Si l'emplacement est important pour vous, alors le Kihei Surfside est l'endroit où vous voulez être. Nous nous asseyons à droite sur l'océan et vous pouvez aller à la plage ou faire de la plongée avec les tortues. Le Kihei Surfside a une pelouse d'herbe immense et magnifique avec une piscine, un barbecue, des chaises de jardin, shuffle board, putting et jeux. Nous sommes parfaitement situés entre Kihei et Wailea, donc il ya beaucoup de magasins et restaurants à proximité. Il n'y a pas lieu plus agréable et nous venons de terminer une rénovation de 100% et il est donc l'unité autour de plus belle. Mais la caractéristique la plus importante de notre condo est l'emplacement, emplacement, emplacement.

Nous sommes fiers de notre maison de Maui et notre espoir est que vous voulez profiter de vos vacances au maximum.

Kihei Surfside Resort est une propriété unique en bord de mer de six étages situé dans le sud de Kihei offrant une vue à 180 degrés sur le bleu du Pacifique clair. Felt at home

Wonderful location, very nice remodel. Comfortable with spectacular view. My only complaint was that the tv operation was ridiculously hard. Management sent someone to give us better directions, but every time you turned it back on it was an ordeal.

Great place to stay right on the water!

We had an amazing week at the Kihei Surfside on Maui. This property management company made it so easy. They were very responsive and kept in touch the whole time. This place is right on the water with snorkeling and tide pools right behind the unit and long white sand beaches next to that. Condo was well stocked an had a perfect view, the lawn was so much fun for family activities and watching the sunset . We could not be more pleased with our experience! Definitely would book with them again.

Not Good!

No A/C and very hot. Pool construction started at 6am. Water turned off during our stay on a different day than it was posted to be turned off. Not a very good stay.

My mother and sister stayed here for a week. It is a beautiful unit, clean, well-appointed, and spacious. (My family and I stayed in another ground-floor unit, which wasn't nearly as nice.)The views from the living area and balcony are gorgeous, and the condo complex simply perfect. The pool was another plus - never too crowded, and the water was warm, not cold as many condo/hotel pools can be. The management staff went out of their way to assist with anything and everything needed. The snorkeling from the beach was fantastic, and there are beautiful walks in each direction from the condo; heading north, you go through a protected bird sanctuary, and south you head down the beach to Wailea. This is simply a wonderful location - our favorite so far, and we've stayed all over the island! Our thanks to the owners for being so kind and accommodating with this rental.

Wonderful ocean view and great location.

As far as views go this beats most. The unit itself is surprisingly small and furnishings are nothing fancy. The kitchen is well stocked for those that like to cook. The bedframe is huge for that small bedroom which would not be an issue if the corners were not so vicious. Beware on that you will probably run into those frequently. This is all minor considering the great location and view are awesome! One of the most beautiful beaches right next door along with the 5 palms restaurant which has super food and Happy Hour. The Management co. Alii Resorts is great to work with and has the Aloha spirit. I would recommend this location if you like being right on the water.

The condo was wonderful and the view was awesome. Unfortunately, they were remodeling the unit next door and drilling on the concrete wall that joined our unit. We had 3 days where we were unable to carry on a conversation or even make a phone call. I talked to the Bldg. Mgmt office and they were unable to help us. We wish we would have know ahead of time, we would have requested a different unit.

Heaven in Hawaii

We rented unit 211 in Dec of 2010, and absolultely loved it. Previously we had rented a condo in Maalea, but the location of their Kehei Surfside clinched the deal for us this year. AB and Ginny were so helpful. They gave us a great preliminary write-up on the condo and the area before we arrived, provied us some wonderful documents on the best snorkling beaches, and called us on our cell after we had arrived to ensure that all was "OK". As noted, all units in the KS are not Ac'd....not a problem; the Tradewinds lulled us to sleep each nite; the natural AC worked great! Since 211 is a 1 1/2 bath unit it is a larger unit, which made us all the more comfortable. Everything in the Condo was spotless.(Yes, they are going to replace the curtains over the sliding door.) We found the kitchen facilities met our every need; we cooked dinner in most nites during our two week stay. Beach chairs, beach towels; everything was there to make our stay complete. The location of unit 211 provided us with a quiet condo; and we still had an awesome view. One day, as we lay out on the lawn next to the ocean, two whales sounded. It was thrilling. The beach was 50 feet away; just walk South a couple of feet and you had miles of it to walk. Or you could snorkle around the rocks out front. The people at the front desk were lifesavers, and gave us tips on all sorts of stuff. What really surprised us were the actual owners of the other units; many were there during our stay. The taught us how to use the BarBQ's, invited us to the sunset counch blowing ritual, and even dropped by to invite us to the morning Coffee and Danish (and , when we could not make it, left fresh pastry!) All in all, we could not have asked for a better experience. Thanks guys, for sharing your Hawaian home with us!

Would not recommend this place if you want it to be quiet.

As far as location this is a good location since it's further South near Wailea. The beach is very close and access is past next door hotel which is convenient. We were not too fond of this building however and felt the ample grounds could be better enhanced in addition to having the current smaller pool. This unit really needs updating and we were very disspointed in our stay so we left early. It felt very oppressive inside and quality of furnishings is very poor. Kitchen is original with limited counters. The front darker bedroom had original ( and dirty) curtains as well as the wobbly ceiling fan. Also, the guest bathroom light switch is attached to the vent fan so when you turned the light switch on the fan noise was very loud and rickety. This unit does not have A/C and although we felt we were not going to need it unfortunately the rear bedroom gets very stuffy. You need to keep the louver style windows open for a breeze but then at 5:00am you hear the very loud birds outside the window. Also, being on the second level we heard several car alarms from the parking lot right out front and also one night there was a party in the parking lot until very late. Tried to use their portable fan as well to block the noise and make the room cooler but that portable fan is on its last legs. In addition being on the second level you hope the people below are respectful unlike the family who was staying below us. The unit below has direct access to the grassy area overlooking the ocean but if they are loud you will hear everything since they can come and go as they please from the sliding glass door which is directly above this balcony. It was a real shame!

We appreciated this guests comments, I hope they found a quieter place. They had checked in a day early because where they were at first was too noisy. They stayed for two nights and asked to check out two days early since their original stay was a short one. We did agree with two items and when we visited this November we took care of the half bath fan (which had bothered us too but thought it would have taken an electirician, but we were able to put it on a pull switch. Also we did clean the curtains since in March we had not gotten a chance to have it done. We feel good when the overwelming response in our guest book is all positive in comments about our unit. We have not updated the kitchen as it is on the market and it has been recommended that the new buyer would rather do it to their specs. We in turn try to stock our unit like you would have in your home. As for the building location all past comments have been positive - with one other exception to quiet the birds. Kihei Surfside cannot have air conditioning in any units so if that is a requirement you should choose elsewhere. Our vast putting green lawn is partially leased from the state and our amenities (like the pool) could not be expanded if we chose to. Though our residents and visitors alike enjoy the full use of the area. I am going to be contacting other visitors and ask their permission to enter their guest book comments and one would then see an overwelming positive response to both our unit and the Kihei Surfside.

Amazing beach front condo with everything needed. Can walk for miles on white sandy beach. Friendly people, close to wonderful restaurants and upscale hotels. A great vacation.

Our 10 days on Maui at the Kihei Surfside

Location was fabulous and the property/grounds were beautiful. Upon entering the room, the first impression was that the living room furniture was a bit old and dreary and the rug in the main living room was well worn. The kitchen was large and fully equipped and the bedroom/bathrooms were great. The view from the room's lanai is spectacular. The community of residents were very friendly and the community atmosphere was very positive. I would come back to this property without hesitation. Investing in a new couch, chairs and rug in the living room area would make it a 5-star unit

Paradise in Kihei

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kihei Surfside condominium. We thought the family atmosphere was great. The facility was comfortable and the extra options like BBQ and bocci Ball were nice.

Fantastic View!

We did love the stay at this condo. But unfortunately we relied on trade winds to keep us cool, since there is no air conditioning in these units. As much as the view was great, we will next time stay where there is A/C. The staff were friendly. The laundry room was very small, considering a large condominium. Other than that, we still give it a 4 star.

Great Location

The Surfside was in the perfect location for snorkeling, beachcombing and relaxing above the tide pools. The lawn in front of the building was well used by shuffleboard players, golf putters, bocci ball enthusiasts, glider launchers, ukulele troups and even a bagpipe player. There was ample parking and the room and lanai were perfect.

The Location is strictly 5 Star

As was the case of the renter before us, still no respite from the remodel going on next door. The remodel of #211 was surely an improvement and done well. However, we found some of the details of room management a little wanting. Hopefully, with our help, most of the odds and ends were addressed (or will be after we left). But there is no denying that this is ultimately the best location on Maui. Close to the best beach on Maui, Keawakapu, is a great walk each day and provides for many hours of sunbathing, snorkeling and swimming. And, if you don't much appreciate the sand in your suit, Kihei Surfside has an awesome lawn on which one can lay back all day to read or sun-bathe (even nap). Only minutes away from some of the greatest golf courses in Hawaii as well as restaurants. Kihei is the place to be on Maui and the Surfside is at the top of our list (having stayed at this locale for over 20 years).

Perfect location, perfect vacation

This unit was so wonderful to stay in! The location cannot be beat. The view of the ocean is amazing and I really enjoyed the sprawling lawns in front of the building as well. I have stayed at the Mana Kai next door many times as well, but this location is even better! You still get to enjoy the same amazing beach and eat at the 5 palms restaurant as they are just a few steps away! It was peaceful with great views of the sunset. The condo was clean and the resort staff that greeted us upon arrival were incredibly helpful and nice. I would stay at this place again in a heart beat. The bed and couch were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. This was one of my favorite locations I have stayed in Kihei. Perfection!

10 days in Maui

We stayed at the Kihei Surfside for 10 days and had a wonderful stay! We stayed in unit 211 and everything was great! The condo was neat and clean, had everything we needed. All building staff were very helpful and accommodating; made us feel very welcome. We have stayed at the Kihei Surfside in the past and will certainly go back. The building grounds are immaculate and right next door is likely one of the best beaches, (great snorkelling and lots turtles to see). All building amenities were perfect working order and available. It's a perfect staging location to enjoy the whole island, lots of restaunts etc nearby. Watching the sunsets on the lawn are fabulous!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

If location is important to you, then the Kihei Surfside is where you want to be. We sit right on the ocean and you can either lay on the grassy area, on the beach or snorkel with the turtles. The Kihei Surfside has a HUGE and beautiful grass lawn with a swimming pool, BBQ, lawn chairs, shuffle board, putting and games. We are perfectly situated between Kihei and Wailea, so there's lots of shopping and dining nearby. There is no nicer location and we have just completed a 100% remodel and so it's the nicest unit around. But the most important feature of our condo is location, location, location.
