Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lacking space to hang towels. Lacking bath mat and hand towels. Very clean. No good info on how we were going to be texted on door codes and “click on” instructions for checking out. I had to call to figure that out. Response to calls was excellent. Patio was a tall small walled in space. No grill.

Babymoon!

We had a great time here on our babymoon. This is so close to everything! We couldn't be happier with our trip. We had everything we needed in the condo and if we needed extra supplies, the store, restaurants and shopping were in walking distance. Will be coming back in the future.

Simple and clean

We needed an easy place to stay for a wedding. This place was very clean, great hot water and pressure, and close to everything on the island.

Cottage Rental at 523 South Station St. Port Aransas, TEXAS

Where do I start? TV was not connected to the net; Internet was not connected and after calling the office they send a technician. Very nice guy but he couldn't connect into the net. He said that they had problems with the network and wouldn't be available until Sunday. Tried to connect it using the net from the next cottage, but he couldn't. We ended up missing out on the College games and we watched old episodes of BULL through Roku on Ion Plus. My wife was planning on working on her PC, but she could not connect to the internet. Finally, the place was not very clean. My wife found four little cockroaches in the bathroom, and she had to call for more towels and a blanket. She is going to contact the office on Monday to request a refund of one night.

Nice, clean studio/cottage.

This property met our need. We were in town for an event and needed a nice clean place to sleep, eat on the run and relax at the end of the evening. The cottage was great. Only areas for recommended improvement are a need for a corner shelving unit or wall unit above the toilet to sit your toiletries eyc. The pedestal sink and toilet lid did not provide enough space. The bed was a 6 out of ten . It was firm which is good, but hard with no flexibility/cushion to it. Also a bit noisy with any movement. Lastly, an extra blanket would be nice. The place was well appointed and super clean. Overall a great experience.

Perfect Little Getaway

Perfect distance from the beach. Rented a golf cart and were able to be at the beach within just a few minutes. Super cute property also. Will definitely be back!

Everything You Need

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for about a week for the 4th of July, and it was perfect! I drive a truck so the small parking lot wasn't ideal, but the proximity to the beach more than made up for it. This felt bigger than expected and was equipped with everything we needed for a week long stay. The size didn't bother us and in my opinion is manageable for 2 people. The kitchen was fully stocked and the dresser provided enough space for our clothes and belongings for the full week. The bathroom is pretty small so we got creative and used a kitchen drawer for our toiletries and carried them over when we needed them. Everything was very clean, the AC and appliances worked great, and we didn't experience any issues aside from a roach slipping in through the front door on our third night - they sort of swarm at night in the gravel out front but we kept them away with the porch light.More than anything, we enjoyed that we were walking distance away from the beach, local nightlife, coffee shops, gas stations, and grocery stores. Some of our favorites were the lattes at Coffee Waves, bar hopping through karaoke at the Salty Dog Saloon, watching the fireworks and enjoying prickly pear margs from Bier Haus, the sunset dolphin cruse at Deep Sea Headquarters, and visiting the Texas State Aquarium (about a 45 minute drive into Corpus Christi, but SO worth it).I didn't interact too much with the property management other than to call and confirm we were booked because the confirmation email took 1 business day and I panicked (lol), but they were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend booking directly through the Port A Escapes website for the best price, and they offered us an extra day at a discounted rate.Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

3day stay

Great little unit to land after beach and between exploring. The maintenance guy was great and helped us figure out the stove had been unplugged probably by cleaning people? Lol it was a great cottage and had plenty of dishes and things to help us enjoy being there.

Walk to the beach, to the store or eatery. It’s all nearby. The cottage is only suitable for a couple or single. No room for kids and no play area or pool. Just a room with a kitchen. The property was clean and well equipped which was much appreciated. The floor were not clean which is our only real complaint. But keep in mind that it is difficult to have clean floor in a beach rental. We certainly didn’t make a big deal of it. The management is responsive and prompt. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway!

We just came for the weekend and the it was perfect for the two of us. Decorated beautifully and very comfortable! We walked to the beach, plenty of restaurants around us. We will be back!
