Perfect Villa

This was our third stay at Cliff View this year. Like many other visits, everything was perfect. A well-equipped kitchen tempts you to cook your own meals. A perfectly maintained house, with lovingly decorated rooms. The owners were very pleasant to deal with. The house is ideally located for excursions in the surrounding area and further afield. We will definitely stay there again on future visits to Scotland.

Everything we needed!

Cliff View had everything we needed for our stay in Perthshire where we explored the historical sights by car. We appreciated the space to relax and stretch out after two weeks going from hotel to hotel while walking the West High Way and Great Glen Way. Norma and Arthur we great hosts.

Short stay in Perth

Very clean and comfortable cottage . Wifi was easy to get. Plenty of space for the six of us. Good position to do loads from. Water sports centre is walking distance as is the river Tay. Very nice stay.

Clean and peaceful

Family of four with teenage kids. No amenities within walking distance, so you probably need a car. The remoteness makes for a very peaceful stay. Great hiking trails nearby, including a walk along the river. Extremely clean.

Perth Cottage

The property was very nice and in a good location. Check in was very easy and the host communicated very well. 5 stars for the property and host. The only reason for the 4 stars overall, was because the kitchen lacked some of the basics (salt, sugar...) and the beds were not terribly comfortable. However, we would stay here again if in the area. The cliff view, cleanliness, and great host communication was appreciated.

Dreamlike accommodation

The house is a wonderful place to spend the vacation. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen offers everything you need to cook in a more than perfect equipment. The rooms are lovingly decorated and all equipped with tv. The garden is huge and very well maintained and landscaped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Scotland. The communication was very good. Thank you for a great time in Perth at Cliff View.

perfect accomodation in perth

The bungalow was spacious, spotlessly clean, furnished with quality furniture and very comfortable. Bed linen beautifully clean and crisp and bathroom towels were soft and fluffy. The kitchen very well appointed, everything you could need and also have a laundry room. The lounge was very spacious and comfortable and the garden was perfect. Private , spacious and no near neighbours . Can make as much noise as you like which our grandchildren did. Excellent value for money and we cant recommend it highly enough.

Thank you Scott for taking the time to write this great 5 star review. We are so proud of our Cliff View bungalow and are so pleased you enjoyed it. Moreover, we hope you had time to enjoy the surrounding area with out panoramic views of Kinnoull Hill and the Friarton Bridge and the abundance of wildlife that visit Cliff View from Roe Deer, Rabbits and Foxes to Buzzards and Finches which can be regularly spotted. Also there is so much to see and do around the area within walking distance that you can park up in our free onsite parking area and visit the banks of the River Tay, Willowgate activity centre or the Branklyn Gardens

Lovely well equipped and very clean cottage with nice garden areas , just a few minutes drive into Perth. Owners had thought of everything needed for your stay, and was a great base for exploring from. A little difficult to find initially as the nearby road layout was interesting , both couples missed turning, but once you had done it once it was easy. Main downside is the cottage is very close to the dual carriageway which we didn't realise when booking, although you can't see it due to the trees in front of it. However the noise is very loud in the garden and if you have the windows open , we did as it was 30 degrees, it makes it difficult to sleep although its very quiet with windows closed. We slept in one of the twin rooms and beds were not comfy , every time you turned you could hear the bed springs and it needs better pillows. However we did have a lovely weekend catching up with friends , enjoying homecooked meals, a takeaway and playing games in the comfy lounge and visiting nearby attractions.

Wir haben eine schöne Woche im Cliff View House verbracht. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind zudem sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ermöglicht es sowohl in kurzer Zeit ins Zentrum Perths zu gelangen, als auch zügig in Richtung umliegender Städte und Gebiete zu kommen. Anzumerken ist, dass die Position auf der Karten bei fewo-direkt nicht korrekt ist; das Haus liegt ca. 1-2km von der in fewo-direkt vermerkten Position auf der Dundee Road entfernt an einer großen Auf- und Abfahrt auf die Autobahn

Die Villa ist komplett ausgestattet, bestens gepflegt, in der Küche ist alles vorhanden was für eine Essenzubereitung in jeglicher Art notwendig ist. Die Inhaber geben mit den Dekorationsstücken der Haus einen eigenen Touch. Gepflegter Garten mit grosser Terrasse die zum Verweilen und entspannen einlädt. Rundum nur positives zu Berichten. Besten Dank an die Vermieter für eine so grandiose Urlaubsunterkunft.

Schöner Urlaub, gute Lage

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Schottland sehr genossen. Das Haus Ist mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Der Weg zum Pub/in die Stadt ist zu Fuß gut zu machen, allerdings etwas länger als erwartet. Die Zimmer und Küche sind gut ausgestattet. Für Unternehmungen rund um Perth sehr zu empfehlen.

Lovely scenic views. Ideal for a city get away yet car friendly for amenities. Lovely property with mod-cons. Lots of activities within a reasonable driving distance. Friendly property manager just a phone call away and very helpful.Highly recommended and would stay here again.
