Bienvenue à votre plaisir en famille dans la maison de soleil! Cette maison de mer de 3ème rangée est idéale pour les grandes familles ou même plusieurs familles, car elle peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 19 personnes avec ses 6 chambres, sa 5, 5 salles de bain avec piscine privée * chauffée. Il y a des chambres sur les trois niveaux avec deux suites principales avec salle de bain pour les mamans et les papas. La cuisine s'ouvre sur la salle à manger avec une table de ferme et un salon pour un bel et grand espace de vie. Juste à côté de cette pièce à vivre ouverte et de la cuisine, vous trouverez un grand porche avec une grande table pour 16 personnes, ce qui en fait le lieu idéal pour toute la famille qui se réunira pour un dîner en plein air surplombant la piscine et les palmiers. Dans l’ensemble, c’est une bonne île pour les enfants et les moins jeunes!

Great location

The house was in a great location and the management company has a great app to help with everything you could need. The house needs some fixing up. It’s pretty run down. We had a great time though .

The Vacation Company was wonderful to move us to a nearby house because of a HUGE mosquito problem! Our 3-year-old grandchild was COVERED in bites after one night.

The location of this property is amazing! Just a short walk to the beach, although the access trail to the beach was under water and was sketchy as we did not know what we were walking through as it was dark and merky. The main floor of the property was AMAZING. The upstairs was not good. The carpet felt damp due the humidity and smelled. The bathrooms aren't updated so there was dirty grout, rust in sinks, etc. The ceiling fans were very dirty. It appeared the rugs were not vacuumed and when we went to use the vacuum it was filthy. The lower level smelled very musty. Dark brown water leaked out of the shower on the lower level and there were bugs on the floor. Also, some very stinky bait was left in the refrigerator in the garage. BUT....we over looked all these things and had a great time. The pool was VERY fun and nice. The outdoor furniture could use some cleaning.

Wouldn’t stay here again

Upon arrival the property manager was standing outside and told us the toilet upstairs had overflowed causing a leak from the ceiling below. Said they cleaned it best they could. When we entered the home we saw the ceiling leak immediately. Water was dripping from the ceiling onto the couch. We had to move the couch over so it didn’t get wet. My husband and I ended up staying in the room where the toilet had issues and caused the leak. When we walked into the room, the leak was so bad it leaked out into the hallway, soaking our feet and socks as we stepped through. I had to ask the property manager to bring something the put down on the carpet so I didn’t haven’t to constantly get wet from toilet water. We were not able to use our toilet until Thursday evening - 5 days into our trip. We only had a day and a half of use. Very inconvenient when needing to use the restroom in the middle of the night. Had to go downstairs to use restroom. There was mold in the skylight in the bathroom as well. The grill was not cleaned so we had to clean it ourselves and did not have full propane tanks upon arrival. Had to ask the property manager to get us full tanks. Dry, hardened cheese sticks were found on the chairs by the pool from previous guests. The light in the basement in the bunk room was not working. Property manager had to order a new light fixture and was not able to install for 2 days. Found mold in the cabinet above the microwave. Pool was dirty and not cleaned. Was starting to get cloudy, almost a green color. Notified property manager of no chlorine tablets left. Came on day 4 to finally clean the pool and add chlorine. The couch was dirty and I didn’t even want to sit on it. The dirt and grime from wear and tear was very visible. The property is in need of TLC - needs much updating. The house has a great layout, but needs better care/maintenance. On a good note, I was always able to speak to the property manager when I called. Easy to get ahold of, just wasn’t able to fix things timely. I liked how close we were to the beach. Neighbor was so nice! We really liked him.

We came down with a group of friends & our kids to get married & vacation.

The Vacation Company was super attentive to our every need. They even had a card with a wedding gift waiting for us. The location & the house was amazing. It was close to the beach & shops. It had something for every age in our group. We want to make this a family tradition!

Property was dirty & very poorly maintained Could be a great place to stay if owner would better maintain it. If there was somewhere else we could have stayed we would not have stayed there. We came from Ohio to what we thought was a beautiful home—-not!

In speaking with the Director of Housekeeping it is my understanding that you contacted the office on 7/27 to report your dissatisfaction with the clean upon your arrival. We apologize that the house wasn't cleaned to your expectation and if you have contacted us upon arrival we would have sent the cleaners back. I do show that we refunded your credit card the cleaning fee back to you on the 27th and also offered to send the cleaners back which you didn't want as you said you had already cleaned the house. Once we apologize for the situation and wish that you would have let us rectify it upon arrival. The Vacation Company

Good family space

The house was a great size for the family. We loved the space in the screened in porch for family dinners. However, the house is in some need of soundproofing. We could hear all the noises outside, from people in their pools to traffic, while we were trying to sleep.

Property was not ready at 4 check in time. It was after 530 before they left so we could get in house. I emailed a pic of a door handle broken, we purchased parts & fixed it. Other than those 2 issues IT WAS GREAT...

Excellent Rental

Loved the spaces, especially dining screened in porch. Excellent for staying with small children. 50 year old property shows use over the years. Convenient to beach and Coligny shopping. Lovely neighborhood. One suggestion would be to upgrade old school bedspreads to hotel quality. Overall: we'd rent this property again.

Great First Visit to Hilton Head

The property was fantastic. We were able to get to the beach in a few minutes, enjoy the heated pool and hot tub when it was chilly, and there was so much space to relax in the house. Our 4 kids loved the bottom floor, or as they called it, the "cool kids room." Overall it was an amazing and relaxing vacation.

A great trip!

We had a wonderful time and loved the spaciousness of the house. Fit our large family perfectly! We would definitely stay again. One thing that would be nice is if there was a leaf blower to clean off the pool area daily. Lots of leaves fell. Also maybe something to help with the mosquitoes by the pool. Outside of that this was wonderful, having the screened in porch was fantastic!

Great family vacation

There were 12 of us ranging in age from 76 (grand pa) to 14 (youngest granddaughter). Even had a couple recent college grads and one taking virtual summer classes. The house is wonderful, the screened in porch is great for dinner, everyone fits easily. The pool is great to relax after a day at the beach which is a very short walk away. House accommodates EXCELLENT! We have already rented for the same time next year.

Best location on the island!

Loved having a private pool and house to escape! The beach access was closer than I though and the house was perfect for 5 families to share! Only negatives would be the overgrown pool area casted a lot of shade On the pool and made the mosquitoes intense. Wish there were paved stones to access the back spray off area by the pool so that you wouldn’t fill your feet or sandals with dirt when you were done. We would definitely come again! Loved the Vacation Company and their efficiency!

Our Hilton Head stay Fall 2019

We had an amazing week in Hilton Head. The house was a prefect size for all 19 of us. We were very thankful that we paid the extra money to have the pool and hot tub heated. We used it often and had some of our most special times around and in the pool as a family. Having 6 bathrooms in the house we really great. The kitchen was well stocked with what ever we needed to cook our meals. The beach was really only a two minute walk which was so nice. The two things that I would say we would of loved to see different was: 1. We came in with food for 19 people for the week and no cupboards to put them in because they were all full. 2. The house was not as clean as we would of liked it to. There was dust in areas that don't need to be dusted each week but more than they were. I could write "clean me" on the picture frame on the wall by the shower in the master bedroom. We also found a water bottle under the bed. Other places were just not as clean as we had hoped. Overall: we loved the place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Hilton Head. Thank you!

Great house for large group of people

We go to the beach with four families each year, so we need a house that can accommodate all of us, and this house was perfect! The kids had their own space downstairs that was perfect for them to hang out in. The adult rooms were also great for our group. The best part of this house might be the close distance to the beach—less than a five minute walk!

Great house

Great house, easy access to the beach. We had a family reunion and there were 14 of us, and we had plenty of room to sleep and stretch out. Great space! Also loved the screened in porch and front deck. The pool area could use a little updating as mentioned in other reviews, but was nice to relax in, esp if it was too hot at the beach. Kitchen needs to be gone thru and paired down; too many dishes, glasses, etc. to the point where we didn't have space to put groceries up for 14. We found ourselves trying to consolidate cabinets etc.

Overall great place for a large group!

We did enjoy the home. The location was perfect: it was close walk to the beach and a quick bike ride to sea pines and Coligny plaza. The air did not seem to function well. Someone came to check but it did not really fix the issue. The main issue for not giving 5 stars is the cleanliness. A pair of dirty socks fell out of the end of one of the beds- not our socks. So we questioned the cleanliness. Not sure how dirty socks would remain if they actually cleaned the bedding. Other than those things, the house was great.

We’ll be back!

Fantastic house! We had 4 families, 8 adults and 5 kids and had more than enough room for everyone. The lower level was a great area for the kids and all the bedrooms were perfect for each couple. Very well stocked kitchen and the extra fridge in the garage is a bonus. The location to the beach can’t be beat and the proximity to Coligny plaza is less than 1 mile. The pool and spa were great for the kids. The only thing I would add is that figuring out the pool/spa heat was a little confusing. There are directions, but they aren’t very clear. Other than that, our week was perfect! We all agreed that we will be renting this house for our future trips to HHI. Thank you for a great, memorable stay!

Great Family Retreat Location

4 Dogwood Lane Spent the entire week here with the family and extended family. We had so much room we called friends and invited a few others for a night or two. Place is really nice and comfortable. Close approx to beach and just a few min walk. Close to Coligny and other things. At beach entrance to Sea Pines. Parking was plenty.... There are stairs so in case you have elderly be aware. Pool was a little dated and in shade....Hot tub did not work at all. Bikes were in the garage but locked up. Plenty of beach things to take...including a cart that was a huge help. Out of a 10 I would rate it an 8 just for the few items listed.
