazing on clear nights, birds singing, peaceful evenings, tranquil mornings, waves lapping the shore and walks along the water. In the summers enjoy refreshing dips in the lake and the short drive and easy access to world class wineries, restaurants, golf courses, hiking trails, biking trails and many other activities and amenities.
