Exactly what we needed

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental! The space was perfect for our needs, with plenty of room to relax and move around comfortably. The layout made it easy for everyone to enjoy their own space while still spending time together. The location was also fantastic — it was close to everything we wanted to see and do, which made our trip even more enjoyable and convenient. Having the grocery store down below was incredibly convenient as well. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

This rental had a significant amount of space and was very clean and well furnished. Location was convenient. Worth noting that there are quite a few trains that move through town during the night and the tracks are just across the street, but that is no fault of the host, but could impact one's stay. Overall, great lodging for the price.

4.5 We were only there for a quick get away. Easy & excellent location to many restaurants & bars in the area. Babe’s country club is a must find!!The trains do ‘blow through’ fast, but we slept through many. There is a big flight of stairs for this upper ‘apartment-like” area, be aware for those not able to do stairs. Clean, crisp & nicely decorated kitchen which looks to be recently remodeled. Love the floors throughout especially in the living & bedroom areas! Remember there is only one bathroom if one does book w 6 people!Easy communication w the owner! We had no issues! We would def book again if we come to the area!

This is an amazing space. Bedrooms are large and the living room is huge! I love Lyndon Station, such a quiet town. The train horn is the only nuisance.

Unhappy

The property sits right next to train tracks which was not disclosed in the property description. My family was woken up almost every hour to a train horn in the middle of the night. The property was super-hot with only one air condition window in the property. We were super unhappy with this property. Wi-Fi was very spotty and would glitch in and out while watching TV.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-We sincerely apologize for any issues you experienced with the air conditioning. While we have not received prior reports of problems with the A/C, we recognize that this summer has been particularly hot. We wish you had contacted the property manager during your stay so we could have promptly addressed the issue.-Regarding the train, we want to highlight that the listing includes a photo of the nearby tracks to provide transparency about their proximity. To date, we have not received any other complaints about noise from the train, but we understand that individual experiences can vary.We appreciate your feedback and hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide a better experience in the future.

Loud, frequent trains

Overall, the space was clean and cute. We loved having so much space and having 3 bedrooms available. We stayed in the summer, and there were 2 window A/C units, a portable A/C unit, and 1 fan. We ran them non stop and overall it kept the majority of the space, with the exception of the kitchen area, pretty cool. The on site laundry was much appreciated, giving us a way to wash swimsuits and towels after visiting the water parks. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, silverware, plates, and glasses.The beds were relatively comfortable, but would recommend bringing your own pillows, as only 2 thin pillows per bed are provided.The biggest downside is that the location is right next to a train track. The trains came by frequently, about every 2 hours (even through the night) and would blow their horns right outside our window. SO LOUD and woke us up every time.We also had trouble with the TV being glitchy in apps such as Netflix, presumably because the internet was spotty or unable to support the apps.
