We had a great family vacation

The property was just as advertised, in a great location and large enough for 15 guests. We had a great family vacation.

Les points forts : Propreté, arrivée, communication et emplacement
The house is very nice inside, large and well-decorated. The kitchen is big and has lots of cooking tools, but the cabinets and drawers are disorganized and it took some searching to find the things you needed. Also, the dinner plates were dirty and had to be washed before using. Cabinets in the living room had lots of games and such, but again, were completely disorganized with things just thrown in there. My grandkids were very excited about the advertised foosball and air hockey table, only to find that it wasn't there ... the owner had removed it, so that was a significant disappointment for all of us. Also, although there were instructions for the electric vehicle included on the house brochure in the kitchen, it turns out that guests cannot use it, another disappointment after seeing the EV and instructions. Overall we had a great time but these things detracted from the stay, and for the price we expected near perfection. I do appreciate how responsive the host was to our questions during the stay.

Perfect home for a large family stay!

My family and I enjoyed the house very much, there was enough space for everyone to have their own space, but also large dining areas for everyone to gather. Good location from Freshfields, we come to Seabrook every year as a family, and will be looking into this house again!

Thank you for your feedback, Laurel. We’re glad to hear that you found the house beautiful. We understand that the storm was a significant inconvenience, and we genuinely sympathize with the challenges it presented. Unfortunately, natural events like storms are beyond our control and can impact the area. It seems your low rating may reflect the impact of the storm rather than the property itself, which we’re pleased to hear you really enjoyed. We hope you understand that such conditions don’t reflect the quality of the property.

Relaxed, charming, lovely!

Location is quiet and friendly. We rode bikes all over the island and also rented the golf cart which made getting to the beach easier. House was fully stocked and comfortable for 4 kids and 4 adults. Diahes did need some washing upon arrival, but otherwise the house was very vlean. Bed were comfy roo!

5 star stay

The house was just perfect for us. We were able to bike to the beach easily. House photos are just as advertised and plenty of space! If I have to suggest anything I would say some of the kitchen pans are old and there was only 1 tea towel and one dish cloth for the week - would be nice to have 2. but overall amazing stay!

Holidays In Seabrook

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seabrook during the Holidays of 2022. The Captain's Creek House was very accommodating with plenty of room for our family reunion. Despite some problems with the appliances...both the dishwasher and microwave stopped working....we had a wonderful time. This is a very nice house....highly recommend for family fun!

Great week!

We had a great week in this very comfortable home. There were 11 of us--9 adults and 2 kids, 8 and 6--and we had plenty of room to spread out. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable, but apparently not so much for the others. The grandkids loved the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom! All in all, it was a great stay!

Great house and a good price

We really enjoyed our stay at the house! We had 4 friends running the Kiawah Half Marathon and it worked out great for us--plenty of room for all. The house was very clean. The only problem we had was figuring out the TVs. We could have called the property manager but never got around to it. We will stay again!

Seabrook - 3012 Marsh Haven

Great for families with entertainment and ample space to spread out. Rent the golf cart! Situated in a quiet area with marsh views crabbing dock. House needs some TLC - reupholstery on cushions and pain on interior. Range top cracked and two burners working. Need smart person to manage a variety of TVs on WIFI. Would go back again.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to the possibility of hosting you again.

Home away from home!

3012 Marsh Haven is a beautiful home and had tons of space. So much space that we did not find the basement door (which was right in front of our eyes) until the day before we left! It allowed our family to have one of the most relaxing vacations we have had in years! It was my mother, daughter and their significant others’ first time on the Island and they enjoyed it thoroughly and cannot wait to come back next year! 3012 Marsh Haven was the site of our first annual low country boil wherein we had over 30 guests to the home and it was perfect! We would definitely suggest this home to vacationers! It’s a home away from home!!!

Spacious and quiet retreat

This home was perfect for our group of 8. The home is beautifully furnished with lots of areas to gather and chat in comfort. The rear deck and screened in porch are lovely. The house suits on a large lot(maybe a double lot or 1.5?) So you feel very secluded on the back porches. The kitchen was well appointed with 2 ovens and even an electric griddle which we used for french toast. Windows, doors and blinds were all in good shape and easy to use to allow fall breezes to pass through the house. We would definitely stay at this house again with a group of this size.

Spacious comfortable property

The house was perfect for an extended family gathering of ages ranging from 0 - 72. Large master on the main (drawback is that it is right off of the kitchen/TV area) with 4 large bedrooms upstairs including another room that could considered a master. Huge basement/play area, access to the garage, 2 refrigerators, great dining room, and the kitchen was well equipped. It had everything we needed to make our weekend fantastic. Only feedback would be to send the check-out instructions with the check-in (and again before check-out). Not everyone reads their email on vacation.

We had 10 family and friends that gathered for our annual vacation it was a first time to Charleston area for most. We enjoyed the home very much the check in process and manager was great the home has new owners since we booked it months in advance the new owner is making some renovations but it did not interrupt our stay. The golf cart addition is a definite hit with the young adults in our group. Overall a great vacation and we loved the island would definitely come again.

Great stay

We had a wonderful time at this property. The communication with Sweetgrass was excellent and response time was good. We rented bikes and a golf cart to use to get around. It was a little ways to the pool and beach. Golf cart is definitely easier if you have stuff to carry. House had ample room and all your basic needs. The mattresses weren't the best and kitchen did not have a ton of storage for food. 2 refrigerators was wonderful. There is a not a bathroom for basement room so that was a little inconvenient for those sleeping downstairs. Overall, great stay! We loved Seabrook and will be back to Seabrook next year.
