Everything was okay and the condo was very clean. However, we noticed that a few of the dishes were dirty, the dishwasher was not working properly. We did report this to Jamie. Nothing was done during our stay. The mattresses were old and very uncomfortable. The mattress on the sofa bed was stained on both sides.Perhaps the unit could use some updating.

Great condo in a nice location!

We loved that this condo was in a nice location with just a short walk to the beach. It was about a three minute walk to the water, which was great! We also enjoyed that it was farther down the island so we were away from most of the hustle and bustle and it was not as crowded as the more popular part of the island. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great Little Getaway!

The stay here was very nice. Everything was clean and we were both very comfortable. The property was very quiet, pool was nice for nightly swims. I would definitely recommend staying here! Only caution is be careful how much you pack lol. I am an over packer and we had to carry everything up 3 flights of stairs...other than that property is very close to the beach and very beautiful!

Springtime South Padre Island Vacation

We were very happy with our last minute vacation to South Padre Island. May is a great time to visit. The weather was great and not too busy. Our condo was very clean and in a great location with a 5 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and the accomodations were like the photos online. The host was great to work with. Our favorite part was the large balcony with a great view for drinking our morning coffee. We highly recommend this condo for a small family.

Exactly what we needed

Easy to rent. We have two dogs, they allowed 2 dogs. Property was nice. Looked just like the pictures on line. A super short walk to the beach. Already talking about coming back.

This condo was a short walk to the beach. It provided everything we needed and was very comfortable. The pool was cold but it was also December. Thank you for the last minute approval!!

Overall Great Stay

Had a miscommunication but it was fixed by a nice representative... Manager was Rude but the representative was very nice and helpful....i recommend this apartment it was very comfortable...

We normally stay beachside, so in honesty, we were somewhat skeptical of the closeness to beach access...the walk ended up being only 2-3 minutes!!! In consideration of the affordability, you cannot go wrong with this location. The condo was clean, quiet, in a great location in regard to the beach and other island activities, and having your own washer/dryer was a game-changer!

Every thing was good except the 3rd floor have hard time climbing. Maybe this should be a question asked before you book.

The place was physically clean and cozy. It was very close to the beach. Just know it is on the 3rd floor. They do require a refundable deposit if you haven't booked with them before. You won't be able to fit 2 full size SUVs in the parking space since you have to park behind each other. At best you can fit 1 full size and 1 mid size vehicle. Both beds may need to be replaced soon. The king size bed has deep and wide indentations in the mattress from them being worn out (I'm dinging a star for this). Lastly, once you enter the condo, it has an odor like it used to be smoked in at one point (I'm dinging a star for this as well). Overall the stay wasn't too bad, but we weren't really comfortable because of the beds, but at least the beach was close by.

SPI location location

Location, location, location! If you’re looking for ease to the beach, avoid driving to local restaurants/bars, and a cozy place to rest when recovering from the sun this is the place. The condo came with everything you need minus beach chairs and towels. But we were prepared as we received an email with all the information with what to bring and what was already in place. Would book again and return!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great! A short 5 minute walk to the beach. The complex itself looks rundown and somewhat dumpy. The unit was mostly clean (some dishes and cutlery needed additional washing) and the furniture was old and dated. Overall, it met our requirements but we will not stay at this rental again.
