Spacious, beautiful luxury home - short walk to the beach
A beautiful, spacious home suitable for families and discerning friends. The detached property is superbly maintained, warm and very comfortable with a short walk through a wooded chine to the wonderful beaches of Sandbanks in Poole and Bournemouth and The Purbecks. The kitchen is well-equipped with two ovens, halogen hob, microwave and there is a separate laundry room with a washing machine and a drier. Towels and beach towels are provided. Outside there is a paved, enclosed garden to the rear, with gas bbq, garden furniture. On site parking and plenty of on road parking. The house is in BH13, an exclusive area of Branksome Park with a delightful walk through a wooded chine to the beaches. Well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional fee.
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house that oozed a wonderful charming positive energy. The location was perfect, the space was so much bigger than in the pictures and the house was super cosy as well as being really well kitted out with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this property for your stay without hesitation.
We had a great stay, some hot water problems due to new system not set up correctly but was resolved. Lovely house, very nice host, and everything as good as it could have been.
Superb family holiday home near Branksome Chine Poole
This was our first holiday in Poole and we loved it. So much to do for all age groups, Oceanarium, Indoor climbing centre, paddle boarding, long beach walks on Branksome Chine and Poole beaches and ferry crossings to Studland. Branksome Chine is an easy 15 minute walk from there home location. Kimm our house host was very attentive and the house was perfect for a family of 9 with plenty of space for chilling out and large and comfortable bedrooms. We had a superb holiday and definitely repeateable.
We were very happy with the property, condition, location and amenities were all good. Worked perfectly for family and friends. The property actually sleeps ten. If there is any criticism to make, for our long stay we needed more fridge/freezer space but perfectly adequate for short stays. Lovely walk to beautiful dog friendly beaches very close by. We did have the added benefit of perfect weather for the whole month, presumably carefully orchestrated by the very amenable owner of the property!! I would highly recommend, a lovely location for a family holiday
We had a wonderful stay at this stunning house. Fifteen minutes walk from a lovely golden sand beach and in a peaceful residential area it is in a great location. Moreover the house is filled with beautiful artworks and decorations, as well as dozens of fascinating books and a collection of interesting musical percussion instruments ( very much enjoyed by children big and small)! The kitchen is well equipped and all rooms and bathrooms are spacious and beautifully presented. The garden was also inviting, and offered a decked area and gas barbecue as well as lawn. The owner had left a hamper of goodies and full instructions as well as tips re local area. The only minor inconvenience was that the bed in the single bedroom is small both width and lengthwise and was unsuitable for taller members of our party, so this affected bedroom allocation.
Overall I would highly recommended this beautiful house for a holiday stay and very much hope to return again.
Excellent property and suited our needs perfectly. We were attending a wedding at nearby Compton Acres so location was perfect. The house was clean and well furnished. The welcome pack was superb. If only we could have had more time. Lovely walk down to the beach. Totally recommend this property.
We stayed at this luxurious property for a week and had a fantastic time. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen/ conservatory is a wonderful area. 15 minutes to the beach from a nice quiet location. Kimm was also a great host - thoroughly recommend.
I am a writer, yoga teacher healer and I am involved in charities in Nepal, Peru and India so travel a great deal. I have had a connection to this area for 30 years and bought a holiday home here 17 years ago in Christchurch and decided to make the area my main home in 2016 when I bought this house. I am working on a novel based in Greece and have just finished a children's book.
You may like to know that a large percentage of the funds raised from renting out my house will go to support mysmallhelp.org in Nepal, Welfare for Animals in Goa and various other charities, with my main areas of focus supporting women and girls in education in India and Peru and animal charities across the world.
It is beautiful, homely, light and quiet but close to the beach and all the amenities, A ten minute walk to Westbourne for local shops and restaurants. spacious, calm and a great race for relaxing and entertaining too.
