Our open-concept living space is thoughtfully designed for the ultimate cozy retreat. It features a queen bed perfectly positioned to let you relax and take in the ever-changing ocean views, a small lounging area, and a dining table just right for two. For added charm, a cupboard with board games, puzzles, and cards invites you to unwind and enjoy quality time together in this serene and inviting space.

- Kitchen -
Our dome kitchen combines modern convenience with country charm, making it far from rustic. Fully equipped with a range oven, cooktop, and vent exhaust, as well as an apartment-sized fridge with a freezer, it has everything you need for effortless meal prep. For your morning coffee ritual, we’ve provided both a French press and a pour-over coffee maker so you can savor the perfect cup while taking in the serene surroundings. The kitchen also comes stocked with all the tools you'll need, from cookware to glassware, ensuring you have everything you need. And with a dishwasher on hand, you can spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying your holiday!

- Bathroom -
Our bathroom is generously sized and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and style. It features a spacious glass shower with a luxurious rainhead and handheld wand. Charming decor adds a touch of personality, making this space as inviting as it is functional—a perfect spot to refresh and relax during your stay. For those with accessibility needs, this bathroom complies with ADA guidelines and includes a barrier-free shower.

- Dome Details -
While our domes offer five-star comfort, they are still, at their core, elaborate tents, bringing you closer to nature. On occasion small leaks may appear near the perimeter due to freezing, thawing or condensation, but they rarely impact the living space—just a small part of the dome experience!

- Deck -
Step onto your private deck and immerse yourself in serenity. Elevated for breathtaking ocean views, this secluded oasis is designed to let you fully unwind. Close the gate to shut out the world and enjoy the soothing jets of your private hot tub. Relax in the two Muskoka chairs perfectly positioned to face the ocean, or start-up the propane fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars. With an outdoor patio table and chairs, your deck offers everything you need for dining, lounging, and soaking in the beauty of your surroundings. For those with accessibility needs, the deck has a ramp that complies with ADA guidelines.


- Property -
There are two domes on the property each with their own private parking area. As with most places that have more than one accommodation, sound can sometimes travel - for this reason, our property is child and pet free. Like many properties on the East Coast, our domes are perfectly situated along both the ocean and the road. While you might occasionally hear some noise from the road, most guests don't notice or mind. The breathtaking view and soothing sound of the ocean drowns-out everything else. Plus, our domes come equipped with a white noise machine, just in case!

Located just outside the charming village of LaHave, The Lookout Domes are the perfect base for your South Shore adventure. Just minutes from the world-famous LaHave Bakery and the quaint artisan and antique shops along the Lighthouse Route, you’ll find endless opportunities to explore. The nearby LaHave Cable Ferry offers a fast and scenic trip to Lunenburg, while Crescent and Rissers Beach are just a short drive away for a day on the sand.
