Queen Victoria Park is the oldest park in Kitchener. It is situated on a gorgeous lake where you can walk the many trails throughout the park & waterways - with stunning views of the famous Iron Bridge that stretches across the lake, beautiful flower gardens, and of course the wonderful Geese & Swans that float along the lake. The park has a huge playground for little ones, a splash pad in the hot summer months, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, an ice skating rink in the cold winter months, tons of events held right in the Park such as the famous yearly Multicultural Festival or even Ribfest, plus SO MUCH MORE!!
Victoria Park Pavillion Banquet Hall is also situated in Victoria Park where there are many weddings and concerts held.
You truly will not be disappointed with all of the wonderful options you will have in this location all-year round!
Stayed here for 3 nights, in Kitchener for a business trade show. Asked ahead of arrival for MANY favours (accept deliveries, send pictures of amenities etc.) and the host was beyond gracious and accommodating. Actual accommodations are comfortable and inviting, neighbourhood was an added bonus with park nearby. This VRBO host was THE BEST that I have ever dealt with. I can't recommend this place highly enough!!
My husband and I stay in KW multiple times per year, and this property is always our first choice. Clean, comfortable, well appointed and quiet. We are just close enough to the downtown core to walk there in 10-15 min, but far enough that it is quiet and relaxing.
The Willow Suite was a great stay for my partner and our dogs! Here for a wedding so the place allowed us to keep our dogs close and getting ready was a breeze with how clean the place is and the awesome amenities. Location was perfect for dog owners, great for walks. Kristy was super helpful and quick when we had troubles with a sticking door. Very comfy bed and sheets.
The Willow Suite is newly renovated, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Kristy is a super-host and I loved the approachable and great communication during the stay. Location is supreme across from Victoria Park, which it's a gorgeous nature outing; and 5min walk from downtown Kitchener. I would definitely want to stay here again next time I visit my daughter at University in Waterloo.
We came KW area to visit friends in the St Jacobs area. The room was up a fairly long flight of outdoor stairs which were very sturdy. No issue, just so everyone is aware that all luggage and such needs to be toted up. The unit was newly remodeled and in very very nice condition. It was setup very nicely and had everything we needed. We walked around Victoria Park over to the nearest Starbucks and felt very safe. I highly recommend this unit.
Our upper suite was the perfect spot for a small-town get-away; it was fitted with everything we needed and had lovely stylish touches to make our stay comfy and enjoyable. Itâs also in a great area of Kitchener, right beside the city park which made for lovely evening strolls. Elora and Fergus were also close by for day visits. I would highly recommend this suite to anyone!
I stayed in that place almost two weeks.
The pace is clean, quiet and cozy.
All needed is there.
It is close do downtown.
My dogs and I enjoyed the most the easy access to the BEAUTIFULL park just steps away.
I would definitely stayed again :-)

The Willow is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Kitchener for a short or long time. Kristy is a responsive host and has attention to details. The Willow is located next to Victoria Park and walking and biking trails. Perfect for the active visitor.
The apartment is beautiful and has all the things you need for a comfortable getaway. The shower is super nice, and the bedding really comfortable.
My only real issue is with VRBO's app not giving the option to show Canadian dollars on Canadian rentals, but that is not the host's fault.
This was my second stay here, and it was comfortable again. Love the decor. The kitchen is well stocked for us to cook, and it comes with a Brita filter - extra nice given how much I don't like Kitchener tall water.
Amazing couples retreat. Quiet and tranquil, with a good selection of things to do nearby. I've already booked my next stay.
Also, Kristy is a great host who answers questions quickly, and cares about her property. Generally, I cannot recommend enough.
My husband & I have been buying REALLY old homes in the Kitchener-Waterloo area over the past couple of years (our oldest house so far being built in 1880!) and we fully renovate them ourselves!!
We buy them, pour our heart + souls into them, and then create really unique, perfectly small, high end units that we can share with YOU!
One thing I absolutely love about this property is that it is in one of Kitchener's historic districts. Although this comes with it's challenges for renovations (needing to follow the historic guidelines can be tough sometimes), it's also really unique and builds a story into our renovation project.
