This upside-down home in Dennis Village is the perfect blend of coastal charm and contemporary upgrades. With living space upstairs to maximize sunset views and bedrooms below for quiet nights, it is ideal for extended families, groups with kids, or couples seeking extra space.

Sleeps up to 10 and is just a short stroll (5 minutes) to private Bayview Beach, a serene alternative to the more crowded nearby Mayflower and Corporation Beaches. Guests enjoy exclusive private beach access as part of the neighborhood.

Great spot! Easy walk to beach!

Great location - 5 min walk to Mayflower/Bayview Beach. House was well appointed with a wonderful deck and comfortable accommodations. Owners were very responsive and the excellent air conditioning was a nice break from the hot weather :)

Best vacation experience

The home was very clean and comfortable. Conveniently located near our favorite Mayflower Beach. We really enjoyed the evenings out on the beautiful outdoor deck and all the beach equipment provided by the host. We will definitely come back to this home in the future

A wonderful cape escape

Well-maintained lovely property close to the bay side beaches. Was perfect for our family of 5, although able to accommodate more. The owners were fantastic, the best we've come across in all our years on VRBO. Great communication, very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommended vacation home, would definitely try to stay here again if we are back on Cape Cod.

A Great Vacation

The house met or exceeded all expectations. It was squeaky clean, beautifully furnished and well maintained. The kitchen is modest, but stocked with everything one could possibly need. The yard is great for kids and the walk to the beach is convenient - even with four grandsons. The owner is very responsive in terms of both timeliness and thoroughness. In summary, it was an enjoyable family vacation and we would love to repeat it next year.

All around great!

I stayed for 11 days in September 2023. The house was very clean, bright and airy, comfortable and well equipped with everything I needed. I love the location, so close to the water/beach. The outdoor shower was great and a nice plus that I hadn’t thought much about. The owners were extremely responsive. A few minor things came up during my stay and when I reached out to them they got right back to me. I was there during “hurricane Lee” and we communicated before, during and after which was helpful and reassuring. I wanted to extend my stay and they were very accommodating. They seem to truly want you to have a great vacation and they do what they can to make that happen.

First cape cod vacation

Very disappointed…the pictures were deceiving, very staged. Not the same furniture . Very musty smelling on first floor and very dark. The queen size bed is small and terrible mattress!!Second floor was the best part of house. However kitchen had ants(which i had to go get ant traps) The lawn was overgrown and weeds 4 ft tall! Dont waste your money!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Kathy. We genuinely regret that your stay did not meet your expectations. We strive to provide an enjoyable experience for all our guests, and it’s disheartening to hear that we fell short during your visit. We regularly update furnishings and furniture, but the overall description of the property remains accurate to ensure transparency for our guests. Regarding the queen mattress, while we haven't had previous complaints, we will be soliciting feedback from other guests and will certainly replace it if needed. As for the mustiness, this is the first time it's been mentioned, but we'll definitely investigate it with the company that installed our year-old central AC system, which should regulate humidity effectively to prevent this experience. The lawn issue was an unfortunate oversight—the landscaper was ill the day before your arrival, but it was addressed the next day. We’re also excited to share that we’re making significant upgrades for next summer, including a new pool, an entertainment area with a pool house, and complete renovations of the kitchen and bathrooms, plus the addition of a sauna. We hope these improvements will offer an even better experience for many of our loyal return guests. Thank you again for your insights; we truly value the opportunity to improve.

Everything you want your vacation home to be

This was the best overall experience we have had renting a house on the Cape (and we have been doing this for years). From the booking, to preparing for our visit the host Casper was very thorough. He sent a very helpful email the week before our rental to help us prepare for our visit. He was very easy to reach during our stay when I had a question to ask. On arrival to the house, it was better than expected. First of all, it was very, very clean. The cleanest house we have ever rented. It is beautiful, immaculately cared for and a perfect lay out. The wrap around porch was our place to be for morning coffee (or espresso as they have an espresso machine) and night time board games and conversations. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors very kind. We loved walking around the neighborhood enjoying the ocean views. The walk to the beach is short and safe. We would walk back and forth from the house to the beach several times a day. The house has all the beach gear that you need. It is very easy to get to nearby restaurants, mini golf and markets. If you are staying home the kitchen has everything you need, a large dining room table and plenty of seating upstairs and down stairs. I really can't say enough good things about this house and it's owners. This house is very well kept and the hosts really care about their house and your experience there. If you are looking for a vacation home where you can relax, enjoy the ocean and time with family and friends, this is the house. Our one week was heaven and we are already looking forward to next summer. Thank you Casper and Olga!

Practical suggestions

Advertised as 4bedrooms, actually 3 with a TV room pullout sofa. This property is not steps from the beach, it’s a half mile hike. When renting to guests without children remove the child gate, it makes the stairs difficult to navigate. Provide TV directions. Otherwise the house is light, bright and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well appointed.

The house and location were great! Very close to the beach and there was a lovely deck with a grill as well. The outdoor shower was convenient for returning from the beach. The owner was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely stay again!

Enjoyable stay with a few suggestions

We stayed at this house for a week with 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 5-7). The house is on a quiet street, the kitchen is well appointed, and it is spacious. The walk to the beach with the kids was 10min-it’s not bad but it’s definitely more than steps. The downstairs bedroom that sleeps 4 can get very warm (as it did when we were there) and was a tad uncomfortable (even with the fans running). It would be nice to have a TV upstairs -the adults and kids could not enjoy a movie together downstairs (due to seating). Casper is extremely easy to chat with and gets back to you very quickly. Overall, it is a nice house but it is expensive and would benefit from a few small upgrades.

There is a private way leading to the beach, This way greatly shortens the walk down to a few minutes, much faster then the public road :-) As a result of your feedback we have decided to upgrade the AC system with 2 extra zones and a larger unit, providing for optimal airflow throughout the house. Not As Advertised

Pros: the house is spacious and well-appointed with comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is very well stocked with cookware, plates, etc. Bayview Beach is gorgeous. Large deck with nice grill and big table for outdoor dining. Cons: the house was listed as having central A/C. We never imagined this meant half the house, and only 25% of the bedrooms. When we arrived, we asked the owner and learned that A/C is only on the 2nd floor (which has 1 bedroom for 2 ppl, kitchen & common areas). 3 bedrooms downstairs were over 80 degrees at night with small fans provided. Listing has since been changed to state this, but was not at the time of booking. 7 ppl downstairs were extremely uncomfortable for sleeping and had to sleep on couches upstairs for most nights. While it was a hot week, we booked a summer vacation hoping for hot weather to enjoy the beach and thought we would have a nice cool house to return to. Upon alerting the host, he only offered for us to pick up cooling fans at Home Depot (2 different trips and not super close). When a partial refund was requested for this extremely expensive listing that was not as advertised, he refused and only offered a discount for future booking, which we didn't want, given our experience. This was very disappointing given the price point of this property and description of A/C in VRBO listing, emails to me prior to the visit specifically mentioning A/C, and the pdf document describing the house. None of these materials provided to us prior to the trip stated that half the house does not have A/C. We never would have booked. Also note that it is not "steps" from the beach as also advertised. A brisk walk is about 7 minutes, and with beach gear and kids, expect ~10-12 minutes. This is fine, but also not as advertised. We had 4 young children and the walk was longer than we wanted and up and down a hill with no sidewalk or shoulder on the road. We specifically messaged the host regarding the walk prior to booking, and were promised 2-3 minutes, which is what we thought we were paying for. When raised with the host after arriving, this was dismissed as "wrong”. Upon complaint, the host claimed he had never had an issue in “years" of renting the house even though it was purchased last year (Mar 2020) and his public online Twitter activity complains of a refund he had to pay to a former guest while using a different platform last year.

Awesome property for the perfect vacation

We stayed for one week with our young daughter (15 months) and it was perfect for us. A short walk with the stroller to the beach, perfectly equipped kitchen and internet/tv worked flawlessly. The owner was extremely service minded and responded promptly to all questions (like where is the blender, do you have a way of baby proofing the access to the stairs etc.). We felt safe with our daughter and love the area. Thank you again!

Wonderful rental!

Stayed for six weeks in April-May. House was spacious, clean and so much sunlight! Had all the amenities you/family could need and owner was very attentive and responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Labor Day Weekend 2020

Amazing stay! The house is located down a private and quiet road, which made for a nice area. What makes the location even better is the short walk to the beach. The house was perfect for a girls’ weekend away. Some rooms look slightly different than they do in the pictures, but not in a bad way at all. It actually seemed more spacious in person. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. The outdoor shower was a nice bonus. I really enjoyed hanging out on the deck, but it would be even better with more seating/a dinner table. I would definitely book this stay again!

Sunny Beach House

Great house to spread out with your family. It sits on a quiet little side street with no traffic. Filled with light and very private. Beautiful walk to the beach. We loved the 2 sitting areas and the large kitchen table. Plenty of parking for guests to come visit or walk over to the beach with you. The couches were comfy and so were the beds. The owner was responsive to questions. The only things that could be improved were extra seating on the deck and an upgraded oven (but who wants to cook on vacation). Great vacation!
