Short stay in BoA. Been to the town plenty of times before. This place was great for 4 adults and two little dogs. Fields for dogs not far away, town an easy walk down (not so easy up). Info pack very informative.
The property was lovely with lots of character. Well positioned near the centre of town so nearby all you could need. Lovely place with great restaurants, very friendly and picturesque.
Lovely accommodation: fabulous quirky old bedrooms and living areas with modern kitchen/bathroom. Beautifully styled and everything you could ask for in a holiday let with loads of historical character. Be warned - lots of stairs.
We had a large family (9) gathering. Property was as described and we enjoyed staying in an older cottage. Plenty of sleeping places and comfy bedding. Would recommend. Nice location for walking and taking day trips.
Just a wonderful visit from check in with the quaint bedrooms, kitchen and common area to the absolutely stunning garden of blooming wisteria, roses and other flowers!! Teresa was wonderful with communicating and even got to meet her when she dropped by with some laundry detergent, lovely as her home!! â€ïž
We are a family with 3 teens/adult children so enjoyed them having a room each to relax and have space. The single bathroom was a little tricky to manage and for access so not so suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The garden was lovely and the cottage well equipped for our Easter short break. We had a lovely walk in the countryside which was easy to navigate from the cottage. Thank you for the flowers in the cottage and all your thoughtful touches. Would definitely recommend
I wanted my son and his friend to experience the UK in ways besides the big city of London. I thought that they'd get a kick out of staying at a cottage built in 1750, and this place was a huge hit! My son especially liked having the back studio to himself. The stairs were concerning because of how steep they were, and how there was a step down right by the bathroom. This is expected in a place from that period, and there was plenty of discussion in the comments, so we knew what we were getting into. Everything else about it certainly makes it a worthwhile place to stay. It has modern amenities and Theresa is easy to talk to and very responsive. Would definitely stay there again.
I wish we could have stayed longer! This house is all you need or want. Yes, it's of course narrow and tiny and just as the one bathroom like any older house, but it is so perfectly renovated and set up - it's a dream! The extra suite over the shed is awesome and very comfy. The walk into town is just 10min and my mum struggled a bit with the uphill on the way back, but it was a great distance that everyone in the party could just do their own thing at their own time. Everything was perfect.
We had a highly enjoyable stay in this perfect cottage. It was nicely located for interesting and scenic hiking trails, walks into the centre of Bradford, and short drives to many fascinating places. Teresa was very helpful and went above and beyond as a host. The property is immaculate, highly comfortable and has a lot of historic charm. We wouldnât hesitate to return.
Had a great stay at Teresaâs property. The location is great and it is exactly how described.
Teresa was always there if needed and communication was great.
Great host, pay cottage with log burner, comfy beds, perfect location. Our second visit - and a wonderful time of year (Autumn) the colours around BoA are just stunning. Garden studio is really great.
We enjoyed ourselves in this cottage - the location was very handy to get the bus if needed - parking not too bad - could usually find a space within 100 yards. Loved Bradford on Avon's location on the River Avon and the Kennet & Avon canal. Plenty of eateries and pubs.
Great cottage with all the facilities we would need. Excellent communication with owner with lots of suggestions of places to eat and go. Only think Iâll mention is that there was 8 of us and only one toilet which was in the shower room which was tricky at times. Especially tricky if you are staying in the garden room and you need the loo in the night. Other than that it was absolutely perfect and a charming little cottage with great sized bedrooms :-)
We had a lovely weekend at 10 Bath Road. The check in progress was very easy. We had a problem with the taps which Teresa sorted out immediately, responding straight away to our message.
The property is full of character and we really enjoyed staying in such an old building. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the shower was good. Thanks for a great stay!
UrgemĂŒtliches Cottage, kurzer FuĂweg zum Ortszentrum, sehr guter Pub in unmittelbarer NĂ€he, sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Vermieter. Jederzeit wieder!!
We were visiting my cousin in Hilperton and this was the absolute perfect place to stay. The cottage was in a great location and it was everything we hoped for! It was cozy, comfortable and had all we needed; a pub 2 minute walk, a store right around the corner and walking distance to the canal. All I can say is that after staying here my daughter is ready to move to Bradford-on-Avon. We loved every minute.
Our first stop on a two week trip. Cottage is exactly like the pictures and description in the listing. Bradford-on-Avon was a lovely surprise. Beautiful small town on the Avon.
As per the listing the stairs on the cottage are wooden, steep and narrow - not suitable for young kids or anyone with any mobility issues - but also very cute.
We were very happy there for three days - great location for visiting Bath and the surrounding area.
This cottage is absolutely charming and full of character, and it was immaculately clean as well. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked. Water pressure and heating were good. Washer and dryer worked well.
We were a little nervous about street parking but easily found a spot each of our 4 days there. The co-op is a short walk away for provisions (we picked up groceries at Sainsburyâs in the drive there). I walked into town for Mass, and itâs a steep walk but not long. When we went into town with the kids, we drove and parked in a pay-and-display lot near the library/TIC.
Theresa was easy to communicate with and very helpful.
Iâd absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Weâd stay again with no reservations. Thanks, Theresa!
