**Pool Details:
Indoor Pool: Daily 8 am-10 pm , Outdoor Pools: Open for swimming and sunning from Mid April through late October 8 am -10 pm, weather permitting. In the case of thunder, both indoor and outdoor pools close for a half hour after the thunder passes.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES DUE AT CHECK IN:
Resort Fee: $20 per day (not per person, per day)
Resort Fee includes WiFi, business center, indoor pool, racquet ball, tennis and boarding pass printing. Plus access to all other onsite amenities.

INCIDENTAL DEPOSIT: A $200 credit card authorization is due at check in. If you do not charge anything to your room, the deposit is released at check out and takes a few days to appear on your credit card.

CHECK IN: 4 PM (sometimes sooner, check with resort)
CHECK OUT: 10 AM

- Please note that every attempt will be made to accommodate requests for suite location and early arrivals; however, these requests are based on availability and occupancy. Unfortunately, the resort is unable to guarantee room location.

- Early check in and late check out need to be arranged with the resort directly, after you book your room.
- Minimum age requirement for check-in is 21 years of age.
- No pets allowed, Registered Service Animals Only
- No smoking inside, including electronic cigarettes. Subject to $300 fine

The Welcome Center will send a detailed arrival letter with check in instructions and late arrival info once your reservation is paid in full. If you have late arrival, you must contact the resort directly.

Rooms are only booked in the name we receive from VRBO. We cannot add a name while you're en-route to the resort. Any additional name needed for check in, please add right away.

We loved it, but..

We loved it but, we wish the kitchen was stocked with dishes for children as well and that there was more kitchen items like a crock pot, etc. We enjoyed our stay but will be bringing more items next time to be able to cook at home rather then eating out.

Overall excellent. Indoor pool area could be updated. Biggest complaint is the location of the HVAC condenser units. They are located directly outside the window of the master bedroom on the ground level. Our unit was like located on the ground floor and both condensers went on and off during the night. The sound was disturbing. The design is poor but likely can’t be changed. Don’t know if better sound insulation or newer units are an option

Property is lovely, the unit is run down

We have stayed at this property many times over the years and have found that while many of the units have been renovated, many have not. It appears that the two bedrooms or at least this particular two bedroom is among those in need of updating and renovation. There were actual holes in the carpeting and chunks of caulk missing from the tub and shower units. Additionally, this listing was advertised to have a king and two twins in the second bedroom - it was a queen in the second bedroom instead. We were told by management that the two bedrooms did not have twin beds. Our guest had to sleep on the pull out in the family room - a little inconvenient for everyone. I don't ever post negative reviews but it's frustrating to not get what you pay for.

In need of updating

The property is generally quiet and affordable for families. However the first unit i stayed in was unclean and need of updating. Amenities are very crowded and I did not use any of them, although I was charged $15./day which is mandatory. The property is a timeshare and every effort is made to sell.

Powhatan Resort 2 br condo

Our one night stay was very enjoyable! The unit was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. One of the children did not sleep well so the one hour extended checked was very much appreciated.

A little dated, but roomy.

Overall we had a very nice weekend. We played mini golf and used the pool, but didn't spend too much time at the resort. The unit we were in was in need of some TLC. Bathroom fans were very loud, chipped paint on the walls, some of the furniture was scratched, grout/caulk needs some attention, etc. There was a car parked in our designated space when we arrived and security drove us to "over flow" parking rather than find us a nearby space but by 11 the following morning we got our space back. A small irritation bc night security didn't pass along the info to day shift so it took a couple of phone calls in the morning to resolve. Staff were pleasant and the pitch to get you go to the time-share pitch wasn't bad (we said no thanks.) Space worked well for the family and having a kitchen with a washer/dryer was a plus.
