Wonderful gite within easy walking distance of Domme. Our children loved the pool and garden.
Lovely responsive hosts greeted us on arrival and were on hand for questions and advice.
Highly recommended
Our family holiday at Les Jonquilles was as special and perfect as always. This was our third time staying at this beautiful gite and we would love to go back again. Pam and Glynn are fabulous hosts and the amazing accommodation is so well equipped and maintained. We enjoyed our daily walk into the beautiful town of Domme, with its stunning views, fabulous shops and there are plenty of great places to eat and drink. You must get an ice cream from Glacier Fabricant Lambert, and take in the stunning views overlooking the Dordogne.
A canoe trip is a must. Visit Sarlat, and Chateau de Castelnaud is a favourite. Les Jonquilles is the perfect place to stay in order to see all the area has to offer.
This is a lovely property very well run by Pam and Glyn. They were attentive to our needs. Renting the gite and one guest room worked very well for our family of six. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet and the pool after a hot day of seeing the local sites.
We are Pam and Glyn and from Wales, we have always loved France and had holidays here since 1978. Our hobbies are walking, cycling and meeting people. We have a large family, three children and eight grand children.
Our property is in a wonderful quiet location yet only a short walk to our local village of Domme. Most of the popular tourist destinations are within a 45 minute drive and the river Dordogne is a short distance away. Sarlat La Caneda is only 14km away and is very popular with tourists because of it's medieval town centre.
If you require a quiet location then this is it, yet we are only a fifteen minute walk to the beautiful bastide town of Domme with it's panoramic views over the Dordogne valley.
