Villa No 2 has two floors All rooms are beautifully furnished to the highest standards.Downstairs has a open plan kitchen- dining -living area opening on to a large terrace which overlooks the garden and has amazing sea views. The kitchen is fully equipped with full oven and hob ,dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer.There is even a wood burning stove for our winter guests.
From here walk down to the pool and garden area with it's lovely seating area. Also on this floor is twin or double bedroom according to guest wishes and a bathroom with shower.
Walking up the stairs we get an beautiful view of the pool ,garden and the sea through the large stair window. On the upper floor we have a spacious twin/double room with balcony which overlooks the garden below. Also a bathroom with spacious shower and a double room with a large balcony with views of the ionian sea. It is everyone,s favourite spot.
A really beautiful Villa.

Lovely villa with nice views and very handy for the airport. 2 or 3 nice tavernas about a half hour walk away. Villa also has a very large bbq area with it's own lighting, seating and washing facilities which is not shown on the photos.

The property was wonderful and very well kept . Tye kitchen had all the tools and supplies necessary if you decided to do any cooking or shopping .

Everything for a family vacation, inside and out. Joanne was very helpful and a wonderful host. You could hang by the pool all day, host guests, and just feel comfortable as if it was your home. I would return here next time. Jim

Great villa!

A lovely villa just a short distance from the airport. The outdoor space is amazing and the interior has everything you need. Joanne made us feel very welcome and we had a great time once again in beautiful Kefalonia.

An Escape with beauty comfort and rest

Will definitely not forget

The property is situated minutes from the airport with beautiful veiws of the ionian sea and mountains. A quick walk can take you to sandy beach which is worth seeing or a 15 minute drive into Argastoli to see the famous turtles. Will be returning in the future.

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent - away from the bustle of the local town, surrounded by olive trees and very private. Yet, everything is within a short drive or a 15 minute walk. Joanne is a gracious and attentive host, available for questions as needed. The private pool and villa were wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!

Family Break

We stayed at Forget Me Not Villa with our two teenage boys. The villa itself has everything needed for a relaxing stay, lovely pool, bbq and plenty of space for all. The location was perfect, close to the airport and resorts. A car is useful to hire but plenty of activities close by that use of local transport would also be fine. Thank you to Joanne for welcoming us and being accommodating around our time of check in.

A lovely stay

We had a lovely week at the “Forget me not” villa. The pool is big for a private villa and the accommodation clean and comfortable. We had a car due to the mobility of some of our party, but if you are remotely fit you could walk from the airport to the villa and then walk to many restaurants and bars during your stay. There are two villas together, but privacy was not an issue. Joanne the owner was always a phone call away for any issues. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Never Forget Villas 2 and we will be very happy to come back. We can only confirm the above comments. And the lovely reception with the treats saved us from going to bed hungry when we arrived very late. Thank you very much Joanne. And we also really liked the island of Kefalonia, great nature, great beaches (also lonely ones), very nice people and delicious food

Beautiful villa

Just returned from a week in forget me not villa 2, we had a lovely relaxing stay. The villa is lovely and clean and well equipped with all you need. We didn’t hire a car which I would probably advise to do as it is about a 20 minute walk to the nearest restaurant and bar. We had a contact for a lovely taxi driver called Makis who took us anywhere for €25, bonus we could all enjoy a nice cold mythos or two ☺️ You can see the airport runway from the pool but the noise really doesn’t bother you. Joanne is a lovely host and really available for any questions or needs, thank you so much for an enjoyable stay in your beautiful villa.

Beautiful

Gorgeous, well maintained villa, beautiful setting with wonderful sea and mountain views, we enjoyed watching the planes land & take off, it wasn’t very noisy & the rest of the time it was so peaceful. Large garden and pool area, with plenty space, the sun beds are very comfortable as are the beds in the villa, we really appreciated being able to have every bed made up as a double. Amazing welcome pack, the best we have ever had. We arrived at 10pm, the kiosk near the airport was still open & the villa was really easy to find. It was brilliant bring a 5 minute drive from the airport, so convenient. Joanne is a lovely lady, very friendly and welcoming, communication with Joanne was very easy. We had an amazing family holiday, we love Kefalonia, the local people are so friendly and helpful and Greek food is totally delicious.

Lovely villa with pool

We stayed for one week in the end of June in the "Forget me not villa 2". The villa is pretty close to the airport - which is practical when you arrive. Joanne supplied us with a complimentary "welcome-basket" with some basic food - including a bottle of rose wine- which we really appreciated. The villa was just like the pictures. Nicely maintained and clean. The outside area was splendid - with a good size pool as well a shaded dining area. Don't worry too much about the close proximity to the airport. It's not that busy - so we were not bothered. You will need a car - and there are plenty of beaches and restaurants close by. We all enjoyed our week i Kefalonia and would love to come back to Villa Sarlata.

Forget Me Not 2

This is the second time we have stayed at Forget me Not Villas-we have been to both and the most recent was Forget Me Not 2 so we had a good idea of the location and the facilities. The communication with Joanne was excellent and when we had a slight plumbing issue she was able to fix it immediately. The Villas overlook the airport so there are obviously planes taking off and landing-it isn't a busy airport so we weren't concerned and the plus side is that it is just 5 minutes away from the airport so after a delayed flight it was great to have such a short journey. I would suggest that signs to the villa are put on the road junction ,both sides of the road, as there was a problem with the local taxi driver not being able to locate the villas and causing a 30m minute delay for the pick up. The Villa is very well equipped and I would be more than happy to stay here again. Thank you Joanne for such a lovely holiday in my favourite Greek Island. Steve Worsfold

Villa à kefalonia

La villa est comme indiquée dans l’annonce, très bien équipée, bonne literie et très bien située sur l’île , ce qui permet des visites à la journée ainsi bien au nord qu’au sud de l’île. Il y a juste un point qu’il faut connaître , la villa se trouve en bout de piste de décollage des avions. Il y a environs 20 vols par jours qui décollent sans parler des atterrissages. Donc pas de vis à vis , vue mer au loin avec la piste entre les deux. Pour être tout à fait sincère nous avons passé un bon moment mais la description de la Villa ne nous a semblé suffisamment précise. Par ailleurs la villa est mitoyenne avec une autre villa similaire. Thank you for your review of the villa .I am so glad that that you enjoyed your stay and liked the villa and it's beautiful gardens. As regards the airport. It clearly states that the airport is close and the villa is clearly marked on the map. Νo one has booked the villa before without checking the location and information of the villa and you seem to have been unaware of it's location . Almost all reviews have mentioned the airport also and none negatively. Most guests love the convienence and the fact that the villa is not bordered by noisy bars or other hotels but is in fact in the olive groves. Guests seeking to book usually read the reviews and can always ask questions if unsure before using instant book. Thank you again for booking the villa though and I am glad that you enjoyed your stay.

Hervorragende Villa mit Pool in guter Lage

Die Villa ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand und sehr großzügig. Der Pool ist zur Alleinnutzung und ebenfalls sehr schön. Zusätzlich hat man einen schönen Blick Richtung Meer. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet für Erkundigungen Richtung Argostoli, Richtung Süden und hin zur Ostküste. Dass der Flughafen unterhalb liegt, sollte man schon wissen, aber man befindet sich nicht in der Einflugschneise sondern seitlich. Und so viele Bewegungen gibt es auch wieder nicht, uns hat es nicht gestört. Alles in allem ein perfekter Aufenthalt mit einer herrlichen Begrüßung inkl. Frühstückspaket. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeberin.

FORGET-ME-NOT 2, SARLATA

Our sixth visit to Cephalonia and a lovely property, the second best we have had. Really convenient location and close to the airport. The plane noise was not intrusive and it was interesting watching the take-offs and landings. Downside was that the upstairs shower room was very small. Cleaning could have been better - items left under the beds and a few cobwebs.

The Villa was simply amazing , clean , private and great location !

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa it was spacious and private loved the pool loved the balconies and the view great location close to many towns and the city as well as the airport loved to watch the planes take off and land they are no bother with the noise at all. Joanne left us a little basket of local goodies for breakfast snacks we appreciated so much. Great for families And friends And we each have our space and Private balcony would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to Come Back again ! I will always remember Forget me Not Villa. !! Regards from All of us !

Relaxing Stay

We had a great holiday and the villa was lovely. Everything was as described with 3 good sized bedrooms all with double beds and a well equipped kitchen and a lovely patio where we enjoyed many meals. We spent most of our time by the large infinity swimming pool relaxing on the padded sun beds drinking in the sea view and glorious sun. If there was a slight downside, yes the villa is near the airport and yes there is some noise, but not excessive and we are sensitive about peace and quiet on holiday. The owners are lovely and couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect and we will return.

Wonderful break!

The villa is a 5 minute drive from the airport, tucked away down a quiet track. Don't let proximity to the airport put you off - it's a small island airstrip with very few daily flights. From the villa it's an easy 10 minute drive in to Lassi for restaurants and the wonderful Costa Costa beach club. And it's a great base from which to explore the island. As we arrived late on our first evening, I very much appreciated the starter pack of local goodies Joanne left for us. The pool and garden were great and everything in the villa well laid out. The week flew by and we were sad to go. A perfect week of escape from 2020!!

Wonderful Villa

Our Forget Me Not Villa was precisely as advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks. The Villa provided a wonderful base for exploring the Island and was minutes from the airport, which made our arrival and departure so easy. Ammes beach and a number of restaurants were a 20 minute walk away and Argostoli a easy 20 minute drive. Joanne was terrific and made a great effort to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. We will definitely return

Paradise from Home

A wonderful stay with real customer care from the very start to the very end. The property was wonderful and the highlight of the weeks holiday. Everything catered for and exceptional clean. The weather and scenery also stunning around the pool area or from the balconies of the villa. Joanne made us most welcome and even with a gift for our Daughters 11th birthday along with a wonderful meal and surprise birthday cake in the evening at Kayani Akti. The whole experience truly memorable for our family and resembles a quality property for your stay. Keep up the great work and look forward to returning again.
