Parking: The parking lot is directly across the street. Guests can use the owner's driveway briefly to load and unload.

You are walking distance from downtown New Glasgow. Located directly across the street from the Westside Plaza which includes: Sobeys, NSLC, Scotiabank ATM, Greco, Chicks R Us Broasted Chicken, etc.

You are just steps away from: Carmichael Park, the Samson Trail, Rotary Park and Picnic Area with Little Free Library.

Also within walking distance: China Boat and Tilly's Kitchen restaurants.

Arranged my schedule to accommodate guests request for early check in, which he didnt even use. Guest required an excessive amount of communication pre-stay. Guest should have looked at the 30 photos in the listing prior to booking, the beds and kitchen are clearly shown. I use that faucet daily when cleaning the apartment. Safe travels.

There were shops in the area which was convenient. The parking was across a very busy street and very unsafe. The noise from that busy road woke us up at 6:30 in the morning. The room was well equipped but the couch was sunken in and extremely uncomfortable to sit on.The front porch was is bad shape and there were garbage bags out doors when we got there. The host was very accommodating and communication with her was excellent. I would recommend her as a host but I cannot recommend this location.

Clean but cluttered

I stayed with my son. So 2 adults. The place was clean and the landlady nice. The apt. was very small and cluttered mostly because of the size of the apt. There was 2 beds in the living room as soon as you walk in. The apt is approx 10 feet wide and 18 feet long with a bedroom 5 x 8 with a bunkbed that only had a foot beteen the wall and the bed. Good for a night maybe 2. the apt

The listing clearly states the apartment is cozy and 300 square feet. There are 32 professional photos accurately showing the furniture, layout, and size, including the living room beds and bunk room. Expectations were properly set; if you wanted a larger space, booking a larger unit would have been more appropriate. The location is accurately described and photographed, directly across from Sobeys Westside Plaza and steps from downtown and the bridge. Just lovely

Great central location in Pictou county, and specifically, New Glasgow. I was able to walk to restaurants, downtown, groceries, parks. And very quick (<10 minutes) drive to theatres, malls, and Stellarton, Westville, and about 20 minutes to the town of Pictou. The unit itself was very cozy, clean and has all the little things you need to stay comfortably away from home (kitchen utensils, appliances, towels, shampoo, Wifi , etc.) Michelle is a diligent renter, attention to detail is obvious, as the unit is very tidy, check-in/check-out is seamless, and has information on everything a tourist to the area would need to know about the area. Overall very happy with my stay, and I would definitely return to this unit if I came back to visit again. Thanks Michelle!

Property walking distance to grocery store and downtown. Sits on a fairly busy street. The accommodations were tight. We had 4 people. 2 of the beds are in the front room so no couch( sitting area). The one very small room had rickety bunk beds that squeaked with every turn. We had difficulty opening and closing the door due to lack of space and there was very limited space to move around. Basically a closet with a window- no exaggeration. I’d say this in a fine property for 2-3 people at most. It’s basic but it has everything you need in a very convenient, albeit slightly noisy location.

The review is quite different from the comment you wrote in my guest book April 25. “We really enjoyed our stay and are so grateful for the location! Love waking up and walking over to Sobey’s for our free coffee. Overall great place and great environment to stay in. Thanks for the great stay!” There is a 2-3 seat wicker couch at the dining table and a day bed to use as a couch. The bunk beds were purchased new from the retailer July 2024. I just hosted a family of 6 this past weekend they commented: “Our kids had fun and we felt like home… definitely we will plan to visit again soon.” No concerns were raised before, during, or after your stay. The listing clearly states the apartment is cozy and 300 square feet. There are 32 professional photos accurately showing the furniture, layout, and size, including the living room beds and bunk room. Expectations were properly set; if you wanted a larger space, booking a larger unit elsewhere, would have been more appropriate. Any dissatisfaction with the location appears to be personal preference, rather than an issue with the listing’s accuracy. We offered thoughtful amenities, including complimentary toiletries, a stocked kitchen, snacks, drinks, breakfast items, board games, books, and personalized local guides. We take pride in offering a clean, well-equipped, and honestly represented space. Nice little place

The home was easy to find and the host was responsive and helpful. Parking was fine. All areas inside were clean and neat. The wifi worked just fine and the beds were comfy. Because two of us snore and the third can't tolerate snoring, it was quite helpful that the two sleeping areas are at different ends of the space with a door that can be closed between. Easy walking distance to several nice restaurants. Many positives. The only thing that is not ideal is the space is small and crowded. The front door only opens partially because the queen bed is in the way. We each stubbed our toes on the trundle bed wheels as we walked between it and the little dining table. We each had one medium-size bag and ended up using the twin bed above the trundle to store them on; there were two luggage racks stored in the bathroom, but the only possible place to use them is in the middle of the kitchen or in front of the bathroom door. The small space was workable for us three, but I can't imagine that six people could stay in the space as is stated. Probably it would work out better to remove the twin/trundle bed from the front area where the other bed and kitchen/dining area are and just say the space is meant for not more than four.

This was a review from a family of four who stayed recently through another site: "was a good stay the host was very friendly we had a family night she sent us all the information of what was going on around us and gave us lots of ideas for stuff to do". This was a review from a group of 3 women who stayed prior to you, through a different site: "Great location! Check-in 5 Cleanliness 5 Accuracy 5 Communication 5 Location 5" The photos of the apartment are new, accurate and current and give an accurate depiction of the size, space and layout. I have a family of five staying, my brother's (2 adults, 3 children) and the space was designed for them. Not many places or hotels have comfortable sleeping arrangements for larger families. The luggage racks fit on either side of the queen bed. The door does open beyond 90 degrees, which is what most people expect. I'm sorry this disppointed you. The trundle does fit completely under the bed, concealing the wheels, unless the bed has been pushed back or moved by the occupant. I will order stoppers to prevent the twin bed from being moved and/or a headboard to go along the length of the daybed (to prevent if from being moved). You describe the space as crammed, while other guests have commented on the other site, that it is uncluttered. Thanks for your feedback and comnents. It sounds like spending more money and renting a 2 or 3 bedroom home might suit your needs better in the future instead of an apartment.
