Deuxième étage, 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain complètes Bayfront, avec quai et glissement de bateau, 10 couchages (4 sur 2 canapés-lits dans les espaces communs). Grande chambre au niveau supérieur avec vue sur la baie sur deux côtés, donnant sur le grand pont supérieur. Salle de repos supplémentaire de 280 pieds carrés au niveau inférieur avec canapé-lit, porte coulissante ouvrant sur une grande terrasse inférieure, quai, glissement et vue sur la baie. À distance de marche de la jetée de pêche, de la marina, de la location de bateaux, des restaurants, du mini-golf et de tout ce que Ship Bottom a à offrir. Nagez, pêchez ou craquez sur le grand quai derrière la maison, ou garez votre bateau pour ces croisières au coucher du soleil. Profitez de couchers de soleil spectaculaires tous les jours sur les grands ponts supérieurs ou inférieurs, avec auvent entièrement rétractable, ou assis sur le quai ou le bain à remous. Planche à pagaie, kayak, flotteurs, croiseurs à vélo et badges de plage fournis pour votre plaisir. Il y a deux bordereaux de bateau, un qui peut être utilisé exclusivement par le locataire. Le propriétaire ne vit pas sur place, mais utilise périodiquement des bureaux administratifs en bas pendant la semaine, ou peut amarrer le bateau à l'occasion dans le deuxième feuillet.

Weekend Getaway

This is a nice house to rent for a weekend getaway with friends. Owners were nice and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in a restful weekend by the water.

Great Wedding Weekend

We attended a family wedding at Bonnett Island. The location was perfect. We had great grandparents, grandparents and moms and dads and the children all together. We had a great time. Loved the hot tub, the deck and the view. Thank you for a great weekend.

Perfect water view!

The views and location of this home are incredible! We used the provided kayaks and paddle boards and loved to be able to leave them right off the dock in the backyard. We saw incredible sunsets from the beautiful deck and hot tub. There are lots of restaurants, ice cream, bakeries, and shops all within walking distance.

Relaxing Getaway in Ship Bottom

My family and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful bayfront home. The sunsets on the deck were amazing. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the beds were very comfy too. Very walkable to the beach. Pizza, pancake house, and most other services are also very near by. Thank you Nancy and David for a great time!!

Great Location, Comfortable Home, Breath-taking Sunsets

Terrific place in Ship Bottom, right on the bay and walking distance to the beach. Very clean and spacious. Nancy and David are excellent hosts: very responsive and helpful. We spent both nights in the hot tub at sunset, marveling at the vibrant sunsets.

Quaint Coastal - Awesome View

Our stay was great - what a beautiful view! The home was perfect for my husband and our 9 month old daughter. Traditional beachy vibe. This is not a negative but something to be aware of - the stairs to go downstairs inside the home are a metal spiral staircase. Carrying the baby up and down them was a challenge so we predominantly used the outdoor deck steps.

Perfect Birthday Weekend

We stayed here with our daughter and a few friends for her Sweet 16 weekend. It was the best location! The girls enjoyed the bay and the paddle boards (no kayak as stated in listing), and had a short walk to the beach. Communication with the owners was great, they couldn’t have been nicer!

Nancy was great from start to end. Their house was wonderful. The boat dock made fishing stress free and convenient. The views from the deck couldn't have been better. We look forward to a future stay.

First time staying on the bay

House has unbeatable view of water and sunsets! It was perfect for my family of six. Downstairs area gave my oldest some privacy and is great for giving teenagers some space. Also has an area for computers for anyone that needs to remain a little connected for business, etc. All enjoyed swimming in the bay, especially our 5 year old. Kayaking was great fun and the hot tub glorious. Appreciated the appliances as we love to cook for each other. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Nancy and David.

Gorgeous view to wake up to.

By day two it felt like home. The view was gorgeous, especially in the morning with coffee. There was both a Keurig and regular coffee maker to use and all the basics you would need in a kitchen.Plenty of things to do and see even though our stay was preseason. The house was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had were the uncomfortable beds. That would be a wise inexpensive investment since most are looking for a good nights rest while on vacation. Otherwise this stay would have been 5 stars easy!

Very Enjoyable

Nancy and David own and maintain a wonderful bayfront home on LBI - Surf City. This is my first Bayside vacation and I enjoyed the hot tub beside the bay as much as I enjoyed sitting oceanfront on a deck (during previous visits to LBI). Their home is lovely, absolutely clean and stocked with MANY daily-use items in perfect condition. The location, although basically very close to the island bridge is positioned on a property that feels relatively secluded (based on the house placement at the end of the block). Then, mature growth landscaping creates a visual block to the one side of the house that has "neighbors"). It is only 2 blocks from the ocean and 5 steps (or less) from the Bay on their private dock. We LOVED our stay in this home. Nancy was a kind and helpful host, patiently responding to my few pre-visit inquiries. Thank you Nancy and David for a VERY ENJOYABLE stay on Long Beach Island.

Comfortable, but needs a little TLC

The space was comfortable to stay in. There were 2 large bedrooms and one room with bunk beds. The bathrooms were decent & we had plenty of hot water. A few critiques: - staying in the off season it took hours for the house to get warm as we had to turn on the heat when we got there & it was still quite drafty. - many of the walls/trims were dirty and scratched and some water damage in the bathroom - just made it feel a bit worn down - the railing getting in was super shaky and with older folks it made us a bit nervous - we just stayed for 2 nights so it was a lot to bring all sheets, towels, paper towel soap, etc. (it did state in the listing, but just a lot of extra packing coming for a quick trip from out of state) Overall, I would say it’s good for younger groups during the summer only who will spend the majority of the time at the beach or outside.

Total Chill

Quiet part of the island, unparalleled views of the bay, sunset dinners, direct connect outdoor gas grill, hot tub, water toys, beach chairs and trolley, well appointed kitchen with 2 sinks, gas stove, water/ice dispensing fridge, microwave, comfortable accomodations, ceiling fans, electric fireplace, tastefully decorated, plenty of board games for a rainy day. Two block walk to the ocean past the best ice cream joint, dollar store, liquor store, fresh market... The only concern is that two of the 4 bikes on premise will need attention soon as they are rusting badly. The AC compressor is right next to the outdoor table and it can be disturbing when it turns on, but we turned off the AC when we dined outside so we didn't have to worry about it. 😄 We love this location and really don't want to share it with anyone else! 😜 David and Nancy were responsive, friendly and accommodating. Wonderful hosts!

Ship Bottom Review

There were a number of things in disrepair or disappointing : Flat tire on bicycle Did not provide toilet paper except a single roll per BR No light for night time entry - dangerous b/c unable to see/we had to search for a lightbulb which did not exist and ended up taking from another lamp so we could see to come in at night. Owner seemed irritated that he had to direct me to find and replace bulb which we shoulcn't have had to do in first place Poor quality mattresses - not comfortable at all Dirty hot tub without instructions for use by tub - I couldn't turn on jets Sofa worn and uncomfortable Broken chair in closet we had to move out as in way Some screens & blinds torn or difficult to pull Rickety staircase that wobbled as you climbed Sad, could be a really nice place if better maintained. Good location and kitchen well stocked and BR's very clean.

Had a great fall getaway at this property. Sunset views from the hot tub were absolutely spectacular! Conveniently located in a nice, quiet area of Ship Bottom. The place was clean, cozy and comfortable. Owners are extremely pleasant and accommodating. Overall a great experience! Thank you!

Owners, David and Nancy Leonetti are year round residents of LBI, and own a local construction business. David is a life long resident of LBI, whose family has a rich history on the Island, going back to the early 1900's. In addition to our Ship Bottom vacation rental, we also have rentals in Beach Haven, Costa Rica, and Florida, and will soon be unveiling a beautiful remodeled Victorian in the Lake Wallenpaupack region of Pennsylvania. Each of these locations, are our home away from home, and we are honored to share their unique locations and characteristics with you. We take pride in the work that we've done on these homes, and welcome feedback.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This home was our primary residence, and we have put a lot of love into every feature. We were poised to purchase this house, a foreclosure, the week before Sandy hit our area, but the evacuation of the island, delayed the transaction. Weeks later, when we were permitted back on the Island, we discovered that the house had been heavily damaged. However, all of the damage was contained to the lower level, and the lower decks, and dock, which we had planned on remodeling anyway. Long story, short, we completely remodeled the entire downstairs, partially for our office/garage space, replaced the lower deck and dock, put up fencing across the bulkhead (for safety for little ones), and repaired the hot tub which almost floated away in the storm. Then we proceeded to gut and remodel the entire second floor residence area, the rental space seen in the photos, which hadn't been remodeled since at least the early 90's.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

As much as I love the work we did on the interior, the most endearing quality to us is the bay. The sunsets, the breezes, the wildlife....even the sunrises are spectacular, as the sun hits the houses on the mainland and lights everything up. The interior has the feel of being on a boat, with the windows on the south side which overlook the water and the fishing pier, coupled with the sliding doors overlooking the cove and wide bay view. The living area is not enormous, but is just the right combo of coziness, with plenty of space for your family. The large rear upper deck overlooking the bay, gives extra living space for to gather your family for sunsets. The bright and light open air feeling in the rooms, gives the place very a very relaxing and comfortable feel. We hope you will love it as much as we do. The bonus room on the ground level, give that extra space needed for your extended family, and friends.
