At the end of a long and winding driveway through the forest, White Rock is perched above a steep rocky incline overlooking the north bank of the Gaspereau Valley, an agricultural community with an abundance of farms and apple orchards. In recent years, the valley has become the home of Nova Scotiaâs premiere vineyards and cideries. White Rock was designed as an escape â an opportunity for solitude high above the valley floor with views above the tree line. It is a place to disconnect and rest.
The most beautiful, peaceful, luxurious place we have ever stayed
Our stay at White Rock was perfect in every aspect. Our host Natalie was very quick to respond to questions during the booking process and made sure we had everything we needed for when we arrived, the organic milk, wines and charcuterie board were wonderful and truly appreciated.
The white rock guest cabin is stunning. The fit and finish is top notch and we were in awe of the space and how perfect it was for our weekend escape. Every detail was truly elevated.
The location in the Annapolis valley is great and easy to access many things in the area, including walking distance to Benjamin Bridge. However once we got to the house we found ourselves wanting to stay in, relax, and enjoy the space instead of going to explore the area. This is opposite of any space we have stayed before.
For those who are going to stay here I recommend taking screen shots of the important parts of the house manual before arriving as there is little cell reception in the area. Once you are in and have access to wifi and roof top patio itâs no longer an issue.
We canât thank Natalie enough for her great hospitality and for the OG team for developing and curating such and beautifully, peaceful retreat.
