The views were amazing. I enjoyed the peacefulness and openness of the property. It was very close to the little town and a scenic drive back to pigeon forge and the trails. I would definitely stay there again.

It’s hard to cook meals so plan accordingly. It’s also hard to locate after dark. Freezer wasn’t useable. No coffee cups, only tea cups.

We enjoyed the beautiful property and had no issues. One thing to be aware of is that in the main bedroom I could hear the owner who lives right below that area (I assume). All was well but you should be aware of that.

Property was absolutely beautiful with horses, carriages, chickens and surrounded by majestic mountains. Jeff, the owner was very personable, polite and helpful in making us feel at home, part of the family and telling us good places to go and eat. We had a great time, perfect vacation and will definitely stay there again!

The Upper Threshold Country Manor was a great stay for three nights. We were in town to go over choices for my son's and future daughter-in-law wedding next fall.The grounds at the Country Manor were amazing and will be the perfect wedding venue!

The Threshold Suites at the Country Manor in October 6-9 2026. The positives were the location which was close to Cades Cove in the Smokies. The property itself is on a beautiful setting. with view of the smokies. NegativesThe suite itself needs some serious attention. We are not picky people, but there are just some things that are expected when paying the amount we paid for a 3 night stay. Walked in our room and immediately had to kill 3 bugs that were crawling on the inside of our window through an opening where the window a/c unit is attached. The a/c unit was filthy. We couldn't turn it on. All the extra blankets in both rooms were definitely unwashed and smelled awful. We could feel the springs in the mattress. It was old with a divot down the middle. After seeing these things we decided to check our pillows since the room itself did not seem clean. The pillows were completely stained with who knows what and one had what appeared to be blood on it. They were disgusting. Coffee pot looked 30 yrs old. Also filthy and I had to wash it several times. They left a dirty sponge for us to do dishes and 3 papers on a paper towel roll for our stay. Ceiling fan was completely dusty along with other places in the room. Some of the bathing towels smelled musty after first use. I don't know why it's called a bed & breakfast. There was no breakfast that we knew of during our stay.

Spring Break

The property at Country manor is beautiful. We stayed 3 nights during our spring break in the upper threshold suite. Room was large with a great view of the property. Not completely private but still worth the stay.

Beautiful retreat is calming respite in bustling location.

The building was amazing! Clean room with great views. Despite the proximity to all the tourism a person could ever ask for (and more), the property will make you feel as though you are in a remote location far from the calamity.
