Large private fenced yard with guest patio, fire pit and surrounding gardens.
Super clean, comfortable and cozy home away from home with creative decor inside and out. This one bedroom apartment has a spacious open concept lay out with a large well equipped kitchen and living room area. There is a sofa bed and electric fireplace in the living room . Roku TV and surround sound plus many many movies for the whole family to enjoy. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom plus access to a single foam mattress if required. There is no laundry facilities in the apartment but I do offer a free laundry service if in need . The half acre property is completely fenced and perfect for your dog to run leash free and the host dog is always up for playtime. There is a patio with a fire pit surrounded by gardens exclusive to guests but youâre also welcome to roam the property at your leisure. There is free parking for one vehicle in the back yard parking lot. Itâs a lovely neighbour hood to explore with the Grand river right across the road , ball diamonds and soccer fields , parks and trails and two of the cities favourite restaurants are all within walking distance. It is a quick drive to anywhere in the city yet still in a small town setting . A short drive outside of the city puts you in the heart of Mennonite country with villages that offer local attractions and markets. Also close by is the Elora racetrack and casino. I also offer the opportunity for you to take a private three hour canoe trip down the Grand river where youâll be surrounded by nature . I will provide all the essentials and the transportation .
Doggy heaven for sure, my pup's absolutely loved the huge backyard. The host was amazing! Kathy was friendly, incredibly accommodating and thoughtful. We very much enjoyed our 2 & 1/2 weeks here and would highly recommend this property.
Wonderful cozy accommodations. Had everything we needed. Kathy was a wonderful host and communicated very clearly. The property was perfectly located for us to visit family without too much of a drive in either location. We were so thankful to have been able to stay here. Thereâs a full kitchen, shower, and cozy living room.
Kathy was great with communication and was very clear with check in instructions. The place was clean and tidy, comfortable, and easy to find. The welcome basket was lovely :)Thank you Kathy!
Kathy's place was perfect for our short stay in the area. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The yard is fantastic for dogs and our dog had fun playing with Sivian (Kathy's dog).
An oasis in the big city! Quiet neighborhood, quaint garden, easy to get around everywhere we wished to go. Great for a couple that just needs some down time. Hostess went above and beyond our expectations. We definitely give this a 10 plus.
Dear Kathy! We wanted to express our heartfelt thanks for the incredible hospitality you showed us during our stay at your lovely property. The tranquility and beauty of the surroundings made our visit truly special, and we felt completely at home. The personal touches and thoughtful amenities made all the difference, turning our stay into a truly enjoyable experience. We were particularly impressed by how well everything was prepared and how warmly we were welcomed. Thank you once again for making our stay so memorable. We hope to have the pleasure of visiting you again in the future. Best regards, Tatiana
Iâm from Elmira a small town close to Kitchener. After a relationship failed I took an apartment in Bridgeport. I was in that apt for seven years. It was really small but I loved Brideport so much. I decided to stay. Itâs been over 20 years since I bought this house and I still feel the same way.. I renovated my basement into an apartment which eventually became a short term rental and another decision Iâve never regretted. I get to meet people from all over the world and share my special space with them . A lot of them like to travel with their pets and Iâm so happy I can make that possible.
Bridgeport has a lot of space compared to the rest of the city . Itâs like itâs own small town as soon as you cross the bridge. I had a Labrador retriever when I moved here and having the river and trails was such a great place for us. Iâve had four dogs since and I couldnât give them a better place to live their lives it truly is a doggyâs dream and mine as well. I
The size of the properties in Bridgeport is incredible . Youâre hard pressed to find any city or even towns that have so many large properties that have not been severed and developed . My property is in a row with many of the same size all approximately 80âx300â. Mine is the only one in this row that is entirely fenced . And I have a magnificent willow tree in the centre of it . I have more gardens than a park as it is my favorite pastime. I have a huge fire pit and have had so many good times with friends and family and guests around the fire . The atmosphere here is relaxed and without the hustle bustle of the city.
