Belle maison de style colonial située à quelques pas de l'une des plus belles plages de Cape Cod. Mayflower Beach et Bayview Beach sont des plages familiales avec des couchers de soleil spectaculaires surplombant la baie de Cape Cod. Chapin Beach et Corporation Beach sont à une courte distance en voiture.

La maison comprend un plan d'étage ouvert, la climatisation centrale, un accès Internet / sans fil, une laveuse / sécheuse au deuxième étage, une cuisine en granit avec un wet-bar et des appareils en acier inoxydable, 2 1/2 salles de bain et 4 chambres plus une pièce bonus au sous-sol. Profitez de vos soirées sur le grand porche d'un agriculteur à l'avant de la maison ou sur le pont ouvert à l'arrière avec un barbecue Weber. Le salon a un foyer au gaz, une télévision à écran plat de 65 "et un lecteur stéréo / CD attaché avec son surround. Douche extérieure fermée pour après la plage.

Courte distance en voiture ou en vélo jusqu'à Dennis Village où vous trouverez le Cape Playhouse, la bibliothèque publique de Dennis, le lac Scargo, le marché public de Dennis ainsi que de nombreux autres magasins et restaurants. Également à proximité des pistes cyclables, du golf, des magasins et des cinémas. Nous sommes un quartier calme, relaxant et familial. Idéal pour des vacances amusantes et relaxantes.

Summer vacation on Cape Cod

Great property. Owner lives right across the street but is pretty much invisible unless you need him for something. Two and a halve baths is a definite plus, especially in the morning when everyone is trying to get ready for the day. Washer and dryer are easy to use as is the outdoor gas grill. This is definitely a five star property.

mayflower vacation house

I have used VRBO several times now and this is the best house that I have rented. You absolutely will love this house. It is good sized, modern, and well equipped. The host, Len, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Moreover, Mayflower is the best beach on the Cape, especially for little kids. I also managed 3 rounds of golf at 3 different nearby great courses. Five star stay

Nice home, great location

We stayed in len’s home for a week with 4 adults and 3 young kids. There was plenty of room for us all. The yard has a great front yard/ porch and back deck for hanging outside. Additionally the beach is an easy 10-minute walk from the house. We would love to stay here again.

Perfect summer getaway

We had a great experience that started with the lovely gifts from Len for both adults and kids. The neighborhood was perfect for the kids to ride their bikes or just play in the front yard. We enjoyed riding our bikes to the beach each day and coming back to a clean cool house.

Great family trip to Dennis

Easily walkable to Mayflower beach. Property has lots of space, indoor and outdoor, for kids to play. Grill for cooking at home and quick access to Dennis town center with many places to eat.

My wife and I stayed at this house with our 3 young kids (10, 8, 6) and had an absolute blast. Walking distance to Mayflower beach and central to everything else in the Cape. The house is great and Len was an fantastic host.

Supreme location

Our family and friends had an excellent vacation stay at the house. It was plenty big enough for all of us, and the location and proximity to one of the best beaches on all of the Cape makes this rental an easy decision to rebook.

Friends and I stayed here for a fall weekend. The house was perfect and so clean! The hosts made everything so easy from start to finish and were so welcoming. Highly recommend this rental !

Family reunion in Dennis

We had a lovely time staying in this large, well equipped house for a week with our extended family. Other than a bit of mustiness in the basement the house was just as it is described in the listing. The location is absolutely perfect, walking distance to Mayflower Beach and with in minutes to grocery stores, galleries, and the art museum.

Great house, nice walk to the beach

Nice house plan, kitchen is well set up to cook (which we do). Outside Grill was new, and the deck was really pleasant to sit on. A note about the timing of our stay — there was a big storm and the power was knocked out for like 10 hours. We were able to walk to Chapin’s Bayside (yum!) for lunch, and the owner of the house was very responsive - getting us candles and a flashlight. He also sent over a neighbor to ensure we were ok. Great job, Len!

Great vacation rental

We were welcomed with a basket of homemade cookies and a bottle of wine. House is spotless and about .5 miles from Bayview Beach. Kitchen was well equipped with very nice appliances. Our family had a very nice time.

Great beach house in Dennis!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable home in Dennis. Len and his wife were great hosts but not intrusive at all. They were available if needed and left a welcome basket with handmade Italian cookies and wine. The house was spacious enough our group of 2 families (4 adults and 4 children). The house was equipped with a very nice kitchen with high-end appliances and all of the kitchen utensils one would expect. There is a large TV in the family room and a great finished basement with another TV, as well as ping pong and pool tables. The wifi was reliable and fast enough to have multiple devices streaming at times for the kids. Bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious. One bedroom on the second floor is at the top of the stairs without a door (loft style), but this was fine for our kids. The house is a 10 minute walk to Mayflower beach which is one of the BEST beaches for kids on the Cape and certainly the highlight of the trip! The neighborhood is quite, perfect for sitting on the relaxing front porch, or going for a run or walk on the nearby streets. There is easy access to nearby restaurants, an ice cream shop, grocery stores, and Peterson's fish market which is one of our favorite places to pick up food for dinner. Overall, the house is perfect for a fun and comfortable Cape Cod vacation!

This is the house to rent for a family vacation!!

We were an extended family of 6 adults and two children under 4. This house lends itself so easily to a great number. The house is amazing with 4 large bedrooms so little ones can go to sleep away from noise. It is immaculate and you just need to drop your stuff and head to Mayflower Beach! It is a very short walk down the street. We had a pizza party one night and watched the sun set over the ocean. I can not say enough about the owners who are so kind and helpful. We had a perfect Cape vacation!!

Lovely house in a great location

We loved our stay, this house is a gem. It truly is a 'house', has great home feel, clean, comfortable, have all amenities a vacationer might need. Cute front porch for having morning coffee, and well-maintained yard, our toddlers loved playing and running there. The location couldn't be better, with Mayflower Beach (which is a amazing!) within 5 min by bicycles, can't comment on the walking distance. Special thanks to the owner, Len, who was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. There is a good amount of stores, ice cream shops, restaurants nearby, and within reasonable driving distance. Annual summer vacation with family

My husband and I spend every summer on cape cod with our three grown children and grandchildren. We’ve stayed in the Dennis area for the past 10 years. This year instead of using a local realtor, we tried VRBO. We booked this house and could not have been happier. The house was beautiful, well equipped and less than a mile walk to the beach. There was plenty of space for all three families. My children commented that we really upped our game for a house this year. Len and his wife live right across the street, which was terrific. They were easily accessible if we had any questions but not intrusive at all. I would highly recommend this property. We hope it’s available next year for our Cape vacation! Rose

We loved it!

We really enjoyed our week at the house. It is the perfect size for 2 families. Everyone had their own space. The basement was great for the kids. It was about an 8 minute walk to Mayflower beach which is absolutely beautiful. The best time is late afternoon/early evening to watch the sunset. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking things you need so we cooked/grilled every day. We will definitely be coming back!

GREAT WEEK!!!

We had a fabulous week at this cape home. The owners were great, they had it stocked from top to bottom with so many amenities. Beautiful home - nice to come home from the beach to an air conditioned house. A short walk to the beach was a real asset as well. Outdoor shower always great!!! The only disappointment was the mosquito's!! They were quite bad- so bring lots of repellent- and we were also told it was bad this year but not in the past- so we are hoping for a lot less of those pests next year. It wasn't enough to keep us from going back next year. We will definitely look into next year rental again! Thanks for everything - we had a wonderful week with our family!

First of all a BIG thank you to Len and his wife! The house was perfect for two families w/ 3 children (one 3 year old and two under 1). The house was roomy, clean, and a very nice set up for a Cape vacation. We never felt a lack of privacy and there was plenty of room. The owners live directly across the street and were both helpful and non-intrusive. We were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with brand new appliances, nicely furnished basement, and brand new grill. Even when the new dishwasher shorted out, the owner jumped through hoops to get an electrician on sight immediately. Same thing with the upstairs central air (the pump blew out the week before we arrived so the owner installed window units to ensure we stayed cool) which worked out just fine for us. If you have never been to Mayflower beach (or any of the Dennis beaches) you are in for a treat. Make sure you go during low tide and you will enjoy soft, clean, sandy beaches for miles with barely any rocks, shells, or nasty seaweed that make up the southern beaches of the cape. In my opinion this is one of the top beaches at the cape and is PERFECT for children who are not yet ready for big waves. BONUS there is a really nice restaurant to pick up lobster rolls at on your walk back (Chapins). I took half a star away for two reasons. 1 the mosquitos were ridiculous! I am talking violent even when the sun was shining, making the yard almost useless. Obviously not the owners fault but BRING BUG SPRAY. Hopefully they aren’t as bad now that things are drying out from Massachusetts wet spring. Second the house was advertised as 2/10s of a mile to the beach. Perhaps as the crow flies, but walking from the door until you put your feet in the sand is really a half mile. We used the strava app on our phones and came between .4 and .5 every time. Luckily we were prepared with beach wagons and strollers so it was not an issue for us but might be a problem for some. Considering the amount of food and adult beverages we enjoyed it was probably a good thing for us! Overall a great time! Bonus points for anyone who can figure out the meaning of the picture in the dining room and post on this site! :) We will likely be back next year!

The Holt Realty Group, LLC is a private family owned and operated business which builds, owns and rents luxury homes in the Boston Suburbs since 1985. Although many of our properties are located in the Boston Suburbs , we find ourselves spending more and more time in Cape Cod. We hope that you enjoy this house as much as we have over the years!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our house is located in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. Although close enough to the Mayflower Beach to walk (and hear it), it's far enough away that we don't have a constant flow of cars passing by our house. The Town of Dennis prohibits parking on the streets of our neighborhood to prevent beach parking by all the people who can’t get into the beach parking lot. Fortunately our guests don’t have to worry about the beach parking lot because it’s a short walk to the beach. In the alternative, you could choose to use the beach drop off area outside the parking lot. We provide four off street parking spaces in our driveway for the exclusive use of our guests.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

May Flower Beach is one of THE BEST family friendly beaches on Cape Cod and is one of a very few beaches on the east coast where the sun sets over the water. At low tide the beach is enormous with lots of room for whatever you want to do. The unique benefit of Louis Ave is that it is within a short walk to the beach. (You will find that the Beach Parking lot fills up very quickly all throughout the summer.)

Question: What made us fall in love with our home?
Answer: For many years the only Cape Cod we knew was Rt 28, including all the hotels along Hyannis and the constant traffic jam during the summer months. Over 20 years ago we were invited by friends to visit Mayflower Beach and the first time we stepped over the dunes and on to the beach we instantly knew that we had found "old cape cod". For several years we rented in the neighborhood before we were fortunate to find a piece of land where we built our first house, a custom built home with an open first floor plan before open floor plans were in vogue. Whether we are sitting on the front porch, the back deck or just inside the house there is something about being in Cape Cod that is just relaxing. We liked it so much that we built a second home across the street.
