We saw the sun in December!

Beautifully kept condo right by the pool (although they do play music at the pool for about 10am - it varies, if you don’t want to hear that maybe not for you), couple minutes to walk to the marina. Comfy beds, nice linens and towels, and POOL TOWELS!

Great place!

This condo was perfect! Gorgeous, spacious, Great views of ocean, steps to pool, friendly staff at Mariners Cove and Keys Caribbean. If I had to make a complaint, it would be the water pressure in the master bath. Shower and sink in front of it very weak. Not sure if this is a condo issue or building issue so just want to put it out there. Would definitely stay again!

Prefect getaway condo

We loved everything about the property and the pool access. It comfortably slept 6 adults and an infant. Great communication with the property owner for checkin/checkout process. Only issues we encountered was the bed sheets were dirty once we pulled the comforters back. We slept on top of them. Beds and pillows were comfortable. & the oven didn’t seem to work well. We were overall pleased with our stay and would stay again.

Key largo getaway

The place was very nice, good location, right by the pool with ocean views. Had some issues with a doorknob, toilet flapper, table leg, and loose seatback, but hopefully these will be resolved before the next guest.

Not clean!

The images on the listing are true to the actual property. It is very nice. That said, buyer beware. The place was not clean, there was debris on the floor throughout the condo and a cockroach in the 1/2 bath, in addition to food and sodas left on the counter from the previous guests. On day two, we were greeted with cockroaches in the kitchen drawers and cabinets. Called Mariner's Cove number and was told someone would come the following day to spray. The following day, roaches were falling out of one of the drawers. We caught one in a cup and left it on the floor for the bug people. When we returned at the end of the day, the cup and roach were still there. Apparently, no one could come out until Monday (the day we left). With the amount of dirt and presence of roaches, I am confident that COVID-19 cleaning protocols were not followed, et alone a general cleaning. I have sent photos to VRBO, chatted twice with them, am assured they have contacted the owner, but I have yet to hear back from anyone regarding this. I am supremely disappointed and caution potential renters.

Unfortunately, we could not have them inspect the property before your departure. Hi Karyn. We are very disappointed to learn that you had a negative experience with this property. As this unit is located at the Sanded Oasis Pool, it is possible for dust to settle very quickly. However, we also noticed that you did not call our guest services team upon your arrival or at any time during your stay to notify us of this issue, otherwise we would have rectified this issue for you immediately. This is a goregous property in a lovely tropical setting with all of the amenities of home and we are saddened that you feel the property is only valued as a 2 star rating. Hopefully you will give us another opportunity to show you that your experience is certainly not a normal experience.

Great place to vacation

The location of this unit was great. Close to the pool and a great view of the ocean. The unit was roomy and clean, however the outlets in the kitchen did not work and luckily I brought an extension cord with me that we were able to plug in the dining room. Very frustrating not to have coffee in the morning. Called Key Caribbean 3 times to get this repaired as it was also dangerous. Said they would get someone out to repair the outlets, however no one ever showed up. I also think there might be a problem with the electric coming into the unit as my blow dryer blew up. Some one needs to look into this. It would also be nice to get some kind of credit for the inconvenience and the cost of a new blow dryer!! Representative said they would relay my concerns, however again I have not heard anything. Other than this problem we had a good time.....

Thank You for the review Charles. We did have an electrician there to replace one of the GFI's during your stay, but you were not there when he went. However, after further tests there was in fact another issue in the same wiring series which he had to collect proper color parts for that were not available locally. We are glad to advise Each GFI in the series has now been replaced and is working properly. Also, we did confirm that our team spoke with your regarding a credit which was given to you. A credit does take a little extra time to process through the accounting department. All in all it seems you enjoyed your stay and we apologize for the hick-up and rest assured the issue has been fully resolved.
