Warm and friendly welcome by Andrea with a wonderful gift basket waiting for us. We really enjoyed our stay at Blacksmiths Cottage. Clean with everything you required provided for. Good location, would also recommend The Ship Inn pub which is nearby for food. Would definitely recommend staying at Blacksmiths and look forward to returning in the future.

We went for a short break, to meet up with other family members. The cottage was very clean, beautiful kitchen, bathroom, the owner had thought of everything, and gave us a lovely hamper. Nice friendly pub, 2 mins away. Bus stop, 2 mins away. Location good too!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the cottage had everything we needed and is in an excellent locatio

We really enjoyed our stay here, the cottage had everything we needed and is in an excellent location to explore from. Being only 2 years old, it felt fresh and is finished to a high standard. Our only minor gripes are the road noise and the shower head which had a tendency to drop down. The welcome pack and treats/bed for our dog was a great touch. Friendly host and welcome for us and our pooch.

Friendly host and welcome for us and our pooch. Modern , comfortable facilities. Good location for exploring the Jurassic coast. Easy to get into Weymouth and Dorchester with great bus links. It was a shame the pub on the doorstep was closed for Covid reasons while we were there. Only small issue we did have was the road noise but wouldn’t stop us returning.
