Welcome to our charming 2 bed second floor apartment is in the popular costal town of Torrevieja and is within a 10 min walk to the beach. It has access to a communal pool and just a few minutes walk to restaurant/ bars.

Accommodation:-

The apartment sleeps 4 and has a lounge with an open plan well equipped kitchen. It has 2 double bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with 2 single beds.

There is a good size family bathroom with a walk in shower and a utility room with washing machine and microwave.

All rooms have celling/ floor fans and there is air conditioning in the living room/ kitchen. There is also heating.

Leading off the lounge you have a east facing balcony (not over looking pool) a perfect spot for outdoor dining.

Free Wifi
TV with english/ International channels, including sports and movies. There is also Netfix and amazon with a DVD player.
Free on street parking.

The apartment itself is part of the Villas Del Mar II gated complex which boasts a large communal swimming pool and plenty of space to sunbath. It’s alleys and stairways decorated with colourful tiles offers views which will fill your eyes with vivid colours. You will be intoxicated by the blue of its swimming pool surrounded by a pleasant garden.

Location & Surrounding Area:-

As soon as you leave the complex there are bars and restaurants right on your doorstep.

The apartment is only 650 meters from Playa del cura beach and the promenade where you will find plenty of estaurants and bars. You will find everything you could possibly need in terms of services and amenities are within easy reach.

Alicante airport is just 40 km away and is about a 40 min drive. A taxi rank and a bus station with regular services to Alicante airport are just a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

There is a 24 hour convenience shop close by and Torrevieja's main shopping high street and supermarkets are only a few minutes away.

Every Friday there is a colourful street market less than 2 minutes walk from the apartment, with hundreds of stalls selling textiles, clothing, interior design, crafts, footwear, fruit and veg, meat and horticultural produce at very reasonable prices.

Torrevieja is a bustling seaside town and a popular destination for holidaymakers. The beaches of Torrevieja are fantastic and boasts a promenade which is an ideal place to relax all year round. There is an abundance of amenities to hand including bars, restaurants, banks, shops and supermarkets.

Stayed here with my girlfriend - loved the swimming pool, the location. It was warm in the appartment but there are plenty of fans to keep the rooms cool 😎 I can recommend staying here- everything we needed was there! Thank you Lee and co

Nice clean apartment in quiet area. Everything within 10 minute walk. Friendly neighbourhood. Local bar/ restaurants good. Overall a nice 2 week. Host always on hand. Thank you.

Great apartment

The apartment was modern with extras such as beach chairs to use at the pool or beach,Amazon stick and dvd player,also beach towels as well as normal towels.beds were comfortable and everything you needed for a self catering stay was there.location was great beach at the bottom of the road and numerous bars and restaurants and consume supermarkets within 5 minutes walk best bar was called The Phoenix with good prices for drinks and food,also La Bogedia cafe is a great little place.we would definitely be back.

could be very good but due to misuse by previous holidaymakers left a little to be desired in the aesthetics of the apartment. Cleanliness also left a little to be desired eg the ceiling fan blades were very dirty and unusable due to switch chains being broken, and both bedroom floors were uncleanable as the beds had under mattress storage and were too heavy for a cleaner to lift or move. We managed to lift the single beds but not the large double. The balcony balustrade is in need of replacement (breaking up). This review is for the eyes of Lee and not for general viewing. We had a good time as always in Torrevieja and loved the apartments location.

Thanks for the review Andrew, It’s much appreciated. It’s a shame you didn’t contact us whilst you were staying there as we could have sorted some of these out. We have checked the fan and it works without the chains. When we clean the floors we have to take the stuff out to move the beds. We are aware of the balustrades and are planning on replacing them soon. We are glad you had a good time though. Thanks again.

Review

The truth is, nearly everything worked perfectly, television, aircon, washing machine, plus the flat was very well located. I guess the main problem was that the flat wasn't very clean. The shower curtain was moldy at the bottom and the water didn't go down the drain (we had to plunge it). There was an extractor fan in the bathroom, but it was full of dust. There was also a gas tank for cooking and showering, so we were a bit nervous that it might run out. As we have lived in Spain a long time, we know what it's like when you have shampoo in your hair and suddenly the gas tank runs dry.

Thank you for the review, we appreciate your feedback. Its a shame you didn’t mention these things when you were staying there as they could havre easily been resolved for you. These have now been looked into and put right. The boiler provides the hot water for the shower, so there wouldn’t be any worries about not having any hot water. The gas bottle is only for the hob and if this runs out there is another one to replace it. We are sorry about these couple of things but glad you liked everything else.

A few issues

It was spotless and very well stocked with dishes and cutlery et .The balcony needs to ve upgraded. The market that is advertised is no longer there. U need to get a bus to it if u dont have a car. The location is in a very quiet residential part of townwhich is very safe.unfortuntaly if any obe has any mobilty issues there is alot of walking to get around town if u dont have a car. I would say utsa 20 minute walk to the beach and the sane for tge supermarkets.there is a small convience store 5 minutes away that sells the basics. .a few nice resturants in the town but again i found that there is a fair bit of walking to get anywhere which could cause problems with anyone with mobility issues.there r buses that run thru town but its a bit hRd trying to figure out bus routes..overall the apartment was nice .the. marina and harbour are stunning with lots of resturants .there is a nice britush pub just steps from the apartment but u dont hear any noise.the pool arear is lovely .the bus station is a 20 minute walk but the buses from there go into allicante and other towns.the apartment complex is very safe .

Des cafards dans l'appartement

Le grand souci était la présence des cafards dans l'appartement. Ils étaient dans toutes les pièces. Il y avait des cocons et des restes de cafards morts dans certains endroits et sur le lit où j'ai dormi. J'ai pris des photos. J'en ai parlé à Mme Judith et elle m'a dit que c'est normal en Espagne et m'a demandé d'acheter un produit contre les cafards; c'est ce que j'ai fait. J'en ai mis un peu partout dans l'appartement. Les rideaux dans le salon étaient sales et vieux, la couverture sur le canapé était tachée et les coussins sur le canapé étaient aussi sales. Un deuxième souci était les bruits des travaux (perceuse , ..etc) chez un voisin tous les jours sauf le weekend du 8h30 du matin au 18h00. Mais bon ce n'est pas la faute à l'appartement. L'emplacement de l'appartement est très bon et le quartier est calme. Il y a des restaurants et des bars dans le quartier. Il y a une piscine dans la résidence, mais il a fait assez froid le mois de janvier pour pouvoir l'utiliser. Tel qu'il est, je ne recommanderais pas l'appartement. Si les problèmes de propreté et des cafards sont résolus, je le recommanderais.

Nous sommes désolés d'apprendre ces choses. L'appartement a été soigneusement nettoyé avant votre arrivée et il n'y avait aucune trace de cafard. Ceux-ci doivent être apparus lors de votre séjour. Nous avons d'autres personnes qui y séjournent maintenant et on nous a dit que tout allait bien. La piscine n'est pas chauffée comme annoncé. Nous examinerons les autres choses que vous avez mentionnées. Merci.

Excellent séjour

L’appartement est idéalement situé: proche de la plage et des commerces. La piscine de la résidence est parfaite et sous la surveillance d’un maître nageur qui règne à la tranquillité de chacun. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, c’était parfait.

Perfect pad

We were a party of four and the price was just excellent. The flat is within 10 minutes of the beach ,which is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a tapas,and a beer/coffee at very reasonable prices. A cheap Consume 5 minutes away ,and bread and milk 1 minute ,and the bars on the end of the block are very welcoming. The flat is very comfortable and very well equipped, YOU CAN'T FAIL to have a great time.
