Notre maison bien aménagée, le Godwit, est située sur un acre + beaucoup de terrain au bord de l'eau avec accÚs à Pochet Cove et Little Pleasant Bay, à quelques minutes de la plage Nauset. La maison est de plain-pied, entourée de beaux jardins, avec une vue sur l'eau, située dans un quartier privé et pourtant à quelques minutes des restaurants, des magasins et de l'Académie des arts de la scÚne. Le pont arriÚre est comme un salon extérieur. Lisez un livre préféré, regardez les hérons et les aigrettes depuis le pont, discutez avec la famille et les amis. La propriété offre de l'intimité et un sentiment de paix. Draps, serviettes de bain et serviettes de plage tous inclus. Il n'y a pas non plus de frais de nettoyage. Hébergement pour 6-7 personnes.

Beautiful Property

Had a very nice stay with my adult kids and their partners. Flowers in the yard are amazing and nice view of the water. AC units were welcome, as it was August. Lots of games which we took advantage of.

The house was exactly as advertised and Zoe was very accommodating and responsive to the few questions we had. She even lent us a bicycle pump from her basement. I would recommend it to anyone who finds the listing suitable.

Comfortable, quiet, private in a lovely neighborhood.

Enjoyed walking in the neighborhood down to the landing past a house with sculptures to watch the birds. Walk to breakfast places about a half hour and 40 minutes to the beach. Orleans is a great town with easy access to bike trail and great places to eat. The water view is less than I expected due to growth of trees and vines. Enjoyed the book shelves.

Special place

Loved our stay. The location was perfect for us. Short bike ride to Nauset Farms for coffee and sandwiches and then to Nauset Beach. And the house is very comfortable. Large living room that opens onto a very comfortable deck that has shade under a couple of majestic Eastern Red Cedars. Beautiful view from the deck looking out onto Pleasant Bay. Beautiful gardens surround the house.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat

We loved our week here. The house is in an amazing, peaceful location. It is a super comfortable house that is perfect for a family— we had three teenagers and a 90 year old grandparent with us and every one was so happy. The owners were incredibly helpful and responsive. Perfect location for getting to beaches, kayaking and sailing

Beautiful home with great customer service!

We stayed at this house for a week. First of all the grounds the house sits, are just breathtaking. Even the neighbors commented to my wife how the house's landscaping is so beautiful, front and back. The house is well equipped with about anything you need. It was large enough for my wife and our two grandchildren. Zoe is a super host. She welcomed us to the home very early and when I called her it was hard to be any faster than her response. She even had lanterns for us to use for the evening. Zoe was so responsive that I thought one of the lanterns was missing a cord to charge the light, she went out and purchased two more. Overall, the entire family enjoyed staying at Zoe's house and if you value customer service, Zoe is hard to beat.

Older Property

Though we had a nice stay, the overall state of the house was a bit out of date. For example the screen and glass sliding doors to the deck are in need of replacement - very squeaky. Windows are virtually impossible to open. Lots of useless pans, etc resulted in a bit of cluttered cabinets. The landscape is beautiful and the deck was where we spent a great deal of time - very nice, though I could not find an outdoor light for the evening - bring a lantern or some outdoor candles.

Cozy and quiet with beautiful grounds and views

Very clean, very comfortable, gorgeous property with beautiful flowers and trees everywhere, great wooden deck in back with wonderful views. Lots of birds and the occasional rabbit running across the lawn. Very quite: Never got woken up, even though we sleep very late. Lots of clean towels, sheets, pillows, etc--everything we needed.

Comfortable, clean and peaceful!

Our month-long stay at this property was very comfortable and enjoyable. The house was incredibly clean, the owners were very kind and welcoming and the house was equipped with everything we needed. Many mornings and evenings were spent on the back deck enjoying the view of the water. There are many beaches, restaurants and stores within a short drive. The house was large enough for us to comfortably accommodate several guests during our time there. If you are looking for a very modern house, this isn't the place for you. However, if you're looking for a comfortable, welcoming and clean place to stay, in a great location, this rental has everything that you need. All of the basics and then some are covered. The owners often stayed on the property in a separate house and were nothing but kind - even bringing us fresh cut flowers several times to enjoy in the house. I would highly recommend this rental!

Lovely house in beautiful setting

Clean, well maintained house in lovely flower-filled setting with a great ocean view and a living room and terrace that take advantage of that view. The host made the week's rental easy. She was attentive but not intrusive in any way. All the necessary bedding, towels etc were just as they should be upon arrrival. A perfect pick for a family or even a couple or friends.

Perfect Vacation

We had a great week in this beautiful cape home. The deck is huge with fantastic views. Whenever we were not at the beach, riding bikes or sightseeing (I love Truro Vineyards.), this is where our family would be found. The neighborhood was quiet and a great place for my running energizer bunny husband to do his miles. The house itself was spacious and clean with lots of amenities. The best was the mattress in the master bedroom, the most comfortable we have found in a rental house. Can't say enough about the beautiful gardens and landscaping. We are looking forward to returning next summer.

A Beautiful and Comfortable Rental Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by beautiful bouquets of fresh-cut flowers in the house. The grounds are spectacular, filled with large, colorful and well-maintained plantings. The view of the bay from the back deck was a constant reminder of how close we were to the ocean and the natural environment of Cape Cod. The house was clean, well furnished and well stocked with household supplies. We would highly recommend this property for rental by anyone wishing to enjoy their Cape Cod vacation.

Charming, neat property with gardens to die for

We were very pleased with the house and our stay. The house and the location were lovely. Everything was clean, neat and functional. Everything about the house was as stated. It is just the right size for 5 - 7 people. We enjoyed the ability to launch kayaks out of the back yard at high tide. We liked browsing the large bookshelves and our musicians had fun playing the baby grand piano in the living room. And the gardens are works of art.

A wonderful Cape Cod stay

We stayed at this property last week and had a fabulous time. We have rented a different summer home in Orleans for many years, but that property went off the rental market, so we have been looking for a new place to rent. We tried this house this year, and we were really impressed. The location is terrific--on the back side of the Nauset Beach dunes, on an inlet which is part of Little Pleasant Bay. The views of the water are gorgeous, from the deck and the living room. The neighborhood is quiet, with beautiful homes. The house was comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. The owners are very kind and very helpful, and they have planted amazing flowers and shrubs all around the property. It's a great place.

FLOWER POWER

This place is paradisical! After you've tiptoed through the tulips and seen the flowers on the wall, you'll enter this house when what to your wondering eyes will appear? More flowers. He may not bring bring you flowers anymore but these ladies do. Fresh flowers fill the vases on the kitchen and dining room tables...and on top of the grand piano. And I mean grand. Even if chopsticks is your entire repertoire you'll feel like a player in this piano seat. And if you're lucky enough to have an audience they'll be quite comfortable sitting in the spacious living room with plush couches and an easy chair near the fireplace and that's hard to get out of. Or maybe you'd prefer to sit out on the deck right off the living room that overlooks the inlet. Just make sure you have the bug candles if you do so after sunset in the summer. There's also access to this long deck from one of the bedrooms down the hall. And speaking of access, fine restaurants and an oceanside beach are only 5 minutes away by car. Or just take a sunset stroll around the house. This 'Garden of Eden' will unveil something new every time you do. Tucked away behind a bush or a branch, a small statue or sculpture like that of a muse awaits your peruse. Thank you Zoe and Vera - we are still talking about our fantastic vacation! GREAT!!

My family has been vacationing on the Cape for years and has stayed in various rentals during that time. However about 4 years ago we found this lovely spot and have been returning to the same home every summer. We have no plans to ever look again. It's quiet, near the beach (quick drive or bike ride), and has a lovely deck. My folks are in their 80s and they particularly like the layout of the home--everything is on one floor. We find it very comfortable, spacious and exceptionally clean. The deck is very fine with a view of an inlet. The deck chairs are so comfortable that once you sit down in one you won't want to move. Also, I can't forget to mention the yard. It's one of most beautiful in the area. Lovely flowers everywhere. We love it here.

Calm garden retreat

I have never rented such a well equipped and tranquil home. For birders it is a real paradise - no need to leave the deck but binoculars required.
