Located down an iconic Island red dirt road, you'll find the 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 nestled among mature trees with a back drop of sand and sea. Enjoy the ocean view while drinking your morning coffee on the master ensuite veranda and the spectacular sunsets from the large, private patio.

The 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 is mere steps away from one of the Island's best beaches. At low tide, you can enjoy long walks along the shore, and children can splash in the warm tidal pools searching for hermit crabs. The calm waters and red sand make spending a beach day in the sun the ultimate pleasure. Our tranquil beach means you have lots of space to run and play.

The Northumberland Strait is a breathtaking and inviting body of water. The strait's shallow depths lend to warm water temperatures in summer months, with areas reaching 25°C, or 77°F. Consequently, the strait is home to the 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗮. It is the jewel in the crown of paddle boarding and watersport activities in PEI.

We're a short drive from the Confederation Bridge, the Charlottetown & Moncton Airports, all major amenities and tourist attractions.

This waterfront cottage is 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 in a beachy, cozy theme. There are 3 bedrooms; two with queen size beds, one with a single over single set of bunk beds, plus a pullout sofa bed in the main room. There is a 4 piece bathroom with a washer and dryer. The 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 features a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. The main room is equipped with a dining table that seats 6, comfortable lounging furniture, super fast and reliable Wi-Fi, dedicated workspace, and a smart TV so you can watch your favourite shows as you relax at the end of your perfect vacation day in PEI. French patio doors lead from the main room to a spacious patio, from which there is a breathtaking view of the Confederation Bridge and the Northumberland Strait. From there you can enjoy a BBQ and a campfire while stargazing.

Excellent Location

Location was perfect! Great cottage on the ocean with balcony. Perfect for relaxation and walking on the beach during low tide. Peaceful and quiet setting. Nicely renovated, with good sized rooms. Very clean. Hostess was very responsive and helpful! Would stay here again!

Great quiet getaway for a family!

We had a lovely time at this property with our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The kids loved exploring the red sands and the ocean during low tide, discovering sea creatures, and we even found many oysters, mussels and clams for our own seafood dinner :). House was very clean with everything in working order and a good stash of kitchen supplies. Location is peaceful and we were able to drive easily to other locations in PEI (Summerside, Cavendish) for day trips.

BEAUTIFUL MARITIME LOCATION

Loved our stay. House is right on the oceanfront! The area is beautiful and we saw the rest of the island on day trips because everything is so close. The house was comfortable. Lots of tv options which we enjoyed in the evenings. Nice firepit in the yard and bbq on the deck. Quiet private area. The host was very quick to reply to any of our questions and very accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

A wonderful week on the coast of PEI. House was very clean with all new furnishings and the location was perfect. We spent days playing out in the water and exploring the flat sandy beach especially at low tides. Enjoyed the kayak and the paddle board and the big yard. As another reviewer mentioned, there were mosquitoes that limited the ability to sit out in the early evening but they weren’t a problem during the day. Krista was a super helpful and responsive host. Don’t miss the sunsets jsut down the road at the Seacow Head Lighthouse, they are amazing.

Vacation

First and foremost I wanted to say that this is a gem of a house. With beautiful views of the water. However our stay was not what you would consider a perfect getaway (not the host fault). We arrived with my dad and my elderly uncle who’s 85. He was coming down the stairs when he misjudged a steep and fell and hit his head against the wood fireplace. My uncle needed an ambulance My reason for adding this information is not for blame or sympathy it is due To the way we where treated by the amazing paramedics and amazing staff of doctors ,nurses at the Summerside hospital er. This is by far the best care we have received. From the bottom of my heart thank you so so much for the care. So my uncle was better by the time we returned to the beach house. We were able to enjoy this wonderful place on the ocean. Thank you so much Krista for allowing us to stay here. What a nice rest we eventually had.the breeze was amazing Thank you
