Luxe1895 chic cosy cottage hot tub tennis court dog and child friendly
In low-season we offer 2 night weekend stays, with an early check in of midday on Friday and a late check out of 6pm on Sunday, (but this website will give you the high season check in and check out times) This is one of two historic cottages on a private country estate in Central Scotland, not far from Perth. Each cottage has it's own hedged private garden with hot tub and double storey children's playhouse. The cottage can sleep 6 adults + a toddler in two large bedrooms. Upstairs is a shower/toilet and downstairs is a roll top bath with shower and toilet.
The sitting room with patio doors has a log burning stove for getting extra cosy and outside is a fire pit for nights looking at the stars. There is a shared tennis court 50m away. We are dog and child friendly, within limits, please ask!
We loved our stay here, the facilities were the best of any holiday cottage we've stayed at and the host was excellent from start to finish.
We will definitely be returning!
Thank you for a wonderful week.
A wonderful space for our long stay. Beautiful surroundings, good facilities and excellent communication with the host. Easy to use, well equipped, comfortably furnished, it quickly felt like home from home. A river to walk the dog to, and safe enclosed garden. Town just 20 mins drive. We will definitely stay again.
The rural setting is astonishingly beautiful, with the river Tay just down the hill. The cottage has an outdoor jacuzzi and tennis court, although I mostly enjoyed eating outside as the sun allowed. I needed the car, since town is 20 minutes away, although a bicycle would probably have done if I had been that keen. The host was helpful, and the setting is really picturesque/peaceful, with gardens and walks on the doorstep. I bought supplies in town for my stay, although a welcome pack gave me essential basics until I roused myself to go shopping. I enjoyed the evening eating outside and sitting in the jacuzzi drinking Prosecco, and walked along the river. I managed a couple of local walks, the further hill walks I barely touched. Try the Pitcairngreen Inn for eating out locally, as the close-by Chapelhill Inn was still closed. There are other eating places in Crieff, and thereâs Scone Palace to see which is pretty amazing. I loved my stay and will go back.
