Host was great. VRBO should be reimbursing me due to false advertising. Advertised the place being available 1/7-1/11 which is what I booked and paid. We could not check in until 1/8 and had to look for places to stay after flying in the night of. The host was super helpful but VRBO did a horrible job at communicating and trying to help. They should reimburse somehow for troubles
I booked this listing and contacted the owner as directed to get information on how to check in. The owner informed me the property was not available, and asked me to cancel. VRBO confirmed that it is unacceptable for the owner to ask me to cancel, and further, any properties listed as available are expected to be available. Luckily I was able to get a refund from VRBO, though they cannot refund the time wasted dealing with this disappointing matter.
Condo is functional and location is ideal. The information on listing and for arrival/departure is limited. It is part of a resort, which is helpful bc there is a staffed front desk, parking pass, amenities. But the resort has rules that arenât communicated well. For instance check out time is actually 10 am. The owner was helpful when I needed help, but you need to call him and not message, he gave me number to front desk which is very helpful, I would ask for it. Also condo is basic, but I expect that for the price. Overall functional and great location make it well worth the price
Check in instructions and listing was confusing. It was never mentioned what the name of the property was, just the address. The picture showed a different building. When the owner gave us the phone number and I called, I was told we had no reservation. VRBO written reply was we had no reservation. Eventually things were sorted out but with an effort. The property looks dated. Otherwise it was OK.
I bought this property when I was younger and single, to guarantee I would always have access to some of the best world-class skiing I have ever experienced.
This resort is only about a 45 minute drive from Salt Lake City and it's excellent international airport (going up the canyon. 30 minutes coming down.) Also, there are 3 other parallel canyons running east from Salt Lake City that each have 2 or 3 other world class skiing resorts; all withing an hour drive of the airport.
