Comfortable and relaxing place to stay with friends for a wedding in town. Appropriate kitchen amenities and a two ways to get our coffee fix in! Beds were comfortable and good hanging racks and luggage racks for travelers. Good and relaxing balcony overlooking pond that we enjoyed.

The property was perfect for our group of 8. We had five adults and three children. It felt private but was super close to town. We had a few issues but worked with the hosta to get them resolved.

The kitchen counters and table were dirty with crusted food along with the stove top, which I had to scrub them all off. Oven was nasty dirty. there were plenty of dishes and glasses but as far a pans went, the only clean useable was 2 sauce pans There was a small griddle type one that still had food on it, /disgusting. I went out and purchased my own pans to use. The floors were dirty, not mopped. I dropped an egg on it and when I cleaned you could see the filthy on the floor on the paper towel. The bathroom sinks and counters had toothpaste splash from the previous people. Long black hair on the floor in the hall Bathroom, I swept it up. The hand soap, or lack of only had an 1/8 amounts in them. The hall bathroom did not have any, I took the one from the kitchen so there would be soap for handwashing. I had everyone add some of their hair soap to them so they had enough for the weekend. The living room and Bedrooms were decent and there was a good supply of towels. The were a couple things that I addressed to the owner, Window in upstairs did not close all the way and the screws in the smaller bedroom door top hinge were gone causing the door to slant and catch when opening and closing of it. This did not effect our stay and told him it could be fixed after we left. There was a pool table and bag set in the lower level which we did enjoyed using. Poison Ivy along walk way needs to be address as you must be very careful to not come in contact with it.

JUST BEAUTIFUL!!

This property had everything it said. Pictures are just like the rooms look. This was in 10 minutes of all of the Family Reunion events. I would diffently recommend this beautiful home. So spacious, and I mean all rooms! Felt like home.

Perfect!

I was shocked but grateful this house was available on short notice. Sits back from a road that dead ends, so away from the hustle and bustle, but only 2 miles from anything you need to shop or dine. The house is cute and everything was clean and ready for us to relax. The pool table and bean bag set in the basement was an awesome surprise and used a lot. My family and I will definitely stay again.

I love the way. The property is located on the water. It was very nice and breezy and really, really quiet. The inside of the house was really beautiful. I can’t describe how it was and they had everything set up really nicely and they had a scavenger hunt for the kids which was really awesome and the kids loved their prizes. The only thing I didn’t like was in some of the cabinets with the dishes. They were actually bugs so we had to wash the dishes before we use them other than that, I love this property.

Disappointing

We came to Paris for our sons Bassmaster’s tournament, which we travel a lot for and have stayed in many vrbo’s. We were not expecting a very long, windy, driveway with partially washed out culverts to get to the house. That alone makes it dangerous for normal single vehicles, but impossible to maneuver a truck and boat. As we were struggling to get up the driveway, the neighbor proceeded to come over yelling at us very angry for driving off the driveway a couple feet into his property saying “I own the property on each side of this driveway and you cannot drive anywhere off this driveway, and the driveway is an easement through my property” This is an issue because it’s almost impossible to stay on the driveway due to how washed out and narrow it is. I did reach out to Consetta and her only “idea” was to park our boats somewhere else in a public area. After sweet talking the neighbor, we came to an agreement that allowed us the space we needed to very carefully get in and out of the driveway, but going forward he will not allow that to happen again. Consetta never once reached out after my phone call to check to make sure we were able to get in and settled due to the issue. The house itself needs a really good overall deep cleaning and the kitchen also needs some tending too. Very disappointing stay overall and we will not be back on our next visit to Kentucky Lake. Also, heads up to Consetta that the neighbor is going to be installing a fence going forward.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- The listing indicates parking is available for up to four standard vehicles, but it doesn’t specify space for larger setups like multiple trucks and boats. We ask guests traveling with oversized vehicles or trailers to call the guest contact ahead to verify parking capacity.- A photo of the parking area is included in the listing, but it’s possible this may have been overlooked prior to booking.- The driveway is approximately 1/8 mile long with one curve around a private pond. We can confirm the driveway is not washed out.- We were unaware of any cleanliness concerns during your stay and wish you had brought this to our attention. We would have promptly responded and been happy to help. We will address this with the cleaning team to ensure our high standards are met.Thanks for sharing your experience. Your feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.
