Villa Camillo - Emplacement incroyable et vrai luxe à Lagos

Villa Camilo est une villa de luxe contemporaine située dans un endroit exceptionnellement beau sur le promontoire de Ponta da Piedade et à distance de marche de Lagos.

La villa est finie à un niveau très élevé avec des sols en pierre, des tapis moelleux, des sièges intérieurs et extérieurs confortables, un feu de gaz, une cuisine de haute qualité, une piscine à débordement et un bain à remous sur le toit avec vue sur la mer. Chaque chambre est en suite avec une terrasse. Les espaces de vie et de couchage sont répartis sur un seul niveau.

Dehors, il y a un certain nombre de terrasses, de toits et de jardins séparés pour la détente privée et les bains de soleil, une piscine à débordement avec vue sur la mer et un espace barbecue à gaz.

Autour de la villa se trouvent les plus belles plages, falaises dorées et formations rocheuses de l'Algarve, y compris la plage de Camilo (4 min à pied) (saluée par le Huffington Post comme la plus belle plage du monde!), Praia de Dona Ana (10 min à pied), le phare de Ponta da Piedade et la promenade de la falaise (9 min). La villa est à seulement 20 minutes à pied du centre historique de Lagos.

L'emplacement est le point de départ de certaines des plus belles pistes de marche, de course et de vélo au Portugal et une base idéale pour le golf et les sports nautiques.

Le restaurant le plus proche est l'excellent restaurant de fruits de mer, O Camilo, (2 minutes à pied) mais il y en a beaucoup d'autres à distance de marche et un grand choix autour de Lagos.


S'IL VOUS PLAÎT NOTE POUR 2020 la plupart des villas de ce nouveau développement sont terminées mais quelques-unes sont encore en construction. Il n'y a actuellement aucune construction en cours juste à côté de la Villa, mais cela pourrait changer. Les prix indiqués sont réduits de 10% à la lumière de cela.

Terrific villa in excellent location.

The villa is very comfortable (6 in our party), beautifully designed and is well appointed with views and access to beaches and town. The centerpiece is the elevated infinity pool.

Fabulous stay

House is gorgeous and sizable. Short walk - very short- to beach and boardwalks to view coastline. Lovely town with lots of great restaurants and beautiful golf courses in the area. We will be back.

Simply Perfect

This is a fantastic house in a great location. The house is clean, modern, and spacious with lots of natural light. The kitchen is well stocked, and the grill is a nice option for cooking outdoors. The air conditioning provided some welcome relief from the high outdoor temperatures, as did the swimming pool. We loved watching the birds stop by the pool to cool off.Our host was warm, welcoming a very responsive to any requests.The property is just a short walk from beach and the boardwalks that skirt the cliffs. It is just a 15 minute walk into town and a short drive to a nearby supermarket. The house sits in a small community of about 23 similarly designed modern homes.We really could not have asked for a better home for our family vacation.

This property is absolutely amazing.The villa has been tastefully designed to extremely high standard's.Lots of time and thought has gone into this villa. In an exclusive estate.Everything and everyone in our family were catered for.Some traffic and building work but did not bother us.Kitchen had everything and more you need and even gave us dishwasher and washing tablets as well as plenty of oils,sauces etcMore than enough plates and cutlery,saucepans etc.Powerful showers and toilet flush.Garden beautiful,pool a good size for all to enjoy including the birds!A good quality table tennis table was very much enjoyedPlenty of areas to sit and relax on different levels of the villa.Good quality wifi and tvClose to some of the best walking wooden paths and beaches in the Algrave.Walking distance to town of lagos which has many bars,shops,markets and restaurants,a castle,churches and marina.I highly recommend.

We had a perfect week in this wonderful villa. Everything was so amazing and the villa is very comfortable, clean, beautiful and it has everything you need for a perfect vacation. Great holiday home

Really good holiday home near Lagos. Top quality property just as impressive as the pictures suggest. Great for families and/or friends. Very nice pool area, with the bonus of a hot tub on the roof. The local area has a lot of construction, but this was never loud or disruptive. It's about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Lagos with some great restaurants on the way. Would definitely stay again!

Superb Villa

We had a fabulous 1 week stay, Villa was spacious and well equipped. Pool on the same level as living area was great. Perfect location. There are building works nearby but they did not encroach on our enjoyment. The property manager Maria was extremely responsive and any issues were delt with quickly and professionally. Would happily return to this Villa!

Family holidays in Portugal

We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Camillo - as our 1st trip to the Algarve. Villa was just as beautiful as listing and the surrounding area was so convenient and easy for beaches, restaurants and interesting activities. We did Sea kayaking locally which was a perfect way to see the coast and enjoyed several beach trips. Our local agent Maria was so helpful on local restaurant bookings and activities as well needs in the house - like extra towels or bike pumps - she was brilliant. We loved the relaxing space and beautiful arrangement of the house with lots of different terraces /places to eat and relax as well as gorgeous pool and hot tub. Even with some building works nearby (which we were totally expecting so not a problem) it was just such a relaxing and wonderful holiday at Villa Camillo. Thank you

Lagos villa

Exceptional villa in great location, short walk to restaurants and beaches. Some of the outside chairs were stained and some had bird droppings on them, which we would not expect for such a high end villa. No-one was there to greet us or explain anything about the villa, air con, alarm, safe didn't work. I contacted agent, but struggled with the key box until a passing man opened it for us (he, it turned out was the agents boss!) everything very high tech, difficult to understand oven controls. Pool very chic, but very cold. Very spacious, ample seating areas. Quite a bit of sand blew in from nearby building. Had booking issues with VRBO, which were resolved after a lot of time spent on the phone.

5 star villa with shortcomings

Villa 5++ star Pool 2 star Location 3 star Local customer service 1 star The villa is fantastic with its contemporary design and super quality fixtures and fittings. The furnishings, kitchen, table and drinkware are all to a high standard making it a genuine home from home experience. The pool was cold. It looks stunning, with three sides having an infinity style design, but according to the pool guy this design makes it impossible to heat (the heating was off anyway). We like a fairly seamless transition from air to water, not a thermal shock, and we could only gawp with envy as the neighbouring villa electronically retracted its pool cover to reveal vapour wafting upwards from the heated water. We therefore didn't use the pool but the sea (Atlantic) felt warm by comparison. Service from the local representatives was poor. We'd pre-arranged to arrive at the villa at 18:30 and arrived exactly on time. The representative was present to let us in but she was waiting for the cleaner who had the keys to the bedding and towels. We had to hang around for an hour waiting for the cleaner to arrive. We wanted to use the safe provided but the representative didn't have the code. She advised she'd text us the code later that evening but we're still waiting for her text. Departure is at 10:00 and the representative should arrive at 09:30 for handover. At 11:00 we texted to find out where she was but we're still waiting for a response to that text too. We left and put the keys in the keysafe. There was some building work going on. We knew about the potential of that but it was still disappointing that work was from 7am to 7pm and that the vacant plot adjacent was used as the dumping ground for excavations resulting in a steady cloud of dust. Would we return? Probably not. Aside from the pool temperature the local vicinity isn't great (walk from villa to the Spar) and Lagos is disappointing so our quest for the ideal holiday location continues.

Thank you for your feedback and 5star review of the villa. We are seeking infinity pool heating solutions for 2020 and expect that construction will continue to reduce over the next 12 months. We can’t do anything about Lagos but we’re not sure we’d want to!!

Sehr grosszügig, elegant, Bauhausstil, Fensteraussichten auf einen Infinitypool , das Meer und eine wunderschöne Frühlingsblumenwiese sowie ein mediteraner Garten, der im Eingangsbereich futuristisch, puristisch ist. Es blieb kein Wunsch offen! Jederzeit wieder!

Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt in dieser schönen Villa mit Liegeterrasse und erhöhtem Pool mit Sicht auf die Landschaft und das Meer! Besonders auch den Wirlpool auf dem Dach! Es hat alles wunderbar funktioniert und die Betreuung war für alles besorgt. Einziger kleiner Störfaktor war die Baustelle hinter dem Haus.

Stunning Villa

Thank You for letting us use your amazing villa - just perfect in every way. We could walk to 3 Beautiful beaches and also into Largos town itself. The views from the Patio just stunning and sitting in the hot tub felt on top of the world - A family of 5 3 teenagers who are very active so enjoyed the Bikes and the boardwalk up to the Lighthouse also a few tournaments on the table tennis table - Would highly recommend

The area surrounding the villas is probably the most photographed in Portugal - the beaches, cliff formations and walks around Ponte de Piedade are stunningly beautiful. Despite this you can still walk to Lagos centre in approximately 20 minutes. This is a real gem.
