Apartment 9 is a recently modernised, large, spacious first floor family apartment for up to 6 people.
The living room and bathroom are south facing with a bright, sunny aspect. The separate bedroom and kitchen are east facing overlooking the guest garden and with views to Torquay. The apartment has Upvc casement double glazed windows throughout. The living room has a pull down wall (Murphy) double bed,sofa,two armchairs,coffee table,side table and dresser.There is a colour television with Freeview channels,DVD player and hairdryer.Off the living area is an alcove with double bed,two bedside cabinets,chest of drawers and wardrobe.There is a separate bedroom with two single beds,bedside cabinet,chest of drawers,wardrobe and colour t.v. with Freeview channels and built in DVD player.The kitchen is fully fitted with breakfast bar,portable drop leaf dining table with chairs,full size cooker, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and full range of cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils.The bathroom has a Triton shower unit and w.c. as well as a separate w.c. We supply our guests with a welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits and for children a fruit drink and biscuits.Heating is available via oil filled electric radiators and fan heater (all year) and night storage heating(beginning of November to end of March).
Please note the following additional costs that could be incurred which would be paid for separately on or before arrival.
Electricity operates via a ÂŁ1 coin meter in the apartment.
Bed linen (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcases) can be hired at ÂŁ6.00 per bed per week.
Towels (bath and hand) can be hired at ÂŁ3.00 per set per week.
Cots, mattresses (no bedding) and high chairs are available at ÂŁ6.00 per set per week.
Alternatively guests are welcome to bring their own linen, towels, cots and high chairs.
Well behaved pets are welcome at ÂŁ22.00 per pet per week or part thereof with a discount for three or more pets.
The distinguished detached property was built in 1902 and is set in its own spacious grounds which include a large secure guest garden with a range of childrenâs play equipment and a large off street private car park.
The child and pet friendly building comprises thirteen fully furnished and equipped self-catering apartments ranging in size from studios to two bedrooms and sleeping from one to seven guests. There is considerable flexibility in the accommodation to enable us to meet most requirements as well as the important little extras such as onsite laundry facilities, free upgraded WiFi service, book library, board games and beach equipment for guests use.
Broadshade is located in the quiet and popular Roundham residential area away from high traffic routes but still within just five minutes walk of the beaches, town centre and harbour.
There is also good access to the South Devon Expressway (A380) and local bus and rail stations within walking distance which make exploring the English Riviera, Dartmoor and South Devon very easy.
