In Arizona, staying cool comes as a big relief and the stone floors are like a soothing welcome mat, very earthy and relaxing. 2 other things were a big help for me: washer/dryer and that bed. The bed has the wow factor going for it. I will stay again just to sink into it. I couldnât have been happier when my dogs Shasta and Star were also welcome. They loved the stone floor too.
We had a wonderful 2-day stay! It was quiet, peaceful, and exactly what we needed to relax. The communication with the owner was excellentâshe was so sweet and made everything easy. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to others!
Loved this place, central to all the places we wanted to see. Cozy and secluded, fully equipped for a stay, perfect for the two of us. Wished we could have stayed longer
This property is beautifully situated in Cave Creek, a nice quiet area, and a bit of an adventure to get to! I loved the house and the surrounding area. Very romantic and charming!
Bedroom was gorgeous, bathrooms lovely, towels fresh and fluffy! Kitchen and living space was wonderfully open and spacious. Host was responsive and helpful in navigating to it, because GPS only gets you so far!!
The perfect quiet desert getaway. 100% would love to come back and stay longer!
We enjoyed our stay, and will return. There were a couple of things that need to be addressed. The shower curtain was very dirty, the bathroom sink did not drain properly , The freezer needed to be defrosted and the bed is too low to the ground. We enjoyed the quaint hideaway in the desert. It was very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend friends and family to your hideaway
We loved the house and the outdoor patios. The views from all the windows were beautiful. The home was very nicely furnished. It is a great get a way for a couple!
I grew up riding horses in Cave Creek and have never felt as "in" the desert as I did at this beautiful home. We stayed here during our move back to Arizona and it felt like the most therapeutic welcome home. I saw my first roadrunner and I've lived in AZ for 30+ years! When you arrive I would definitely do a scorpion search, we found 3 (dead) ones upon arrival and with a 2 year old it was a bit stressful but it wasn't a persistent problem. This place is definitely worth it and the host was so kind and accommodating!
Very remote and quiet property, felt like we were immersed in the desert, yet only a 5-7 minute drive to grocery stores and coffee shops. Place was perfect for the two of us. Amenities as described in the listing. Good WiFi.
This one-bedroom house is charming, decorated inside and out with an artist's eye. Very comfortable bed, great shower, updated bathroom, updated kitchen, living room area with a view. Shaded patio on north side with good view of mountains as well as garden with a variety of Sonoran plants. Very central for hiking and restaurants. Just enough separation from neighboring houses.
This home is the real deal, great sunsets and the desert at your doorstep. Very reasonable price for what you get. Host did a great job in answering my many questions! Kenn
The property was perfect size for a couple. All of the amenities were modern and available. While quietly tucked away the property had convenient access to groceries and other stores/restaurants within a short drive.
Beautiful desert setting yet close to civilization. A homey atmosphere set among the saguaros and wildlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Cave Creek property. There were morning walks and peaceful relaxation on the patios at night under a full moon. We highly recommend Sarahâs casita and hope to return.
We built this home custom 2013 on the 4 acres i grew up on as a child.. in the north Scottsdale and cave creek border. I was born and raised in Cave Creek, one of the only AZ natives. My "real" job is realtor and concierge manager so I'm take care of my guests like I would my clients and family.
The huge window that opens up the living room to the majestic Black mountain will take you breath away.. sunrise or sunset you have perfect views of the desert and changing colors.. with all the shades up, you feel like you are outside whiles inside.
