Idéalement situé au cœur du quartier de Salamanca, cet appartement de deux chambres est idéal pour ceux qui cherchent à séjourner dans l'un des quartiers les plus exclusifs de Madrid. Restaurants, boutiques de créateurs, attractions touristiques et une atmosphère exclusive. Les rues de Serrano, Jorge Juan et Ortega y Gasset sont particulièrement attrayantes si vous souhaitez visiter les meilleures boutiques de créateurs.

À quelques pas se trouve l'impressionnante Plaza de Colón, le boulevard Paseo de la Castellana et la Bibliothèque nationale. Le magnifique parc du Retiro (le « poumon vert» de Madrid) est accessible à pied et offre un havre de paix loin de l'agitation de la ville. C'est l'un des quartiers les plus centraux et les mieux desservis de Madrid, avec le réseau de métro, les bus et les trains à proximité, ce que ceux qui souhaitent explorer pleinement la ville apprécieront beaucoup.

La propriété est située au deuxième étage de l'immeuble, avec un ascenseur vers la porte principale et un deuxième ascenseur vers la porte arrière de la cuisine, utilisé comme accès de service. L'appartement est extrêmement lumineux et élégant, et est décoré dans un style classique avec un goût impeccable.

L'entrée principale mène à un grand hall pourvu de placards et d’une grande bibliothèque. Le hall donne accès au salon, à la cuisine et aux chambres. L'élégant salon dispose d'une grande fenêtre qui fait entrer la lumière pendant la majeure partie de la journée.

Le coin salon est parfait pour se détendre, avec deux canapés 3 places et une table basse en verre.. La salle à manger, lumineuse et gaie comme le reste du salon, peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes.

La chambre principale dispose de deux lits simples ensemble (105 cm x 200 cm), d'un bureau élégant en acajou placé devant la fenêtre avec vue sur calle Hermosilla et de deux tables de chevet anciennes. La salle de bains privative est pourvue d'une baignoire et d'une douche. Il y a aussi un dressing.

La deuxième chambre a deux lits simples (90cm x 200cm), des armoires encastrées et compteune salle de bain complète accessible depuis le salon.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pendant vos vacances. Elle a également une table pratique avec des chaises, et une porte arrière comme entrée de service.

Great location but terrible apartment

We rented this apartment for one month. We immediately noticed that the apartment was run down, it hadn’t been painted in many years and the furniture was old and uncomfortable. There were cracked tiles on the bathroom floor. Water leaking from the showerhead to the floor. The second bedroom and bathroom are extremely small. Tiny TV sets. Worst of all is the all-night noise right outside the primary bedroom window every night from seemingly endless garbage and bottle collections and deliveries. We had to move to the tiny second bed room to escape and sleep. The property manager was very polite and addressed many issues during our stay. However, she promised us a refund for some portion of our stay because of the inconvenience. My last message from her was two months ago promising me an update. I have not heard back in spite of two attempts to reach her since.

Cozy and comfortable apartment in the best area of Madrid. Easy to walk to shopping and grocery store is literally downstairs! Well-appointed and with A/C which is a must in Madrid's warmer months. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked/maintained. My only caveat is that, as a light sleeper, there are a lot of noises that took getting used to, like trash/recycling collection downstairs and plumbing noises from apartment above. I am a *very* light sleeper though, so normal people might not care, or you might just want a set of earplugs. Still, I would happily stay here again. The property, and its owner, were great!

Best place to stay in Madrid

This place is substantially nicer than the pictures show! It is so spacious, beautifully decorated and well appointed. And the location is perfect, a grocery store right below, lots of great cafes and shops and centrally located to everything. I am saving this listing for my next visit to Madrid.

Beautiful apartment in great neighborhood

Karin was a lovely host and made the check in process easy. The apartment is located close to many wonderful restaurants and coffee shops and has Metro stations close by. It was a really great experience.

My wife and I (and another couple) much enjoyed a 5 day stay in this wonderfully appointed and extremely well located apartment during a 5 day visit to Madrid in late September. It is situated in an up-scale neighbourhood near to fine shops, great restaurants, bars, and transportation (the Metro). Grocery shopping is literally next door. Extremely clean with the owner or her representative quick to reply to any questions made my telephone or email. The front bedroom (the larger of the two bedrooms) suffers from noise created on the street during the middle of the night from garbage collection trucks. A minor annoyance solved by tightly closing the shutters and for a light sleeper-using ear plugs. If we were to make a return visit to Madrid we would wish to stay here again and will strongly recommend it to friends who enjoy this type of accommodation (as opposed to a hotel)! Lovely apartment in charming neighborhood

The apartment is in Salamanca, the nicest neighborhood in Madrid, and is convenient to all of the major tourist attractions. There is a Carrefour Express grocery right next door. The apartment is well laid-out, with both bedrooms having an en-suite bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and cooking utensils. The furniture and decorating are a couple of levels above what is normally found in vacation apartment rentals.

Everything about this place was terrific. It's a great location close to bus and metro lines as well as being in a safe and very walkable neighborhood. The apartment itself was perfect for our needs and especially loved the blackout shades that hastened recovery from jet lag. The apartment is nicely decorated and very comfortable. What a wonderful apartment! My friend and I stayed for a week and loved it. It’s quite spacious and beautifully appointed. The location is close to most everything but far enough to feel extremely safe. Great restaurants and shopping on the same block. I’d definitely stay there again. The owners were very responsive answering all questions very quickly. They even helped to arrange transportation to and from the apartment.

Terrific Apartment in the Best Location!

I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this lovely apartment! It is located in one of the finest neighborhoods in all of Madrid. Beautiful decor, roomy and clean. We had assistance from the owner with airport transfers, someone to meet us and show us around the apartment, a kitchen that had the staples that you would need to start your vacation, fruit, bread, juice, milk, butter, coffee, etc. Very impressive for a rental. When we started exploring the neighborhood, we realized that we had chosen the right rental. Markets, restaurants and shops all just steps away from the front door. Some of the best restaurants are right on calle Hermosilla or only a few blocks away. It's also in walking distance to the old city for you to see all of the beautiful touristy sights this city has to offer. There were 3 of us that stayed here and there was plenty of space for all. Bathrooms are nice and loads of closet space! I would definitely recommend this apartment! Can't wait to return!

A beautiful apartment in the nicest neighborhood in Madrid

You should not hesitate to rent this apartment if you are going to Madrid. I am extremely picky about where I stay and this apartment exceeded my expectations. The neighborhood is very elegant and quiet. The best stores, restaurants and everything in walking distance. The building has a door man which is nice for extra security. The apartment is beautifully decorated which is very rare with apartment rentals I have found. The kitchen was loaded with everything we could have needed i.e. coffee, milk, sugar, bread, fresh fruit, bottled water, snacks, condiments, spices, etc. That type of hospitality is not common with rentals. The living room area was decorated very nicely and made for a very pleasant area for my family (4 of us). She has hung artwork, bookshelves are stacked with hundreds of books, and oriental carpeting throughout.. 2 very nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Tons of closet space with actually more hangers than we could use. I can't say enough good things about this apartment. Please take my word and book this place if you are going to be in Madrid. Although it's not in the center of town, you can walk there easily (about 20 minutes to Prado/Sol etc), and you can find a nice oasis from the hustle and bustle of Madrid.

Nice apartment in a great neighborhood.

The neighborhood was great - many restaurants, bakeries, local groceries. The apartment was nicely decorated and had a nice space: Master bedroom was large with a nice bathroom en-suite. The second bedroom was smaller and its bathroom was also smaller. The kitchen was very nice and we had a nice welcome with stocked basics for us! Karin was great. Met us at the apartment with an orientation to facilities, neighborhood and info on Madrid. Karin is an important asset. I would return to this home.

We stayed in the Espartinas and not in Hermisolla apartment. The apartment was gorgeous and loved it. Perfect for families with small children or toddlers. Karin was amazing- so helpful and prompt. I would highly recommend her properties in Spain.

Peace and quiet

The description of this beautiful apartment was absolutely accurate. After a full day's sightseeing, it was lovely to come back to a less traveled area of Madrid where most of the people were natives. And the added bonus of being able to walk in the neighborhood and have things to see in all the shop windows was perfect. The apartment is convenient to the Metro and it's an easy walk to the Prado. The furnishings were attractive, the bathrooms were excellent and the place came fully equipped with paper goods, milk, fruit, bread, butter, bottled water and an array of spices and seasonings for modest cooking. The lovely manager could not have been more helpful--showing us around, offering tips for dining and recommending a company that picked us up and the airport and drove us back at the end of our stay. Which is more than I can say for HomeAway. I would recommend this apartment to one and all but be warned that HomeAway offers very little support.
