Judy thank you for your review. The apartment does not have air-conditioning, you would struggle to find an apartment in the UK with this facility. During your time in York we have been experiencing a 'heat wave' with temperatures reaching levels that the UK does not normally have.

Thank you for the great review. We have tried to equip the apartment with all that anyone would need for a city break. We believe that our ‘meet and greet’ service works very well and gives our guests the opportunity to ask any questions they may have regarding their stay in our apartment and in York. Having private gated car parking within York’s city walls which is included within our nightly fee is always well received by our guests and is a huge benefit, when parking in the city can be difficult to find and expensive.

Sarah thank you for taking the time to write a review. We provide a small amount of milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits so that our guests are able to make a hot drink on arrival. The milk is always provided fresh on check-in days. We’re sorry that you thought the milk was “off” and had you let either myself or Amanda know we would have replaced it immediately. This is a self-catering apartment but we leave pastries, juice and a small amount of butter and jam to save our guests having to buy these themselves for short stays. We do not provide bread etc, as we can’t cater for everyone’s different tastes, but there is a Sainsbury's local just around the corner. We have tried our best to make the apartment homely so that our guests feel it’s a 'home from home'. We provide a bath mat to step on-to out of the bath, but due to the covi-19 situation we are not currently providing a rubber mat for in the bath, however one could have been provided if you had specifically requested one from either myself or Amanda. There is a picture of the bathroom on the web site, the bath is a normal domestic bath and has a handle on either side. Unfortunately, this apartment did not meet your disability requirements, but we do not advertise that it caters for disabilities. We otherwise hope you enjoyed your say in our apartment and found its central location and secure allocated covered parking beneficial.
