Rustique 2 Chambres Stable Nord. Dog & Family Friendly au coeur des Kent Downs

Notre maison familiale - Crabtree Farm, est une ferme classée du 18ème siècle classée Grade II située à la périphérie du village rural de Hastingleigh, une région d’une beauté naturelle exceptionnelle située dans les Kent Downs. Nous avons deux confortables écuries converties, le nord et le sud; les deux s'appuyant sur 10 acres de beaux champs ouverts.

Les écuries converties ont tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour un séjour confortable à la campagne. Sortez et respirez l'air frais, découvrez des lapins sauvages, admirez le plus beau des levers et couchers de soleil et assistez à de belles nuits étoilées.

Crabtree Farm est située le long d'une route de campagne tranquille et est entourée de la meilleure campagne d'Angleterre, avec de nombreuses promenades, promenades et attractions (une abondance de sites patrimoniaux et de lieux de divertissement pour les familles). Avec un court trajet en voiture / promenade, vous êtes dans la réserve naturelle nationale de Wye - un endroit pour découvrir une faune spectaculaire, des sentiers de randonnée et des vues panoramiques.

Bien que situé dans un endroit vraiment rural, nous sommes à une courte distance en voiture de Wye - 8 minutes, Ashford et Canterbury - 20 minutes, de Folkestone et des falaises blanches de Douvres - 35 minutes. Les fabuleuses stations balnéaires de Whitstable, Broadstairs, Ramsgate et Deal sont à environ 45 minutes de route.

Le village historique de Wye est à seulement 4,8 km. Vous y trouverez des pubs gastronomiques, des restaurants, des boulangeries, des boucheries, un fantastique café et un magasin général bien approvisionné ouvert 7 jours sur 7. Il y a aussi un marché de producteurs chaque samedi.

Notre local préféré a été un pub de l'année, 3 ans de suite - Le Bowl Inn est à 5-10 minutes à pied.

Stunning location and 5 star holiday let

This is the most gorgeous holiday let beautifully decorated with all mod cons, stunning furnishings and attention to detail. Andrew was so welcoming and helpful and the little extras such as organic teas and coiffee and eco cleaning products showed just how much they care. The location is fantastic just minutes from the iconic Devils Kneading Trough and surrounded by other beauty spots on the North Downs. It is such a relaxing place to stay and hope to be back.

Excellent location and friendly hosts.

Beautiful location, friendly hosts and ideal base for exploring Kent. Lovely grounds for dogs to exercise and infant to play. Cottage has everything we needed, including a few extras from the hosts (e.g. milk, bread and pain au chocolat on first morning).

Sorry but we would not book this property again

The property needs renervating which should have been reflected in the price. Also it was not very clean.

So sorry to hear you were unhappy, we do pride ourselves on cleanliness and have a very dedicated house keeper, however the place is due renovation and this is taking place throughout November.

Fantastic relaxing location

We stayed at the North Stable which was beautifully comfortable and fully equipped for a relaxing break. The North Stable is also suitable to bring your dog which was a real bonus for us, the outside space was enclosed and fully dog friendly and the fields and surrounding area just ideal for long walks and exploring. The accommodation was just perfect and so quiet and comfortable, we would definitely be recommending this to our family and friends and be returning again in the near future. Thanks for such a warm welcome and a wonderful, relaxing stay. Steve & Ida (and Sky the boarder collie)

Great Summer Getaway

We wanted a base with access to coast and countryside and the North Stable was the perfect match. We all enjoyed walking along the North Downs and exploring the South Coast. The property was really clean and well equipped. We did a mix of self-catering and eating out, with plenty choices a short drive away. Thanks very much for a great holiday!

Fantastic setting

Rachael and Andy could not have been more welcoming, the grounds are fantastic and have everything for children including a trampoline, Badminton set, outdoor toys and a field to run around it. There are beaches about 30 mins drive in every direction. A great place for a very relaxing holiday.

We had a wonderfull week

Ruime vakantiewoning, rustig en mooi gelegen op het platteland. Naar trekpleisters is het dus altijd een beetje rijden maar altijd langs verrassende en prachtige routes. Huis is van alle comfort voorzien, het keukenmateriaal mag iets uitgebreider. Mooie tuin, goed verzorgd. Top!

If you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle then this is the place. Rolling countryside, great walks and views and birdsound all around you. Great facilities for dog owners as well.

We would definitely return. Also we recommend it to others. Owners gave a friendly welcome. One down side the fridge is too small. You would struggle to put food in it if you was staying for a week. Could do with more fridge space. Apart from that perfect.

Lovely pet friendly 2 bed cottage in Kent.

Nice friendly welcome on arrival. The Granary was clean and well maintained. The layout and facilities were exactly as we expected. Our dog loved her walks in the adjacent paddocks. We particularly liked Wye just three miles away and visited the Farmers Market on Saturday and dined at the Tickled Trout pub. Would recommend property to friends.

Perfect second Home

A perfect place that feels like a second Home. Very friendly people helping to feel at Home right away. The road to Cantebury is a dream, so nice. Forget al the hotels in the city, book this.

Crabtree Farm is our family home, and an 18th century Grade II listed farmhouse located in area of outstanding natural beauty high up in the Kent Downs, on the outskirts of the rural village of Hastingleigh. We have a selection of modern rustic holidays lets: The two converted North & South Stables, the Granary, and a bell tent (available in the summer), all backing onto ten acres of beautiful open fields.

We’re a family of four – The husband Andrew (a Yorkshire lad originally from the small fishing village Filey), the wife Rachel (the jewellery designer of www.racheljacksonlondon.com from Leyland in Lancaster), two beautiful children River and Herbie, the pampered, long-haired Dachshund Rafferty and two cats Dotty and Ziggy.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you into our home.
