We love this villa - it's in a great location, an easy 15 minute walk from town, and is very spacious, well equipped and furnished, and the outside space and pool are lovely. We will definitely book again.

Stunning family villa

The villa was equipped with literally everything you could think of. The bedrooms were bright and spacious . The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen, dining space and sitting room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The large table tennis table and workout area in the basement was an added bonus! Our host Gabriella was informative and friendly. My family and I had the perfect stay here, I would highly recommend this villa.

Fine location

Walkable distance from center of Lagos and beautiful Porto do Mos beach. Quiet location. It would have been nice to have owners manual for hob, oven and microwave. We looked for them as per welcome booklet, but could not find them in vila.

We are sorry that you were not able to find the manuals. Our summer break

We were a family of four and the villa was absolutely perfect for us. Our two children at their own rooms with double beds. It is very clean and modern and well equipped, it has lovely lemon, lime and an apple tree within the grounds. The residential area it's situated in is very quiet and peaceful and only a short walk to the local supermarket and about 20 minute walk from the nearest beach. Communication with the agent was excellent and they always responded to our questions and concerns promptly. This was very much a home from home and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone travelling to Lagos. It was perfect!

Lovely spacious villa

Thanks to very clear directions, we found the villa really easily. Someone met us at the there and gave us a guided tour - very helpful and friendly. Plenty of info in the villa about local things to do. All the amenities we could need as a family of 5. Very spacious , light and airy. Great to have a bathroom for each room. Everything was very well maintained and clean. At the time of year we visited we only braved the pool a couple of times - we visited at the end of March. In the summer I can imagine it would be a lovely relief! The outside area was very private and the local area was quiet and felt very safe. There was a little park and football area a couple of minutes walk away which the younger kids loved. With 3 kids (9, 15, 16), the walk into the main town / restaurant area was a very pleasant 15-20 minute stroll. Plenty of lovely restaurants to find. Supermarket was about 5 minute walk away, and there is bakery close by too. Would highly recommend staying in this villa.

Fabulous property in a fantastic town

We have been enjoying villa holidays around Europe and the USA for many years, and the whole family agreed that this was the best villa that we have stayed in to date - it was large and beautifully furnished, and the pool was perfect. Impressive as they look, the photographs really don't do it justice. The property is in a great location, an easy 20 minute walk from Lagos town centre, which is a really vibrant town, full of lovely restaurants, bars and shops. Five minutes drive in the other direction (it was a bit too hot and hilly to walk) you'll find the most glorious beaches in the Algarve. Although they were busy in August, they were never packed. If you are going, make sure that you take a trip round the grottos by boat or kayak (we did the latter), and if you can bear to get up at 6am on holiday, head for Camillo beach at sunrise - we had the whole beach to ourselves and it was truly magical. Destination Algarve were very responsive before our trip, and the lady from the company who met us on arrival was lovely. All in all, a five star experience, and we would not hesitate to recommend this property to others.

August Stay at Destination Algarve Villa

We stayed at the Villa for a week at the beginning of August. The villa is very well laid out with plenty of space. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and each room has blackout shutters. The Kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs. There is a large supermarket less than 10 minutes walk away. The pool gets sunshine all day long. The nearest beach is about 1.5km away. The area around the villa is very quiet and peaceful. We used ubers/ taxis to go in and out of town which were cheap and very reliable.. It was our second time staying at a Destination Algarve Villa and I would have no hesitation of returing to them for any stay in the future. Paula (Ireland)

Modern villa with very comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms. Well equipped for all your needs. Any down side was the pool was extremely cold and should be heated included in cost.

Uitstekend vakantieverblijf

Met twee stellen hebben wij genoten van dit comfortabele huis. Fijn met een zwembad om af te koelen na een warme dag. Een aanrader! Lagos is een leuk stadje om te verblijven. Heeft nog een authentieke binnenstad.

Great house loads of space and great location. Easy walk into town and lovely to have our own pool

The property was modern clean and had everything you could want to make the stay comfortable . We had a mini heatwave whilst here but we had a fab pool and air con and a superb supermarket 10 mins walk away so weren’t affected by it . I would very much recommend staying here .

We had a great and very relaxing holiday at the Villa. The facilities were truly excellent, and the Villa was exceptionally clean. The Rep was also very thorough and went through everything in detail. I am definitely considering returning in the near future. Only a very minor gripe in that we could have done with more towels.

Fantstic villa

This is a beautiful villa in a quiet part of Lagos. The property is immaculate, clean and well maintained. The outside area and pool are delightful and make for a fantastic holiday base. The facilities are exceptional and suited all our needs. Really it would be impossible to find fault. Whilst a car is not essential, we found it useful as the main centre is a good 20/25 minute walk (we had an eldery parent with us). However the taxi service in the area is efficient and easy to use. Lagos has lots to see and do - and is within easy reach of many outstandinf beaches and other destinations. We booked through Destination Algrave, whom I would not hesitate to recommend or use again. The service from start to finish has been exceptional. Thank you for a great holiday.

Excellent Atmosphere

When we arrived late Sunday night, the fridge was filled with a few essentials. We didn't have to worry about breakfast the next morning! We were 5 people staying there, but the house offers a lot of room! Especially the open kitchen and the large living room with this super comfortable couch played a big part in our vacation! Sadly, the weather wasn't that great with lots of cloudy days and a little bit of rain. However, the house made up for it and we had a really good time!

We arrived via a very good airport pick-up arranged by the villa owner and were cordially greeted by her. The Villa is quite exeptional . It is roomy, clean, light and airy and the pool is a delight. It is within walking distance of a supermarket and the town of Lagos. Beaches were a little bit more problematic since our party consisted of children aged 20 and 2 months and two grandparents in their seventies. Transport in this respect would be usefull. Thank you for the feedback - we do like to make sure we take as much hassle away as possible before your arrival especially when there are 2 little ones - not just when you have reached Lagos. Yes we also think that the shortest walking time to the beach (via a shortcut) which is only 15 minutes is not really suitable for pushing a buggy however there is the road way which is a little longer. Its great to hear that 3 generations enjoyed their stay at the villa.
