The Space:
Djindarup Retreat 2 by Tiny Away is situated in the exciting town of Margaret River, Australia. This tiny house is just a 3-hour drive from Perth, the ultimate spot for thrilling surf locations and world-renowned wineries.

Explore the town’s natural wonders, including Mammoth Cave, Ngilgi Cave, and Lake Cave. Enjoy world-class surf breaks or relax on the beautiful beaches of Boranup, Gnarabup, North Point, and Hamelin Bay. Indulge in the region’s acclaimed wineries and celebrate creativity during the annual Margaret River Open Studio Festival each September.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we have a total of 4 holiday homes on the property, and they are available with 24 hours' notice in advance.

Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home, the lake, and a walking track around the lake, except for the land hosts' private residence and garden.

ADVISORY:

- Canoes are provided free for guests.
- Guests have exclusive access to individual gas BBQs.
- Laundry facilities and a reading room are also available.

Preorders are available with 24 hrs prior notice:

- Bikes are $15 per day for the two bikes, while $10 for morning or afternoon.
- Tap water is potable; bottled water can be purchased from the land host.

Djindarup Retreat 2 by Tiny Away is located in the Margaret River, Western Australia. Just a 3-hour drive from Perth, our holiday homes are perfect for exploring natural spots like caves, coastlines, beaches, and wineries.

Discover some of the town’s hidden gems like natural Mammoth Cave, ancient Ngilgi Cave, and the underground Lake Cave. Surfer mode on at world-class surf spots, while you can also enjoy swimming at Boranup Beach, Gnarabup Beach, North Point, and Hamlin Bay.

Visit the well-known wineries like Evans & Tate, Vasse Felix, Dormilona and more. Celebrate arts with Margaret River Open Studio Festival every September of the year. Just near our tiny house, dine in at local food hubs like Blue Ginger Fine Foods & Cafe or Walsh and Co.

Getting Around:
By car:

Djindarup Retreat 2 is five minutes drive from Margaret River town by driving West along Walcliffe Road then turn Southwards at the Intersection with Caves Road. The first left turn heading South on Caves Road will be Roxburgh Road. Immendiately after turning into Roxburgh Road take the left into Djindarup Retreat (number 410) and follow the signs to your Tiny House. The driveway is suitable for 2WD standard cars.

Please note that: Car licence plate number & town of residence for all guest vehicles must be text to host prior to check in.

By public transport:

If travelling from oversees or interstate it is recommended to hire a car when visiting the Margaret River region (try No Birds car hire for competitive rates). However, SouthWest Coachlines do provide coach transport from Perth airport to Margaret River and taxi's can take you from the town to Djindarup Retreat

Other Things to Note:
- WiFi is available
- Pets are not allowed.
- Gas BBQ grill and potable water is available.
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed.
- No smoking allowed inside the tiny home, except in designated areas
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.
- Optus has a good signal, while Telstra has a weak signal, and Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark have no signal.

Important note:

- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
