Nous sommes heureux d'annoncer que la piscine Village Walk Phase 1 est maintenant chauffée!
Ouverte, lumineuse et aérée, cette maison nouvellement construite appelée «With a Splash» porte bien son nom avec ses quatre chambres et 4 1/2 salles de bains pouvant facilement accueillir 11 personnes. Au premier étage, une chambre lit king-size avec salle de bain complète donne le ton aux chambres et bains de luxe et est accessible depuis une entrée privée. Au rez-de-chaussée, vous trouverez un salon idéal pour regarder la télévision, jouer à des jeux ou simplement vous détendre tout en regardant la piscine. Il comprend également un canapé-lit queen pour un couchage supplémentaire et une kitchenette. Au deuxième étage, vous trouverez deux suites King Master ainsi qu'une chambre supplémentaire contenant un lit Queen et un lit mezzanine au-dessus. Cette chambre a également sa propre salle de bain complète et une douche dans le couloir. Les planchers de bois magnifiquement conçus créent une ambiance agréable aux deuxième et troisième étages. La laveuse et la sécheuse sont également situées au deuxième étage. Pour compléter la fabuleuse cuisine située au troisième étage, il y a une table à manger de ferme construite sur mesure pouvant accueillir 14 personnes et une télévision de 55 pouces dans le salon avec son surround pour le rassemblement de la famille pendant les heures du soir. Complétez le tout avec une terrasse extérieure pour voir l'océan et les couchers de soleil spectaculaires du soir, et la seule chose qui pourrait améliorer cela est l'ascenseur qui vous mènera au dernier étage. Dehors, il y a un parking pour deux dans le garage avec un parking pour trois autres véhicules dans l'allée. Toutes les chambres ont des fonctionnalités personnalisées et une télévision dans les chambres. La piscine privée située à l'extérieur a également accès à un demi-bain sur le pont extérieur. De nombreux branchements électriques à l'intérieur de la maison et un système de déshumidification central fourniront certainement une grande attraction également, faisant de cette propriété un grand succès cet été. Avant de vous rendre à Port Aransas / Village Walk, veuillez planifier le nombre correct de véhicules que vous conduisez conformément aux règles ci-dessous:

1) Avec A Splash, la VW 60 propose 4 places de parking pavées, 3 dans l'allée et 1 dans le garage, pour 4 véhicules de taille moyenne. Si vous louez une voiturette de golf, elle doit tenir dans l'un de vos 4 espaces.

2) Des étiquettes de stationnement seront fournies par Port Aransas Escapes Vacation Rentals.

3) Tous les véhicules doivent être stationnés dans l'allée de VW 60. Pas de stationnement dans la rue, pas de stationnement dans les zones rouges et pas de stationnement dans les autres allées du Village Walk

4) Aucun bateau, remorque, bus, camping-car n'est autorisé dans la promenade du village

5) Le remorquage sera strictement appliqué

great family get-away

comfortable, clean house that met our needs. kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. great floor plan, comfortable beds, good location - great views of the ocean especially from the rooftop deck. 1/2 mile drive to the beach - no walking access to the beach - not a big deal though. Pool was convenient - but could have been cleaner - a lot of debris and sand. pool cleaning service came by toward end of our stay but left sand in the pool. clothes dryer didn't seem to dry clothes very well.

Coming back to ‘With a Splash’

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This amazing rental has 3 king bedrooms and a bunk room, which is hard to find, an elevator, and a beautiful pool. It just doesn’t get any better than that for our family. We enjoyed a short golf cart ride to the beach and also loved that we could walk out the back and swim in our own pool. Bedrooms were down stairs so some could sleep and others could visit upstairs. The view from the 3rd floor balcony was perfect, but the view from the roof was amazing! The open floor plan on the third floor was just right for our extended family of ten. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept and when we needed anything the management team was quick to respond with a solution. We are definitely coming back to this property in the future.

Beach weekend

This is the perfect house for a large family or group. There were 7 adults and one toddler and we all had enough room to spread out. House might be a problem for people who can’t handle climbing stairs but there is an elevator although not all areas are accessible unless by stairs. The kitchen is fully stocked so no need to bring anything except for food. Master bed sheets didn’t quite fit but we made it work. House decor is lovely and the furniture very comfortable and we loved having our own pool. Beach is a long walk away so you will need a golf cart or vehicle to get there, easy drive there though!

Beautiful property with private pool!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we loved the property and having a private pool all to ourselves was amazing! It was beautifully decorated and furnished with plenty of dishes, comfortable beds and seats for everyone. Having a garage to store beach stuff was fantastic! I wish there had been a few more bath towels (only 1 per person) and beach access (boardwalk to the beach). When I clicked "beach access" and "beach view" on the website, this property came up, but I discovered the website reads the filters as "or" not "and" so it was showing me properties with beach access OR beach view (not both). The elevator also makes some noise even when not in use. Most of the rooms could not hear it, but the first floor bedroom could and it woke me up hourly the first night until I got some earplugs. The microwave/vent hood above the stove doesn't seem to work, but they also have a counter microwave. Overall, we liked it but probably wouldn't stay there again due to having to drive to the beach.

Great location, great service.

The property was just as described. Very nice and clean inside. Having a pool was great. Very close to the beach. Definitely get a golf cart rental to keep your car sand free and to make bringing gear to the beach easy. There was an initial issue with the AC and the management company bent over backwards to get it fixed. The only downside was no beach or pool towels. I bought a couple cheap ones at the store. Overall, a great experience!

Short and terrible stay

Zero response to questions with property. No parking passes provided. Washing machine was broken. Had to use another rental property to do our laundry. Elevator sometimes worked. When getting ready to leave for checkout we have delivery truck parked in front of our cars so we could. It leave They were delivering a new washer. Nobody informed of this delivery and the guys just walked in without asking. I hsd teenage boys taking showers when they just barged in . Also, dishes not work. Terrible stay.

Great Place for a Beach Stay

This house was setup nicely and had all the things you need to have a large group stay together. Beach towels on property would have been helpful, especially if you weren't driving and had to fly in. We had plenty of space and the decor was great!

Very nice house.

Property was nice and clean. It rain the whole time we were there. Only things that were bad was serval windows leaked and the bottom floor back door water leaked in but the house and area was great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was everything that we’d hoped for. It is a large house, you had to make sure that you had all your ducks in a row when you were leaving one floor to go to another, or you’d put in a lot of steps up and down. You could be lazy and use the elevator though. When we arrived the elevator was not working, our management team sent maintenance over within minutes. The team thought that they would need to order a part. I called back a couple days later and they actually sent the owner of the elevator company over in just a few minutes, he adjusted the electronic eyes and had it working soon after. Excellent service both from our management team and their employees!!! If you want a large, beautiful home to rent, this is it!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this home because it had the space we wanted for our extended family, especially in the kitchen. The pool was refreshing. While the space was nice, we experienced numerous maintenance issues. The management company was able to quickly remedy the propane, clothes dryer, and other small issues. However, this property needs maintenance. Ice machine continued to freeze, paint touch up is needed, and the sofas and chairs should be replaced as they have lost their bounce.Our big issue was with the main floor bedroom and sitting room. There was no closet, drawers, or cubbies, for our clothes. Only 6 hooks and a bench for shoes. We ended up living out of our suitcases. Additionally, the blinds are thin and did not block the light from the house next door. We had to hang a towel over the window to try to block the light.I also thought it was an odd choice of dishes that could only go in the top shelf of the dishwasher. We ended up using paper plates.We made it work but won’t stay here again.

Social Distancing Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at With a Splash and had a good experience. The home is large with 4 bedrooms. We appreciated that 3 of the 4 bedrooms had king beds and there was a bunk room for the kids. The top floor living space was perfect, large kitchen w. dining table and living room. We comfortably had 10 people at the table. The private pool was amazing, perfect for kids as there is a shallow shelf. There were a few things I think the property could improve upon. There was not hand soap at every sink. The dishwasher does not appear to work. While it would turn on and spray water, nothing got super clean or dry (even when heat dry used). We contacted the property management company multiple times and got no response. So be prepared to hand wash everything. Hopefully they will fix it. We also arrived right after the hurricane, and so I'm assuming the fact that there were a lot of bugs in the downstairs rooms (1st floor) is due to that, hopefully they will spray. The other thing to know about this home is that its not very close to the beach. You have a good view from top floors but there is no boardwalk. The walk to the beach is a little over 1/2 mile BUT when carrying lots of stuff/children walk isnt that easy. Right now you cant drive on the beach so we found the location a bit difficult. Luckily we found a parking lot on beach access road 1A (an RV park) with paid parking. So we paid $15 a day to park there so we didnt have to lug stuff 1/2 mile. It worked out well. Once you can drive on the beach again, i dont think location would be an issue at all. We would consider staying here again if the property management company fixed the above issues.

Beautiful Disappointment

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at WITH A SPLASH. Last time it was a pristine experience, so we had no issues with staying here again. There were only a couple of issues this time, but one was a pretty big deal. The elevator was inoperable from the moment we arrived and was not repaired during our stay. The issue was definitely addressed and they had maintenance come but were unable to fix it. An elevator company was reached out to, but nobody had arrived by the time we departed. This made things very difficult to have to carry our items up so many flights of stairs. One of our party actually fell down the stairs but she was luckily not seriously injured. The second issue was the freezers ice dispenser was frozen over and was not able to provide ice, nut that was not a huge issue.Had the elevator worked normally, this would have been another amazing experience. So I hope they had it repaired or at least advised the next renters that it was inoperable.All other aspects of the rental were amazing. Port A Escapes staff are very friendly and easy to work with.I am hoping this gets situated so we can consider giving it another chance next year. We shall see.

Family Reunion

We had a great time! Loved the decor and the pool was perfect. The elevator was great for parents in their 70s and for moving in/checking out. Loved the rooftop deck with ocean views. Great sunrises and the ocean breeze/crashing wave sounds were great for after dark socializing. We rented golf carts for trips back and forth to the beach. There is no beach access, but we knew that before we made the reservation. The carts were fun and kept our vehicles free of sand. Rated 4 stars only because the dishwasher was unusable secondary to mold so we just kept it closed and hand washed. The bed sheets were the other reason for 4 stars. They were were not soft and were actually noisy when they rubbed against each other. They were like a lightweight, canvas tarp. Otherwise, the beds were very comfortable.

Cute home but disappointed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is nice and well decorated. But upon arrival we were notified that the elevator was not working and someone would be by the next day to work on it. Not real fun when a family of 9 has to bring groceries up three flights of stairs. Also, after an hour of being there my one year old grandson's knees and tops of feet were so dirty from crawling on the 3rd floor. The dishwasher had mold on the inside. Management company did send someone over the next day to clean mold from the dishwasher and they said they would clean floor but we were all up there so I told them that was not convenient and we would deal with it (I took a paper towel and cleaned as much of floor as possible). I just feel for the price I paid and covid everything should have been cleaned by the time of check in. The units are so close together and the neighbor on the side of the bedrooms left the porch light on so the downstairs bedroom was like daylight all night. Tried putting up beach towels but did not help. The following morning I took grandkids out to private pool and found a dead mouse in it, management did send someone over to fish it out but pool company didn't come till next day to maintenance the pool. Overall, not our best experience with a VRBO.

Beautiful house

We were overall very happy with the house. It was clean and well stocked. We were very happy and comfortable for our stay! Our 1 disappointment was the neighborhood doesn’t have beach access which we took for granted we would have. We figured it’s so close it would be easily accessible. But sadly no. The pool however was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in With a Splash (many pieces of mermaid artwork explain the name). The location to town and beach are ideal. The view from the top deck is 360. The house is well designed, well appointed and comfortable.As might be expected in a rental property, the house’s interior shows some wear. Ideally, it would be nice to see an upgrade in the quality of bedding and cookware. Though we noticed these things, they really didin’t detract from our enjoyment very much.
