This was our third time staying here. 5 minute drive to the main area of town. 2 minute walk to the golf course to watch the Elkhart had moved down from the mountain and taken over the golf course. Lots of wildlife in the area. The house is always clean and has everything we needed. I'm sure we will be coming back again next year.
This home is well equipped, clean, and spacious. The owner notified me we could check in early without our even asking, which was quite thoughtful. The main area has many windows, and we were able to see several elk in the yard and even very close to the house. The kitchen is well equipped. Thank you!
Great Vibes! Everywhere you look there's interesting art, even outside. House was super clean and inviting, lots of places to sit and relax. Kitchen is well stocked for preparing and serving food with a big fridge. Comfortable beds. Location is great, quiet neighborhood with lots of separation between neighbors. Mike was kind enough to let us know we could check in early on our scheduled arrival day.
This home was perfect for our family getaway! The cleanliness and decor of the home deserve to be recognized. Plenty of room for our family of seven. Very welcoming environment! The location was perfectly located near all of the activities we wanted to do. The view was nice and we were able to see deer and elk near the patio! We could not have asked for a better host.I highly recommend staying at this home. We plan to book this same home again in 2026.
We had a great time staying at this house! It is located in a very quiet neighborhood which is fantastic. It has very nice cookware and had all that was needed to make nice meals. House is beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, plenty of inside seating for eating and for relaxing, and a great spot outside to hang out. If we come back to this area in the future, I will definitely book this house again!
This house was so beautiful. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We filled it up with 8 adults, and had plenty of room. The grounds were beautiful too. Highly recommend this place!
We went for Elk Fest and this is the place to stay! The bull elk bugled all around us. At one point a herd of 40 or so bedded down behind the house for the afternoon shade. We could watch them out the bedroom and kitchen windows. A fabulous experience for us native Coloradans and our out-of-state visitors.Extremely well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture and bedding. We grilled and picniced. Lots of windows to let in the views. Perfectđ
Overall our stay was great. Kitchen was fully stocked, comfortable beds and beautiful views. The owner allowed early check in which was also great. We did encounter an issue with a bathroom sink that made it un usable. We reported it to the owner but did not get a response. We also thought that there would
have been firewood for the fireplace but there was not so plan to bring your own if you want to have a fire.
Mike's home was perfect for our long weekend stay in Estes Park to celebrate our son's wedding. It was prestine and spacious, equipped with all the amenities that we needed, as well as beautiful views and the occasional wildlife.
We hope to return to Estes Park to enjoy the outdoor activities that it has to offer and would definitely stay at Mike's home again.
This was a lovely home in every way. We had plenty of room for our group of 7. The home was clean and we enjoyed the art, the layout of the home, and outside surroundings. Excellent experience!
Great property. The artwork was very nice and appreciated. Please note that there is not air conditioning in the house which really wasnât a big deal considering we were gone all day and the house cooled off nicely at night.
We relocated to Colorado from Dallas, TX in 1999. My wife and I met in Dallas and were heading to Colorado about 4 times a year so we finally decided to move there. We chose Estes Park to start and then decided where we wanted to live permanently and we fell in love with the community and the area and decided to stay. It is a great place to visit.
We remodeled the house when we purchased it in 2004. We used sustainable materials and opened up the main living areas and added lots of windows so you really feel like you are in the mountains when you stay here. Lots of wildlife to view as well.
