Old Dairy est situé au coeur de la campagne dans un hameau, entre six autres chalets, avec une abondance de la faune, ce qui rend une maison de vacances idéal pour deux. Lumineux et spacieux, avec une abondance de poutres, Old Dairy est une belle grange convertie, avec une cuisine entièrement équipée, salon ouvert / salle à manger, de grandes fenêtres fenêtres donnant sur jardin privé, salle de bains moderne voisin chambre double avec lit king size, poutres apparentes, garde-robe. Cuisine, cuisinière à gaz, four électrique, réfrigérateur, boîte de glace, lave-vaisselle, lave-linge et micro-ondes. Salon ouvert avec TV, DVD, Freesat, dock iPod, stéréo, wifi indépendante, table à manger / chaises, salle de bains, douche, WC, jardin totalement clos, grande terrasse avec espace privé engazonné. Little gem

Immaculate accommodation in a quiet location. We were using this as a base to visit relatives and to visit Monkey World which was a short drive away. Our host Lynne was there to greet us but did not hover. The welcoming pack of milk, biscuits and wine hit the spot after a very long drive from Norfolk. Can’t fault this little gem and would definitely book again.

Peaceful and comfortable place

My friend and I enjoyed watching the birds in the garden - there were lots! The accomodation had everything we could possibly need. It was really clean and so comfortable; an absolute pleasure to stay in such a beautiful place. Having leaflets of all the local places was useful - we visited the Blue Pool, had a great walk and tea with fab cake.

Quiet and relaxing

A very relaxing place to stay. Beautifully furnished with a generously equipped kitchen. Very nice to find a pint of milk in the fridge and a selection of snacks. A nice touch to have a selection of books to read and leaflets for places to visit. Loved watching the birds on the bird feeders and the lambs in the neighbouring field. Overall a lovely quiet place to relax. Would definitely want to come again.

Peaceful, a lovely rest in a lovely place

Lovely barn conversion, well equipped, comfy, warm, great private garden for dogs, lovely grounds. We love it here. Excellent location, so close to many places... Weymouth, Dorchester, Wareham etc.

Birthday Staycation

Exceptional stay, check in was as smooth as it comes, the cottage was prepared and very clean and instructions on how to operate any items was clearly highlighted. As other reviews have described, the garden is lovely, peaceful and quiet. The farm / cottage is ideally located, just off a main road and is usually 10-30 minutes away from any local hot spots (depending on where you go obviously). Our first stay in Dorset and it didn’t disappoint! Thank you!!

Fabulous holiday home from home!

The Old Dairy was fantastic. Hidden away in large beautifully kept grounds, peaceful, picturesque. Well equipped. Comfortable, warm with everything we needed for us & our dogs. Secluded, enclosed, safe garden. Lynne had left groceries & welcoming treat for our arrival & she was lovely. This is one of the best holiday properties we've ever stayed in the UK. Hopefully will return multiple times. Thank you.

Loz and Monica 25th anniversary stay

It was a relaxing place to stay with views of the garden that was not overlooked and therefore had maximum privacy. However it was still close to a main road which gave easy access to nearby places of interest. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

What a great find. The Old Dairy was in a lovely peaceful area but close to lots of amazing places to visit.It was the most well thought out accommodation we’ve stayed in. We’d definitely stay there again!

Lovely little hideaway

Really nice home from home. Lots of lovely little touches like milk in the fridge, crisps, biscuits and shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Was really cosy with all mod cons. We took our two dogs and they were very happy. The only very small downside was the garden was a raised garden and I had to take my Dachshund out on a lead and lift her onto the grass and keep a lead on her in case she tried to jump off the wall due to its height, if you have a small dog might be worth bringing a fold up ramp with you. Overall a very nice stay and close to Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Lulworth Castle.

Old Diary so delightful!

Fantastic stay at the old diary, close to all the Jurassic coastal walks we were interested in! Highly recommended if you want to escape the city and explore the beautiful countryside

We’ve had a wonderful stay, nothing is too much trouble for the host and the cottage has everything you could wish for. Excellent position for getting to the beaches and Dorchester. Heartily recommend this lovely cottage stay!

The Dairy

On arrival the property was a welcome breath of fresh air of an owner who wants their guests to enjoy and feel welcome, High standard of cleanliness and everything was perfect, couldn't of wished for a better place to stay, quiet, secluded and location was easy to reach either Weymouth, Swanage or Wareham. the garden was very dog friendly and secure, very private and quiet lanes to walk the pooch in the mornings, we will definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone who wants peace quiet and good standard of accommodation.

Perfect retreat

This stunning cottage is the best we've ever stayed in. Immaculate, charming, beautiful enclosed garden for our dog with gorgeous sun trap patio, which has an electric canopy for sun cover. Inside there is everything youd need for a fabulous stay. Kitchen has all you need for cooking, the bed is super comfy and the shower is great. We didnt want to leave. Excellent location for all the tourist attractions. Superb

Summer Holiday

Perfect location and property to explore beautiful Dorset. The Dairy had everything we needed and was in a quiet and private area. Lynne was always on hand if we needed anything. The guest book was great as it helped us find other places to visit that others had recommended. The property was lovely and clean with a very comfortable bed and a light and airy bathroom. The shower also had good pressure. Extension leads were available in the right places so there was always access to a mirror for hair drying etc. This has been lacking in other properties we have stayed in. The only downside was that the week went too quick. Would thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful place.

A wonderful place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Close to everything you would want. The Old Dairy is roomy and very comfortable. All the things you need are in the well equipped kitchen. Comfortable lounge and eating area. Loved it would definitely stay here again.

Heerlijk verblijf

Zeer gezellig verblijf. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Ruime leefkeuken met zitkamer. Goed bed. Voor de honden geweldige zo'n afgesloten tuin. De eigenaren zijn heel gastvrij en je voelt je gelijk welkom. Echte aanrader.

We are a local family, having lived just outside of Swanage for many years so have an excellent knowledge of the area and local facilities. We now live in a neighbouring cottage to Old Dairy, where we are enjoying the wonderful wildlife and countryside surrounding us.

Stepping inside Old Dairy, this property envelopes you with a wonderful feeling of privacy, but spacious both inside and out.
Although set in the heart of countryside, the location is ideal with the coast 3 miles away, set on the Jurassic coast, and a village just a mile away, with ample shops and a mainline
station, but near to all Dorsets attractions.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Old Dairy is approached by a tree lined drive, which is a wonderful habitat to pheasants, ducks, deer and many species of birds. There is a pretty garden adjacent to facilites for car parking, and a barn that used to be home for dairy cattle, but now home to owls and our pet ponies. The whole area is surrounded by fields, with a wonderful feeling of open space.
