La cabane est située au milieu d'une montagne, elle offre une vue imprenable sur un étang approvisionné en truites privées et à seulement quelques miles 3 du castor et à proximité des deux branches du Delaware. Certains des meilleurs pêcheurs à la mouche de ce côté du fleuve Mississippi. À seulement 6 miles de Roscoe, également connue sous le nom de ville de la truite aux États-Unis. Roscoe est une ville pittoresque avec des magasins d'antiquaires et des bons bars et restaurants. Je suis également à 16 km du réservoir de pepacton, où se trouvent les meilleures pêcheries de truite brune et de bar à petite bouche. Les bateaux peuvent être loués au magasin de sport als à downsville pour le réservoir ou il loue des canoës afin que vous puissiez faire du canoë sur la branche est immaculée du Delaware, il fournit tout l'équipement nécessaire et voyage après votre voyage La cabine a 20 ans et est décorée comme une orvis Les murs et le plafond endossés sont en pin tounge et la cuisine à rainures est un plan d'étage ouvert vers le salon et le poêle à bois. Il y a 2 chambres avec lits queen et un loft avec un canapé et une télévision pour que les enfants puissent jouer à des jeux vidéo s'ils ne sont pas fatigués par toutes les activités de plein air. Il y a une balançoire et un toboggan sur la propriété pour les tout-petits et un immense foyer qui peut accueillir 12 personnes avec beaucoup de bois coupé canapé dans la grande salle. les plafonds sont cathédrale un mur plein de verre avec une grande exsporure sud. La porte d'entrée est un curseur Pella qui s'ouvre sur une immense terrasse avec des chaises et une table adirondack pour 4 personnes près de l'étang.Il y a une balançoire adirondack pour se détendre et écouter le flux d'eau dans l'étang depuis la source naturelle. Tous les appareils sont neufs et l'endroit est impeccable

Awesome place!

I rented this cabin for my husband and his brother for a weekend of fly fishing and they loved it! Mike (the owner) accommodated them when I call cor a last minute change and sent many insights on places to eat and check out. We would definitely rent this place again!

Fantastic solitude

Mike's place is really quite amazing - the isolation and solitude on the property are hard to come by (you won't see or hear anyone else) and perfect for unwinding, decompressing, and going deep. The property itself is gorgeous - perfect blend of wildness and cultivated areas - and the cabin is super comfortable and an enjoyable place to spend time inside or out. Highly recommended!

Clean, private, everything you need for a great getaway! Can't wait for a return trip!

The property is very well kept and clean. We spent both evenings and nights by the private pond and the fire pit on the property. Mike (the owner) was very helpful before our trip giving us advice and local places to visit/explore. The cabin is very close to Roscoe as well as great fishing nearby. The cabin has everything you need so pack light especially if you do not own an SUV... the access road to the cabin is quite steep and can be a challenge for a front wheel drive to handle. We opted for an option to park at the top of the property and walk down which is a 5 to 10 minute walk so you want to make sure you don't have to carry a lot of gear and make multiple trips. I highly recommend this cabin especially if you're looking for a private and quiet getaway! The owner is very receptive to all your questions and concerns so don't hesitate to contact him. Thanks Mike for letting us enjoy your home away from home!

Great getaway

This is an amazing cabin on what seems like your very own mountain. Secluded and beautiful with everything you need especially for our family of four. Play ground with plenty of space to run around, camp fire pit and a small pond to sit by. Plenty of wide open space surrounded by woods and beautiful views. The house is very spacious and kept extremely clean and well maintained. The two bedrooms are very comfortable and a nice size and the loft area is a great space we used a lot playing board games and relaxing. We were lucky enough to meet the owner Mike who couldn't be a nicer guy who showed us around. It really shows how much pride he has in his place by the way he maintains it and speaks about it. We really loved our weekend away from it all and highly recommend it to anyone else looking for the same. Thanks again Mike and hopefully we'll be able to come back in the future for another great trip.

Isolation at its best

We had an amazing trip in nature and exploring the property. The kids enjoyed the freedom, bonfires, stargazing and quiet nights. Perfect central area for exploring the towns and fishing.

Great spot for ultimaterelaxation

We stayed at Mike's cabin during the peak of fall colors in Sullivan County and it was beyond beautiful. We were attracted to the listed due to the privacy and the property delivered. It's quiet, secluded and everything you want in a retreat. The house was clean, stocked well for essentials and just as advertised. Mike was a great host as well, texting with recommendations, and answering all questions quickly and clearly. We hope to get back again, and again as this truly is a great location - close to lots of fishing, hiking and all the area has to offer, while giving you the quiet time you need to recharge.

Another Great Weekend!

We had another great weekend at Mike's cabin. It is so nice to check-out for awhile and recharge in the peaceful seclusion of this property. Weather has hit & miss this time, but it was still a great all-around trip. Look forward to heading back again in the future. Thanks again Mike!

Great secluded cabin in a grest location.

The cabin is spacious, well appointed and has all the amenities. Mike is super helpful, knowledgeable and readily available. The cabin would be good for any family but especially apt for fly fisherman as it is located very close to the great trout streams in the Catskills. And there is a pond full of lovely brookies. One caution you need an all wheel drive for the steep and rocky driveway.

Pleasant, quiet, secluded, surrounded by nothing but nature

This cabin is a perfect place to get away. It's super quiet and secluded, surrounded only by the woods and the mountains. Owner was helpful with lots of hints. (thanks!) Place is clean and comfy, with just enough rustic feel and lots of cool decor. You can be as active as you like; fish and hike, or take nice walks and enjoy the fire pit! There are regular chipmunk and tiny frog visitors, and one night we heard foxes in the woods. Dinner cooked nicely on the Weber grill. All four in our party really enjoyed our time and it was worth every penny.

A slice of heaven - very peaceful

There's something really special about this place. The road in is a little intimidating - but Mike gives sufficient advice about this. We got lucky with incredible weather - my son (6) got to practice his fishing technique in the pond, we sat for hours by the fire pit. The kids (3 and 6 yr old) exhausted their energy on the playground and exploring the surrounding woods. We all slept great every night. It was the perfect place to recharge and reconnect with nature.

Great getaway

Super peaceful cabin in the mountains. Ideal if you want to get away and off the grid for a few days. My wife and I spent several days here with our twin toddlers and we had a ton of fun on the property and spent a lot of time cooking and relaxing (more so when the kids were napping, obviously). Mike was a great host, kept in constant contact when we needed him or had a question. Very glad we stayed here!

Beautiful cabin in the woods!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin on the side of a mountain in the woods! It was so peaceful; just what we were looking for. It was the perfect setting to sit back and relax.

My friends and I had a perfect weekend getaway from the city at Mike's cabin. As the other reviews rave, the cabin is a cozy, secluded haven and Mike is readily available to answer any questions and make sure you have a great stay. Oh and the scenery is astounding.

Beautiful Getaway

This beautiful cabin was the perfect getaway. It was clean and inviting, a cozy place to just relax and unwind. The host was excellent and very prompt with answering our question and providing suggestions for things to do in the area. The cabin decor was lovely. This property was great for staying in or reading a book on the open deck, looking out into the trees, the wildlife and connecting with nature. We loved the peaceful quietness of this place. The area also has outdoor fun to offer, we went for a hike nearby, where we enjoyed ponds and an amazing waterfall. The town has many other places to enjoy, plenty of dining options and we even picked up some delicious sweet corn on the side of the road, to BBQ back at the property!! On our last night thanks to all the thoughtful details and places to relax at the cabin, we sat by the adirondack chairs and gazed at the stars, it was stunning!! This place was a true gem.

Private cabin that exceeds expectations.

I can not say enough good things about this experience! I have rented many vacation homes and this host was, hands down, the best communicator; this property is well thought out and clean, and all of the local recommendations were spot on. I am already telling family and friends they need to go there for a getaway.

Perfect Socially Distant Getaway

It was such a gift to find Mike’s beautiful cabin surrounded by nature. We walked into a clean, welcoming place. The house smells great, and everything is clean. If you have indoor allergies and asthma like me, this is a great choice. I felt right at home cooking and enjoying the nature. We made friends with an adorable chipmunk (named him Chips Ahoy) that lives in the rocks near the deck. We enjoyed watching him while we sat on the deck. If you need the solitude, you’ll find it here. I can’t recommend this property enough. Mike was so helpful, too. It’s wonderful to feel so well taken care of on your visit!

Great Weekend!

AMAZING

We spent a wonderful 3 days in Mike's cabin. The place is beautiful and the surroundings are just amazing. Mike is so kind, responsive, and just so caring. His cabin is clearly a work of love, you will have everything you need to connect with your loved ones and with nature. Highly recommend. Would definitively come back!

I'm a outdoorsman who loves to fish I like peace and quiet and time to relax after my hectic days in New York City all the 5 rivers nearby and also go on drift boat trips with the local Guides up there a few times a year the property is very secluded where you can seat in a adirondack chair and drink your coffee and listen to all the birds before you start your day

You will not find a more sun drenched relaxing place that's close to everything near Roscoe there's nothing like coming back to a warm cabin after a day of exploring all the Catskills have to offer

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

You will not see a neighbor or anybody while at my place. I purchased the whole mountain and had a road cut in and had the house put right in the middle of the property I also had the natural spring turned into a beautiful pond that I stock with rainbow and brown trout so if you don't wanna leave the cabin and still wanna caught trout you can do it on your own oasis
