Located adjacent to Snowmass Base Village, the Lichenhearth Condominiums offer direct access to the Elk Camp Gondola and Fanny Hill chair lift, making it a breeze to enjoy year-round activities like zip lining, mountain biking, skiing, and more. The proximity to dining, shopping, and the children’s ski school adds convenience to your stay. Enjoy the comfort of covered parking, an elevator, ski storage and easy access to all local attractions. Whether it’s relaxing by the pool, enjoying a soak in the hot tub, or exploring the nearby trails and slopes, this condo ensures a memorable and relaxing stay.
Complimentary assigned covered parking for one car. Vehicle must be under 6' 8" in height. Additional cars must register with the parking department and purchase a parking pass, $15/day, for the nearby lots in the winter - parking is free in the summer.

All iTrip Aspen Snowmass properties have WIFI and all rentals are stocked with professionally laundered linens and towels and a starter supply of the following: coffee, tea, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, trash bags, sponge, dish detergent and soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand soaps. If your home has a wood burning fireplace we provide a starter supply of wood. Additional stock of these items are available for purchase at the local grocery stores.

Great stay in Snowmass!
We had an amazing stay at this condo in Snowmass! The location was absolutely perfect – just steps away from the slopes and close to restaurants and shops, which made everything super convenient for our family. The pool was a huge hit with the kids, and it was great to have a relaxing spot after a day of hiking. The condo itself was well-equipped, clean, and cozy, making it ideal for our young family. It had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again!

Pros: Spacious, clean, good location.Cons: The reno - bathroom has not been renovated, only vanity replaced. Kitchen - partialy renovated. Dishwasher has not been replaced and is probably 50 years old - doesn't wash the dishes at all. Over all okay if you don't plan to cook or like to wash dishes by hand.

Perfect Location
My husband and I visited Aspen and Snowmass area and found this gem on VRBO. It was a perfect location to all of the activities we had planned (hiking, fishing, shopping, eating!) The pool and hot tub were within quick walking distance and were spotless each day. The clean laundry area was empty and ready for us to use. The overall appearance was dated but we loved the unit and found it very comfortable. The communication we had (texting) with itrip was outstanding and very helpful.

Loved my stay here!
First of all I have to say that the staff I have dealt with as I planned my trip, were exceptional! And that continued throughout my stay. If I needed anything they were there.
I truly enjoyed my condo. It had everything I needed. I spent a couple of afternoons in the hot tub. The temperature was perfect. The pool was very nice too.
Obviously there are fancier places to stay but why spend all that money when you can stay here and have the service I have had. If I do come back to Aspen, I will probably stay here again.

Clean but tired
The unit is reasonably close to the gondola and main lift, but a little walk. The parking lot was always icy and treacherous. The unit itself is dated, and could use an update. The bathroom heater smelled of burning, and we didn't use it. One of the two humidifiers didn't work.Don't bother asking for a late checkout, or to leave the car in the lot for your last day of skiing. They are not accommodating.All in all, we've stayed in better at Snowmass.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate when our guests take the time to share ways in which we can improve. Unfortunately certain things are outside of our control and others we can only help with when notified. While we were unable to accommodate a late checkout and extended parking request for your peak season stay we do offer this when we can. We did have another guest arriving that day and needed the parking spot to accommodate cleaners and inspectors. Snowmass offers daily parking for $15/day (pretty reasonable for a premier ski resort) so there were options for you while you were skiing on they day of your checkout. We are clear that our check-in time is 4pm and our check out time is 10am during the booking process and in follow up messaging in hopes that we can assist with advance planning when your travel plans extend beyond those times.
We are currently working with the owner of this unit on some nice updates to her charming one bedroom that we believe will only enhance the location and amenities found at Lichenhearth.
We value your feedback and will use it to improve our property management procedures. We hope you'll give us the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

Wouldn’t stay here again
I booked late so didn’t have a lot of options but quickly realized why this place was one of them. Hasn’t been updated since maybe 1989? Or 1979. But not in a cool way. The bedsheets were pure polyester and sparked as you got into bed. It’s an interesting experience to be sweating and cold at the same time. The kitchen counter was the height of my knees, complete with cigarette burn. Wood fire was nice. Sofa was extremely uncomfortable. But you can walk to the village and lifts of Snowmass quite easily. Wouldn’t recommend if you can afford something better.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding the condo you rented for your trip to Snowmass last month. As we manage approximately 100 units in Aspen Snowmass we are aware this specific condo could benefit from updated decor and more modern furnishings. The pictures do accurately represent the appointments and there is also a 3D walk through tour available so we are transparent and properly represent the condo to renters. We pride ourselves on providing very clean and well maintained units, regardless of the style, in order to accommodate travelers of all budgets interested in coming to visit our area. We understand the linens were not up to your standards but do want to make it clear they are hospitality grade linens and are 65/45 cotton/poly count. This is standard in the industry. They are not 100% polyester.
It is our intention to share your feedback on the decor and the sofa with the owner of the condo and suggest nice updates to her in order to make this rental even more appealing with the convenient location, incredible amenities and more affordable price point. We hope you are able to plan further in advance on your next trip and book something that better suits your particular travel needs.
