Notre maison est où les souvenirs sont faits! Il suffit de marcher dehors et de profiter de la tranquillité d'une évasion au bord de l'eau. Renseignez-vous sur notre location de kayak et de paddleboard. La maison est située sur une crique sereine au large de la baie de Rehoboth, à seulement quelques kilomètres de Rehoboth, Lewes, des plages de Dewey, des magasins d'usine et de toutes sortes de divertissements. À quelques pas du quai communautaire, il est idéal pour le kayak, le paddle board, la pêche et le crabe. Paradis des amoureux de la nature avec des observations fréquentes d'aigles. Profitez des fêtes à l'extérieur sur le pont tout en profitant de la brise de la baie. Le plan d'étage ouvert permet un excellent moment en famille interactif. Situé dans une communauté fermée, il y a des sentiers et un accès à la piscine et aux courts de tennis.

Beautiful place

My husband dog and I really enjoyed the stay . We were able to launch our kayaks from the pier which was very convenient and we bought our bikes. And our favorite place to eat was the long neck dinner meals were very good and affordable. We will definitely visit again 😊

Perfect Sanctuary

Have vacationed in Rehoboth for over 20 years and this was my first stay a bit away from the beach. It was perfect. Right on the water within minutes from all the action. With all the calm of a gated community full of amenities. My family loved it and we will return soon.

Overall nice

The best feature of this house is definitely the view from the back deck overlooking the water. The kids had a great time catching crabs at the dock within view and the community pool was greatly enjoyed.

Cozy getaway

This house was perfect for an adult weekend getaway. We took our 12 year old golden retriever to see the beach nearby. It was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back!

Angola by the bay

Property was exactly what we were looking for, very nice, quiet community with all the amenities and easy launch for our kayaks. Our dog loved the trails through the community. Melissa was a fantastic hostess and quickly responded to any questions we had. Would love to stay there again. We were sad to leave!

Another great stay!

This past trip marks our 4th stay at this property! It is always amazing! The cleaning crew does an amazing job and the house is always spotless on arrival. I have noticed that there are always somw changes and upgrades made to the home and property over the years. It is cozy yet spacious enough for myself,spouse, our 3 kids, and dog! The neighborhood is wonderful; we love riding our bikes to the community pool and playground. The back deck is my absolute favorite spot as it overlooks the canal and dock- sitting out there with a morning cup of coffee is blissful! We hope to continue to rent this amazing place for future vacations!

Nice property

The house was nice. The property was smaller than we thought it would be, but there was a nice view of the bay. The kids wished there were TV's in the bedrooms.

Excellent Getaway

Great little place on the bay! Had all the basics, and was cozy for our group (3 couples, an infant, and our pups). 20 minutes to the beach, 15 minutes to great outlets, adorable brunch places, and local shops. Perfect for a last minute booking for a long weekend with old friends. Host was very responsive while booking. Thanks for a great start!

A cozy place with a wonderful view

The place is on the water front and has a fantastic view from the back porch. The host responds quickly and is very accommodating. The house does have the capacity of 7 berths — 2 queen beds and a bunk bed with lower full-size bed — but the bedrooms are rather small and the living room and kitchen both have limited space. If you plan on traveling in a group bigger than 4, please consider this space limitations. The master en-suite bathroom had a nice and huge tub, but unfortunately it didn’t have shower, so the three of us shared one shower in the hall bathroom during our stay. Overall the place offered a nice, relaxing home base for my family of three to spend a lovely weekend together.

On Love Creek with beautiful Views

I stayed 10 days in April 2023 with my 2 dogs to get away after my husband passed. I’m so happy I chose this house! The views of Love Creek was just what I needed. The views of Love Creek ( more like a large lake) was lovely from decks and inside home. Took pictures of the surrounding nest almost every night. It had absolutely everything I needed to make meals. There were also some great places to eat plus a Wawa about 5 minutes away. It was also an easy trip to downtown Lewes and Rehoboth. This is a gated community with friendly neighbors and was perfect for walking my 2 dogs. Never an issue with the gates. I only had 1 call with owner who picked up on second ring and was wonderful answering my question. I’m highly recommend this home. Next time we rent here I’ll bring my kayak to launch from community dock. The dock is in the backyard and is an an easy launch. Thanks for Hosting Piper, Zoe, and me.

Nice house, great location

The location, right by the crabbing dock, is a big plus. Very good for families and family/friend groups. Lots of people walking dogs in the evenings, so is a pet friendly community. Message to the overall community: The name of the location is problematic. The "Angola" in "Angola by the Bay" is a reference to the country from which the people who were once enslaved at this location came from. Yes, you read that right. Basically celebrating that human beings were once held here as chattel by force. It's 2021. To change that does not erase history; it erases what is, in my view, a celebration of something terrible that occurred here. Funding this offensive doesn't make someone a "snowflake". So, please show sensitivity and respect for people of color and change the name to something that is not offensive, thanks.

Dirty dishes detracted from what otherwise was a delightful experience.

My husband and I (both in our late 70's) were looking for a dog -friendly place not too far from Cape Henlopen to relax and celebrate our anniversary. This house was very comfortable for the two of us and probably would be comfortable for 4 adults and two or maybe even 3 kids - but 8 people would be stretching it. Each room had its own thermostat. It was November and so was too chilly to take advantage of the many community amenities or even to use the back deck of the house, which has a large table and a spectacular view of Herring Creek. However, we were able to enjoy a view of the creek from the living room. There is also a great walking trail for people and dogs through woods and along the creek. Everything seemed perfect until I pulled a dinner plate out of the kitchen cabinet and found it covered with peanut butter - I then pulled another plate out and it, too, had peanut butter smeared on it. Clearly neither one had been washed and it made me wonder if the other dishes in the cabinets had been washed! There was also sand on one of the bedspreads. Other than these "yuck" factors, we and our pup thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One more thing: I would suggest bringing your own hand towels and washcloths as these are not provided. The instructions say kitchen towels and bath towels are provided, and we mistakenly assumed that the latter included hand towels and washcloths.

Great location with waterfront views

We enjoyed staying in this peaceful community. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the beaches and local restaurants. The rented kayaks provided extra entertainment at the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Hi everyone! My name is Melissa. My co-owner Heather and I are excited to own this great house on the water! Both Heather and I were born and raised in the tri-state area. In my other life, I'm a real estate agent in the ND/DC/VA area. Heather has a fascinating history in Vet Physical Therapy and drumming.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Heather and I found this house and fell in love with the tranquil waterfront, all while close to beaches and surrounding beauty. Being steps away from the water, Heather and I love kayaking and paddle boarding and recognized this as an ideal place to launch our gear. We saw a lot of potential in the house and are actively trying to modernize the property for everyone's stay.
