Beautiful 2/1 + Loft est l'escapade parfaite! Situé à Sea Isle avec vue sur la plage, il dispose d'un lit king-size, d'un lit queen-size, d'un canapé-lit et d'un lit double dans le loft, pour 7 personnes. Comprend la télévision par câble avec lecteur DVD dans les chambres et le salon. Autres commodités: Wifi central gratuit, lecteur CD, lave-vaisselle, laveuse / sécheuse, douche extérieure, barbecue à gaz et à charbon avec foyer et meubles de terrasse. Le Salty Dog a été magnifiquement entretenu et récemment rénové. Great place dog friendly

Our dogs had a great time as well as my 3 year old and my wife. Great place to stay and will stay there again.

Great place!

Great place for family and pets! Close to the beach and the Marina restaurant. We would stay here again for sure! It has everything you need as well.

Quick weekend getaway

We loved the house, proximity to the beach was great, and it has a really nice fenced-in yard. Perfect for us since we brought our pups. Unfortunately, it's located about 100 feet from a bar, so between that and the houses surrounding us blasting music it was little too much for us. I would certainly stay here again, maybe during the week and not a holiday

Great value for Gulf view that’s across highway from beach access. Very clean. Enjoyed grill.

Dogs had run of large fenced yard. Have made a future reservation already.

Definitely a great place to stay!

We loved our stay at the Salty Dog. It was a great place to stay for two couples and two dogs. The dogs were able to run around in the large yard. The location was also fabulous! It was just down the street from the public beach so we were able to easily walk back and forth. The neighbors were all so friendly and the place was so charming and the price was reasonable!

My only complaint is, says it has a beach set up. The wagon was not even useful for hauling the chairs and cooler to the beach.

Great beach access

Want a quiet location and a block to beach? Nicely updated place with all you need. Indoors is spacious. Our dogs loved the yard and watching the world from the deck.

Birthday getaway

Beautiful property, a few minutes walk to the beach. Very pet friendly with a big fenced yard! The house was clean and the outside areas were charming and functional . Beds really comfy and the kitchen with everything you need for prepare any meal. We would highly recommend!!

Just right

Nice location with quick access to beach, fishing, and marina. Simple accomodations, nothing fancy. Had all the needed ammenities to cook meals, do laundry and soak up some sun Great yard.

Absolutely Perfect!

Stayed the week and this house was everything we wanted and more. House has everything you need to cook full meals or was close enough to Seawall if you want to go into town and eat at a restaurant. Walking distance to the beach was great! The fenced in yard was the perfect thing for our dog. Plenty of room to roam and run! We have already made plans to come back for hopefully 2 weeks next Summer.

Quick Getaway

My wife and I really liked this property. Property was precisely as advertised - huge fenced yard for our dog, short walk to the beach and close enough to walk to the West End restaurant. Property was very clean. Only tip is for the outdoor shower - the hot and cold are reversed which is pretty common for outdoor showers at the beach so this is just an FYI.

Family vacation

Great property. The kids and our dog loved the big yard. Our middle son loved the loft area to sleep. Easy access to the beach. Loved having the outdoor shower to rinse off from the beach. If you have kids and are looking for something free to do,look up the sea turtle sculpture tour. There were 4 in the neighborhood alone,and out kids loved looking for them.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beach house is in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to the beach. It just doesn't have that 'home away from home' feel. Simple things like hand soap in the bathroom would have been nice. It doesn't have any useable storage to put personal belongings like suitcase. A small desk would have been convenient rather than taking up dining table space with laptop. The vertical blinds are missing slats and need to be replaced. It has great lighting, and the coffee maker was much appreciated. Overall, the look and feel are rather blah.

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful time. Stayed for a week. Large kitchen. Stocked with cooking and grilling essentials like silver ware and pots and pans. Comfy beds. We loved hanging out down stairs in the evenings. The dog absolutely loved the huge yard. We will book again. Be prepared to bring everything you need - toilet paper, paper towels, etc. No paper goods to start with. Everyone really enjoyed their stay.

Nice Place but Nightmare Realtors

The realtor company that oversees this property does not seem to communicate with each other. Upon arrival we had problems with keys told them about it over 4 day span. This place is nice but needs some TLC from owners or the realtor company that is trying to sell it. Made them aware of potential issues with their property and management company/ realtor justification was it happens. We would have gave higher ratings but the property management / realtor lack of communication with our concerns left us feeling uncomfortable.

Hi Rita, We apologize you had an issue at the Salty Dog with keys. It looks like you were having an issue unlocking the door at certain times. We sent someone out to see if it could be fixed but you still had an issue the following day. We ended up sending a locksmith to replace the entire lock which resolved the issue during your stay. Very unfortunate to receive a one star rating for such a minor issue, but we appreciate your feedback.

Great Place to Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were all set to head to Galveston, then hurricane Beryl hit. Wolverton Rentals were amazing!! We were able to change our reservations to the last week in July. Joel and Keitha at Wolverton rentals were so accommodating and helpful with this process and in fact it was cheaper to go later in July and was refunded a very small portion. Anything helps!Once at the Salty Dog, we unpacked and got settled. The house is so cute and everything was there as far as utensils, pots, pans, towels, etc. I usually bring some of my own things b/c in other homes we've rented they are not nearly as stocked with items. Not the Salty Dog- they had it all!The location was amazing and literally 3 houses in from the road/beach access. We walked every day to the beach with our rolling cart and pups in hand. The house had a fence and huge yard for our two small pups (8lbs 17lbs). For them, it felt like major acreage and were running as if they were free. They loved it!The beds were comfortable, air conditioning was great and the over all set up was just perfect for our family of 4, well 6 total with the pups.The weather was beautiful and was glad to see that most to all the folks in the Sea Isle community as well as the rest of Galveston were thriving after Beryl.We will be back next year for sure!!
