This is a really smartly designed nice little flat, kitted out with everything necessary for a few comfortable days on the south coast. Sea views and lots of hot water! Highly recommended
Lovely property, very well appointed. Enjoyed our stay very much. It is a very narrow stairway and on 3rd floor so if we booked again I would pack much less and take a smaller suitacase, can't be helped and is expected in the town centre. Otherwise central to everything's.
The apartment had everything we wanted including a sea view. The living area was spacious and comfortable, the shower in the bathroom was excellent and the bed very comfortable. It had very obviously been recently refurbished. We were right in the middle of St Leonards to the west and old town Hastings to the east. We caught the train to Rye which was lovely and drove to Dungeness which was one of the reasons for our journey south. We would definitely recommend this property.
Perfect seaside break - breakfast views of sea and beach
Excellent apartment in a friendly local area (cafes, restaurants, deli, cheese shop and music shop) Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, high speed internet and lots of space for 2 people. Host is very friendly, communicates well and the check in process (lock box) is easy to follow. Perfect break, only 10 minutes walk to Hastings station so ideal for those using public transport for a holiday
Amazing location lovely little flat exactly where it should be close enough for all the attractions but not so close so you feel like your on top of it all will be booking again definitely Big thank you to Pauline who went out of her way to help also xx
Claremont flat 3 was a fabulous experience: gorgeous vista, extremely central , just a stoneâs throw from the old town or the fish market! You find everything you need in terms of comfort and appliances. It is stylishly furbished and will definitely be a must-go in the future. A delightful stay altogether.
Kind regards,
Claire-Sophie
Please donât let the outside put you off this apartment when you pull up. Once inside it is beautiful. Yes there are stairs to climb but it keeps you fit. There is a sea view from the lounge window. The decor in the apartment is modern, arty and colourful, we loved the bathroom. There everything you need in the apartment. Bed is very comfortable, selection of pillows to use.
This trip was meant to include my wife and myself, but unfortunately her visa was delayed and her trip had to be cancelled at the last minute. Since the main purpose for our planned visit was my brotherâs wedding, I made the trip alone.
I did share the details of the accommodation with my wife via video call, and we could not have been happier with this choice. Everything was as described and the place was spotlessly clean. The many thoughtful touches, like tea and coffee, extra heating if needed, and so on, were very much appreciated. The decor and appointments were also tastefully chosen and comfortable.
As for location, for me it worked perfectly and is very convenient for the centre of town. Parking is limited (no surprise in a British town centre) so what I did was to leave my hire car at my brotherâs home and use buses and taxis to get around town. The bus service is excellent.
All in all, I had a wonderful stay. I did get an opportunity to visit accommodations that other family members had booked, and they were not up to the standard of this property.
I highly recommend this property, and hope to stay here again on future visits. I know my wife will love it when she is eventually able to make the trip with me.
This apartment was in a good location for a short weekend in the Hastings area. Good facilities and as described on the website. Located in the new part of Hastings and short walk to the more picturesque old town.
Positives -
Spotlessly clean modern
Great location 10/15 mins walk to old town
Communication with owner quick responses Recommended places to eat, helpful hints and how to best get to places
lovely view of the sea
Car park right next to property ÂŁ8 for 24 hours
Negativeâs -
Bed slightly hard for our liking
Would have been nice to have a mirror in the bedroom when i wanted to dry my hair
Hand towels slightly bleach stained
Would have liked to have seen information on how the apartment was cleaned due to covid eg leaflets , information, sign etc
Overall we enjoyed a lovely stay here and would recommend to others
On the plus side the flat was very well situated for access to everything which Hastings has to offer. It was within easy walking distance of all amenities. It is also well equipped in terms of kitchen etc. Unfortunately we had a few issues, most of which were sorted and the property manager was very helpful. However a broken window handle in the bedroom did not get fixed and meant the bedroom was just too hot to sleep in. The flat is on the 3rd floor and not being able to open the only window which looked like a plausible exit in a fire was not a great situation.
Property nice and clean, sea view like it says in description. Great communication with the owner. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank you
We loved staying here. It was a super well kept and modern apartment with a beautiful bath and comfy bed. Angela was very good with us, texting to make sure everything was good. It's located so close to the beach but also railway station and town. We could walk everywhere. Loved it.

Paul and I love to travel. Paul grew up in Wales and I in Texas. We return to Britain often.
When Paul was a young man, he visited Hastings and thought he would come back one day. It is one of our favorite places to end our trip when we are abroad (meaning from Texas!). We enjoy the music scene, fun festivals, the various parks and the seafront, and the seafood. There is always something fun going on in Hastings!
Hastings is less than 2 hours from London by train and less by car. There is a direct train from Gatwick Airport. The apartment is centrally located to Hastings old town and Saint Leonards on the Sea. The area is a very walkable. You can choose the quick tunnel link to Hastings Old Town or a leisurely walk along the seaside promenade. Rent a bike and cycle by the sea - jump on the train and visit other nearby seaside towns. There are music venues, festivals, seaside enjoyments, and fresh fish you can buy at the fish market every day! Bakeries, coffee shops and cheese! There are also numerous antique shops, gardens, and views to discover. Hastings of course also has a history and its own castle to visit. There is always something fun going on and its always pleasant to be by the sea. View it from our front window!
