This lovely Douglas Coach House studio is located in the heart of Downtown Douglas, walking distance from shops, restaurants, and coffee houses. You'll love exploring the charming village of Douglas, with its unique stores and art galleries. Wander just blocks to Wade’s Bayou, where you can rent kayaks and explore Lake Kalamazoo. And of course, you can't miss the stunning views of Lake Michigan from nearby Oval Beach!



Upstairs is a true studio apartment, with soaring vaulted ceilings and windows on every wall. The small kitchen is simple but does provide a small range, microwave, drip coffee pot and refrigerator, along with a petite dining area perfect for enjoying your coffee before heading out to explore the local area. There are many restaurants and cafe's just within a very short walking distance. The living room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating for lounging and enjoying the sunshine, peace and quiet. There is a large king bed and two individual closets to make settling in and feeling at home easy.



The large outdoor stone patio is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine, and dine on some take out al fresco. Please note this patio area is a shared space with the adjacent home, and this studio apartment is located up a full set of stairs. The first-floor studio is private and not included in the rental. Guest Access:

Private Entrance: Please note that the entry door is not the double French doors shown on the patio. Guests will access the apartment through the private side/back entrance, which is equipped with an electronic keypad lock.



The studio apartment is located on the second floor and is accessed via a full flight of stairs.

Easily walkable to downtown Douglas, located on a quiet charming side street.



Other Things to Note:

There is NO washer or dryer in the unit, the trash is shared with the home next door. Look for the large blue bins. There is a parking pad exclusively for the guests, located just in front of the entrace to the home.
