We had a wonderful stay here while attending a wedding. The property is exactly as pictured and described. We loved the quiet street, and walked to restaurants and walking trails. We appreciated the yoga mat and hand weights, so we could continue our home fitness routine. We did not use the sauna, but if it had been winter, I know I would have tried it! The bed and pillows were comfortable, the shower was great, and the entire place was super clean. Highly recommend it for any couple.

The listing says the unit is on the "lower level" of a house. In real estate terms, that's the first floor. In fact, THIS IS A BASEMENT APARTMENT THAT SMELLS MUSTY. There is no fresh air except an egress window in the bedroom. While the kitchen, bathroom are modern, it doesn't take away from the fact that this is a BASEMENT. The poor air quality aggravated my allergies, requiring a Lyft ride to a pharmacy plus medications. I aimed to take refuge outside, but the furniture there was dirty. So, it was a choice between dirt or poor air. Real estate law requires listings to clearly disclose if the space is "below grade" -- the official term for a basement. Regardless of whether the listing is subject to that particular law, there's no excuse for gross misrepresentation. I was refunded a whopping 34.80. Seriously?Avoid this property if you like air and light.

We want to clarify for future travelers that our listing identifies the apartment as a single-story lower-level unit and notes that it is the lower-level portion of the home, including the stairs required for entry. The newly renovated apartment is maintained as a pet-free space, and because we are particularly sensitive to odors ourselves, keeping it fresh and comfortable is a priority. After reviewing the concern, we found no evidence of a musty odor and remain confident in the condition of the space for our guests. The concerns raised during the reservation were also independently reviewed through the booking channel's resolution process, and the outcome did not substantiate the concerns to the extent described in this review. We remain committed to providing an accurately represented, welcoming home.

Right Place at the Right Time!

We were returning from a long vacation to our house where major renovations had been taking place for several weeks. We were uable to move in and needed something close-by. This was the perfect solution for a short term stay. Close to everything including restaurants and the walking trails around Lake Nokomis. Would we do it again? Absolutely!
