Cozy Orange Cottage.

Close to the Ellenborough Falls in the village of Elands, this cozy cottage is set on 2 acres of beautiful surroundings on the Bulga Plateau. This place is good for a couple or solo adventurer. The whole cottage is available to you, including 1 bedroom with double bed. There is also an extra single mattress available if needed.
There is a small shop in the village. A food kiosk is open at the Ellenborough Falls on weekends and during school holidays.
Wildlife include wallabies, goanna, brush turkeys, plenty of birds, frogs and the occasional koala.

The space
There are many walks in the area, waterfalls to explore, wonderful places to swim. The cottage is on the edge of the village, only 1 friendly neighbour, surrounded by bush on the other sides.
Within walking distance to the Ellenborough falls.

Guest access
1 room with double bed, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living area with wood stove. There is also an extra single mattress that could be put in the lounge room. The advertised price is for 2 people. $20 per extra person.
TV available, books, also some DVD's.

You are free to use produce from the vegie garden, there are also fresh eggs, honey and vegies available at the local shop.

All basics like oil, vinegar, spices, teas, coffee, are provided in the kitchen.

During your stay
I, (or a friend if I'm away ) will be there to welcome you. We will also be there to answer any questions or requests.

Other things to note
This cottage is my home, so will contain some personal belongings. My bedroom will be locked, but the rest of the cottage is for your use.

There is no fuel here on the plateau, so fill up before starting on the mountain road.
When turning into the driveway ( past red tank and mud shed), veer right.
The road to Elands is a winding dirt road, but you don't need a 4WD vehicle to drive around here. The school bus does this route daily, so it's perfectly safe for cars. There is good mobile reception on the plateau, but not on the mountain road between Wingham and Elands.
It's usually 3° cooler here in the mountains than in town, so perfect for hot days. On cold days there is the wood stove or reverse cycle A/C.
